Good info about the song. I remember I bought 25 years ago a best of record with no info on the sleeve & was surprised to listen to a different (but good) version of that song that I knew from the radio.I once read they released some recordings only under the name BUDDY HOOLY (though the Crickets backed him up) & some under BUDDY HOLLY & the CRICKETS.I can't remember anymore but I think when back up vocals were sung it was only BHOLLY(though the Crickets sang Backup) strange?!
