Touché tibuchi1! The question asked off camera was how did we get into 'salsa' and we were asked to repeat that question on camera in our answer which we did.

The term ‘casino’ is one we use regularly along with ‘rueda’, ‘rueda de casino’, ‘salsa rueda’ and ‘Cuban salsa’. We have found that ‘casino’ is not widely understood (especially to those outside the Cuban scene) so for that reason we use a variety of terms to make sure everyone is on the same page and knows what we’re on about :)

Interesting that word ¨casino¨ is not used. You guys say you dance ¨cuban salsa¨, but you non Cuban salsa music in the video. Salsa is something you eat. You dance casino with just one partner or in a rueda
