Well posted, Curumina, I would take pleasure in meeting you someday, 'cause you know what you are doing. This is a beautiful, perfectly accented, version of this Ivan Lins piece with nice stills. She is a real talent, especially when she became convertible with her voice since mastering the Piano. I am sure the loss of her husband, the great Randy Brecker, took it's toll on her progressing career. She has better recordings, but you can't go wrong with a nice Ivan Lins tune.

This is nice but one has to hear the original from Ivan and/or the wonderful version with Simone and Sergio Mendes. I'm sorry, I'm American but no English lyric can touch the sensitivity and nuance of the Portugese lyric and sound. It' sounds good but one has to hear the real version.

Ola, Ignacio, and thank you. I agree that Ivan Lins original, "Anjo de Mim" is very beautiful (he's a maestro who I believe parallels Tom Jobim!). You make a good point about the nuance of the beautiful Portuguese lyrics (sound, sensitivity, etc.).. though still pretty in English, something does change. I'm a big fan of Eliane's music and believe she could sing this quite beautifully in either language. Glad you enjoyed though, and have a nice evening. : )
