@wrigzor there's no point topping indica strains really, i know swiss cheese is about 30% sativa but it wont make much difference to your yield and take longer till harvest. It make a big difference when its over 50% sativa tho

@wilsonriverfisher You obviously don't know what you are talking about. CFLS actually produce more usable light than HID you just have to put them closer to the tops so there is more penetration to the lower parts of the plant and supplement with side lighting

@TheBell65 Topping is just pinching the top part where the new growth goes from, so instead of one main stem it uses all its energy to grow two.

@TheBell65 yeah you get 15%ish more but the buds will be smaller, I tried it a few times and dont think its worth it. if you grow just do one plant and then compare with the rest of what you got. from what I have seen of others if you are only doing 1/2 plants for yourself then its probably a good way to go.

how tall your plant grow? in may i'll plant a couple of this beauties but outdoors i live in mexico so weather is not an issue just a little worry about the fact that the place where i'll plant can be seen like from a 100mts i hope that is no issue :S

@giljav I grow indoors, so i control the height of the plants, but if grown outdoor, i'd say you can expect anything from .5 meter to 4meter+ depending on the conditions, and phenotype. Thats a general rule for outdoor plants.

Ofc you can tie plants down outdoors aswell, to controll the height.
