Emirate has the worst service ever! If you fly coach and if you are an Indian flying from NYC to Dubai, you probably are in for some Narcissistic treatment.
DON'T FLY EMIRATES unless you are white. They treat Indians and Black people very badly.
I flew on their new A380 thrice now but the staff were the worst of any airlines I have ever been. I didn't have any issues with the ambiance or food.
Airbus A380 made by German, England, France and Spain , with final assembly in Toulouse in France so this Airbus A380 is made by The 4 countries of Europe, A380 Airlines - Air France, Emirates, Lufthansa, Qantas, Singapore Airlines.
Heathrow is a terrible airport. Should be moved out into the Thames estuary and linked to the city by high speed rail. One day a very large aircraft is going to come down somewhere onto a densely populated area and then...... and only then.....will Heathrow move.
It's very unlikely that Heathrow will be moved. It's also very unlikely that it will get a 3rd runway. A plane coming down in a densely populated area can technically happen anywhere.
Yes, I know it's unlikely to be moved because its it's too expensive. But, the planners must look 50 years on. An estuary airport could link the channel tunnel and the rest of the UK with high speed rail (avoiding London) - cutting out short haul flying. 380s and 350s are the future for long/medium haul with high speed rail for shorter distances. Also Heathrow is a mess. That land could be used for so many other purposes. Noise/safety - everywhere - HK, Munich etc. have planned. Why not London?
I definitely agree that Heathrow could be much better than what it is. They should at least have a nice viewing area for spotters to visit like they do on the continent.
I would second that because you are so right about a plane coming down on a densely populated could happen just about anywhere in the world not just Heathrow.
Mcp, do you know why she rolled down to the end of 09L when she landed, that is a strange route to take to Terminal 3 as it looked like she was heading towards the BA maintenance hangers!
I'm not sure, maybe only certain areas of the airport can handle the plane or it may be that it was quicker for them to go to the end and then around saves coming back on themselves.
You know I think you are right as I have seen a vid on here with an SIA A380 landing on 09L and doing the same thing so I guess it is just that runway. Thanks for the reply.
Hey Middle east and the arab gulf countries are rich. Any gulf country can buy your country with there money. You just brag about Vietnam, I see why all asians pour in the Arab Gulf for the money..... You think Vietnam is rich its 100% poor. So dont judge people on rich or poor. I dont like that, Rich countries should help poor countries.
You Arabs are not capable of building or doing anything yourself! Have you been to Emirate and Saudi Arabia?
Everyone working there is a foreigner and once your oil money is gone you will go back to riding your camels like your stupid goat fu cking profit Mokhamad
I have just flown on this very plane A6-EDA from LHR-DBX and DBX-LHR. Awesome! just awesome. This plane is beautiful. Its so quite even on take off. Emirates have got a 1st class product and The Boeing Aircraft Company have got alot of catching up to do to come close to the A380. If anybody gets the chance to fly this aircraft, grab it, it is well worth the unique experiance. The standard of service is just fantastic. The in-flight entertainment ICE is top class. Thank you Emirates!!!
Nice Im glad u have seen da light! i have gone in the boieng 777 300er for emirates and dey put the exact interior in it like the a380 besides the showers. Its awsome!!!!!!!!!
Hi im due to fly on the A380 Emirates Airlines on Sunday 19th December to Kenya from Athens as i hold a membership account with them. I have had plenty of positive feed back from alot of my family members of whom have respectively travelled with Emirates Airlines Boeing A380 nd i must addmitt it that i have become impatient meaning as in i cant wait to travel on the Aircraft its self.
To answer your questions. This was taken in a small grassy area at the end of Myrtle Avenue to the South East of the airport (immediately across the road from it).
The plane took off from runway 09R which is Heathrow's southern runway pointing east.
If you look at my video responses above you can see the Emirates A380 landing on runway 27L (southern runway pointing west) from the same vantage point. A must see if you liked this video.
If you think this video is impressive you should check out my video of the Emirates A380 landing which is linked to this video under video responses above.
I was so close to the plane I was practically blown off my feet by the wake turbulance that followed.
Thanks for your comment. Emirates flies a daily A380 service into Heathrow which has scheduled arrival time of 11.35am, it departs at around 13.30pm.
QANTAS have just started A380 service to Heathrow as well. I have just uploaded the first flight of QANTAS A380 to Heathrow which you will find on my channel page. The QANTAS A380 is currently scheduled 3 times a week.
Whoa! That thing is huge! And I'm guessing it's going to Dubai or Abu Dhabi. I wish I could ride an Airbus 380 or the A350 and visit Heathrow airport, that huge international hub. Do you know if there is any airline carrier in US or Canada currently ordering A380s for their fleets?
Emirates Airline is based in Dubai and Etihad is based in Abu Dhabi. Currently there are no US or Canadian airlines with orders for the A380 although United Airlines and possibly North West Airlines are rumoured to be interested.
Such a shame that it was retired. We definitely took a step back when Concorde was grounded. The A380 though is an equally impressive aircraft from Europe. We had the first (and only) supersonic airliner and now the world's largest airliner.
The nose of Concord, The hump of the 747 and now the fabulous gull wing of the A380( specially viewed from the rear) all iconic images. She really is one impressive aircraft
Have been looking through the video's on your channel. You have some really good material so i'm gonna subscribe. I wish I could film videos like that.
I'm sure you could if you practice at it. My earlier videos aren't great but the more I filmed the better my videos became. I also read and take on board the comments I get to maximise the viewing potential of my content.
For instance someone asked if I could film a Cyprus Airways A330 at Heathrow for them and I did. Others have told me their favourite airlines and aircraft and I have tried my best to film these for them.
Ultimately though I film what I film because I enjoy it.
I have noticed that you haven't filmed every airline that uses Heathrow/Manchester Ringway. Is that out of choice? If so, what attracts you to film a particular airline/airplane and which airlines would you love to be able to film.
For me I like to film the airlines that fly my favourite liveries such as QANTAS' Kangaroo and Virgin Atlantic's Scarlet Lady. I also like to film as many airlines as I can with all of their different aircraft and liveries.
I really dislike the Alitalia livery, I think it looks so old fashioned and dated now and I also don't like the airline.
I would love to be able to film Frontier Airlines with their animal tails and some of the larger Lufthansa and Air France fleet.
Frontier Airlines is a low cost carrier based in Denver, Colorado USA. They operate a fleet of Airbus aircraft though do have some Bombardier Dash-8 aircraft. I like them cos they have a different animal on each tail, just makes the livery that bit more interesting to look at.
I think it's the colour combination, red, green white and black it just doesn't look as attractive as some other airlines.
It's quite amazing..that considering the massive size of the aircraft..it's silencers must be so powerful..that's why the aircraft's engines are very quite..so to say...not loud at all ae...pretty cool invention!!
Fantastic Video. That looks like one heck of a snowy sky over head there as the plane taxi's around the airport. I bet the passengers on board have a real shock to their system having come from Sunny, Hot, Dubai!
It was soooo cold there today. A top, jumper, scarf, fleece and gloves where not enough to keep the cold out it was freezing... and i'm used to the English climate. I bet it was a real shock to the system when the opened the doors.
I'm really pleased how this video turned out and chuffed that I am the first to post this on YouTube.
I have a Scanner which enables me to listen in to what ATC are saying to the pilots. I never had it with me when the Lufthansa Plane made the aborted Landing so made sure I had it today.
A QANTAS 747-400 made an aborted landing whilst waiting for the A380 to come in.
Another superb video from mcpcshowcase. I would really like to see this plane in the Emirates colours but until I can see it in real life i'll enjoy your coverage.
Thanks for sharing (5 stars and straight to favourites!)
Can I ask why you didn't film the departure on it's very first visit?
Of course you can. I travelled down overnight to get to the airport in time to see the flight come in and hadn't been feeling too good so decided not to wait 2+ hours for the plane to be turned around ready for its departure.
I filmed several other videos though on this day so it wasn't a wasted journey. I was on a bit of a search today to try and find alternate places to film the QANTAS A380 departure on 17 January 2008 as it will be arriving in the dark on that day.

Dear All,
I have some questions about psychology on aviation:
*Why do we love flying?
*Why do we relate flying with our full potentials and with our successes?
*Why do we use the phases "take off" and "fly high" as a kind of adjectives to describe our success of our hard working?
*Why do we used the word "runway" as a expression of optimistic future of a person/ a team?
*Why do we relate aviation with freedom?
THANK YOU IN ADVANCE for your creative ideas and brainstorm!!!
