I had to have this, but it didn't hurt but when they spray that cold stuff on you your toe freezes up to where you cant even feel anything what so ever its cool..and on my toe they found a little sharp piece of nail scraping against the inside of my toe but ohh does it feel better now. lol

people its not painful at all ive had this done 3 times now the needle part doesnt even hurt they spreay your toe with some really cold shit so u cant even feel the needle go in its 100% painfree !!!!

This is done in the local doctors surgery in Australia. Had it done to each big toe(up with a loose sneaker on the next day). The real bad one in when the put you under in hospital, so they can remove the total toe nail and nail bed.They're not gentle either. To remove the nail bed, they use a type of surgical GRINDER. to grind it away. This is excruciating when pain meds wear off. no shoes for 7 weeks, toenail doesn't grown back, ever. I'm supposed to have other toe done. no way!

YUCK! i had that done in may of 2007, it was starting to get infected so i had it fixed, and then i got another 1 in the same place a few months ago, but it grew past... they r SO painful tho
