This lost out on the tension building, dialogue, character development and back stories, some of the best scenes and some of the style and presentation- the things that make Tarantino movies interesting and awesome to watch. You condensed it down to a killing spree. Still, I applaud the effort- its a good experiment since people are always saying it should have been one movie. This is Tarantino's art and obviously he's the one who knows what he's doing with it. Sorry.

I love these movies. But whats the point of watching it when all the major scences are cut from it. The wedding scene, the daughter scene, the training with Pai Mei! Those are some of the key points to the whole kill bill vol 1 & 2 movies.

Valiant effort. While I do think you can get away with omitting the Hanzo and O-Ren background scenes, the story is left a tad too bare when the Pai Mei training and Karen Kim assassination attempt are omitted. The first explains why she is a more skilled warrior than the rest of them and the second explains why she left Bill and why he did what he did. It all of a sudden jumps from her leaving Elle in Budd's trailer to her killing Bill. Like I said, not bad, but a little empty.

This was an interesting experiment at reediting the two films, and I applaud you for your efforts. What bothered me though was your choice to cut out some MAJOR plot elements; you cut out the daughter entirely, all of Sonny Chiba's character, and all the flashbacks. In your recut, it's not clear why Beatrix was attacked in the first place, or why she seems to have an bond with Bill at the end, and all the human element is missing. You should have at least kept Beatrix's daughter at the end.

Anyway, great job with the edits. It's kinda weird how people are all up in arms about how scenes were cut. It's not meant to portray the film verbatim and there was a disclaimer that stated it was edited. I mean seriously, 11 ten-minute clips couldn't capture all of it... duh.

I wouldn't be so harsh, I agree that if you haven't watched the full films, you are missing out, but I can imagine the hard work involved to edit it down to this. I also agree with Bigredman87, it could have explained why BB left the squad in the first place but although I love the Pai Mai scenes, it has been edited enough for the viewer to imagine what goes on during her training.

I have watched the vols. so often that this was just the perfect treat for an otherwise dull afternoon!
