@g10gmx yes sadly you can't choose what to tap for mana. Game saw he had 2 black cards in hand that were playable so it taps the 2 white. 2 black cards in hand vs 1 white one. Game only looks at playable cards in hand and not abilities.

i started to realize that it taps ur lands according to the instants in your grip and not abilities on your creatures/artifacts. pay attention to what you have in your grip and you can predict wat lands magic will tap for u.

you don't use vindicate (or any removal) on a land unless you are in a commanding position and want to prevent a swindle, JT. When you're just waiting for him to guy up to kill his side, you want to wait for him to play guys, not kill his lands and delay him while you do nothing and he starts bashing you. It seems nice when you kill land but it most often is best used somewhere else.
