Advice for MnDOT - Bridge Building Game

I just succeed the bridge level 10 at 2:48. But i didn't use the balance. I have stopped the fall by a kind of snail shell... (but i don't know how to make a vid of it). Great job by the way.

I`m Sorry to tell you, but almost every bridge in the "new" Levels could be build easier and cheaper. And the one at 3:11 is like a fake, there is a "real" way to build that one. But you did a real good job at some, for example at 2:49 an 2:22

@AxelM4 I made this vid about 5 days after I first downloaded the game. My levels are a lot more efficient now. Rule of thumb - Just use triangles.

Yes, thats what i do, too. Makes the game a bit boring, but then its possible to pass most of the levels by using less then half of the budget

well... for seperate parts you right click the lines when it turns yellow and if you mean several parts just left click and a little white square will come out hope this helped!!

nobody can build a bridge at lvl 11 without "cheating" by using the ground underwater. If you know what i mean.

It wasn't a real scenario. There was a fixed pivot at the top of the middle triangle. The bridge was hanging from the pivot.

the top members are restrained with a pin support, so its quite possible, actualy this is not even the most effective one u can build..

My approach to the bridges were a bit different than yours, however I did use your video for some inspiration on some bridges, most notably at 2:05 and 2:37, and my favourite bridge in this video would be at 0:58 because it looks so damn good!

i have version 1.25 and i am on old map pack on the last level (level 15). it is small and with only one anchor point. I have tried everything but i cannot get the bridge to slope up; the game thinks it is a support and not the bottom of the bridge, if someone could upload a vid or let me know what to do it would be awesome. thanks!

it's just that on so many of these bridges, like for example on old level 13 you can build a bridge of simple triangle structure all the way accross and that works well, only costs 4100 as well. I do find strange how on new levels 11 and 13 the train only weighs 80000 which isn't normally too much of a problem yet the levels are so difficult to build a standard structure on.

level 9 (new) is i'd say the hardest level in the game. couldn't have done any of it without this video! The train weighs an enormous amount on that level, same on the last but at least on the last level you don't have to make the bridge as big :P

People always ask me on this. You have to reinforce the sides of the middle pier. The part thats blurry is the part where two lines cross.
