He turned Jews into homicidal sociopaths and did so in a hyperbolic, ultra-violent way. Just see the NYTimes review. I pretty much agreed with that--except that my conclusions were more critical. Who cares?! As for the man, I really have no opinion. Who cares?! He's a famous movie maker, but he's not on the level of Spielberg or Cameron. Hey! I'm studying math and physics not film. Just a bloody hobby. Who cares?! I'm a movie buff only because I've watched countless films. You don't bloody care!

Nominated for 8... count 'em 8 academy awards!!! To be honest, tho... it wasn't really his best work. Don't get me wrong, it was an entertaining flick, but as far as Tarantino goes.... well, I thought it was a bit lacking. He was completely overshadowed by Rodriguez on the whole Grindhouse thing, too. Kill Bill is classic Tarantino, & I still think Jackie Brown is his tour de force.

It always bothered me how Q didn't make a distinction between real Nazi's, officers, SS, guys like that, and regular conscripted soldiers. Maybe that was the guy in the audiences beef too :P.

Anyway it's a Tarantino movie so I know I shouldn't expect nuance haha, I still enjoy his work.
