  • Leo there is no other perit I won't want then you

  • It's sad he died so young, they can become like 20-30 years old...

  • RIP Leo

  • This is so sad... I've always loved watching Leo's videos and I just found out today Leo died. I'm really sorry for your loss..

  • Oh, no. I'm so sorry for your loss.

  • I have a sun conure and a jenday conure, i havent yet heard my sun conure make any ear percing sounds. and I have him for a few months already. Hes quiet and well behaved, i just cant seem to train him. He doesnt like any treats i offer him so training is a pain. im at a loss

  • Hello, I am very sorry to hear about Leo. I thought that I was the only one with full flighted conures that fly outside. What a joy it was for me to see your clips only to be saddened with the knowledge that Leo is dead. I have a nine year old sun, her name is Rosie. I also have a 12 year old Nanday, his name is Greenace. Both of them go to one specific park to fly. They have not been out in quite some time. I know how hard it is to have one die, I feel for your loss.

  • To people who want to get a sun conure after watching vids of Leo:

Do your research before you get one.

I was at a petstore and the associates were trying hard to get me to buy

a baby one. Having the money and ignorance I did. She was pretty fun and cuddly, only problem was they happened to neglect that they tend to scream. Living in an apartment I had to re-home her to this lovely elder couple who has other sun conures. All I'm saying is research before you find out any unwanted habits.

  • @tsukikarosaki I'm so glad you said this. Pet-store conures aren't always good pets. I met a wonderful Sun Conure at a pet store last night - I was astounded; I've never seen a conure that isn't a little crazy in the head living in a pet store. Most of the time, they are loud, grumpy birds. Get one from a breeder instead!

Either way, all conures are ear-piercingly loud at least once a day. Leo was no exception - of course, he was much quieter when spending time with family.

  • Leo's so bdazz its all good, he'll be waiting for u there when you go ^__^

I know how hard it is to lose these little guys, they become so close to ur life and are on ur to do list every day to do something for/with them. RIP Leo ^__^

  • Leo was a troll. Serves him good!

  • thats sad....he was so cute...

  • So sorry to hear the bad news. What a fabulous bird. I'm seriously thinking of getting one after watching Leo's Videos.

  • i lost my sun conure too. it was a tragic death and i miss him very much.:(

  • I am sorry to hear your lose.

  • Sorry to hear off your lose its been years since the accident l know its hard my bird was eaten by a dog it was horrible.

  • OMG i'm so sorry i didn't read your head line i'm so sorry they really do become part of the family

  • So sorry for ur loss,i've seen ur videos and he was an amazing bird. So cute.

And he was so tamed. R.I.P. Leo!

  • He was a gorgeous bird and he obviously brought you a lot of happiness and love. You should be congratulated for raising such an amazing creature. :)

  • Having 6 feathered children, I couldn't imagine one of them gone in their cage. My most sincere sorrow for a wonderful mom.

  • Im sorry for your loss. He was a great bird. In my honest opinion if you stay with in the conure family you should get a blue crown conure, seriously of all the birds I've had over the years they had the most affectionate and unique personality. I also have seen them reach the level of Leo without being personally hand fed by the owner.

  • I know this is belated but I am sorry for your loss of Leo & I am sure it was devastating. That was very sad when you said he was buried with his bed & his toys.... I am sure your friend lived a very happy life

    Paul

  • I feel sorry for leo.. <3

I just bought a new conure, and he's about 4 years old..

and I hand feed him all the time he wont bite...But he wont let me touch him yet =p

I wanna ask you how to train him before I make a mistake or something lol

  • Keep him free, don't take away what is so unique to him (his flight and his freedom)! Seems to me he lived a wonderful bright and happy life. These sad unexpected situations even happen even to people!

  • I'm sorry... I would encourage you to keep your next bird inside, or leashed and clipped. The outside world is a very scary place, and it full of germs...

  • I'm so sorry :( Rest in peace, Leo

  • RIP LEO

  • I have a tear in my eye

  • Am sorry for u lost le was the best bird on youtube:'(

  • ;( so sorry If I get One i will name it after you

  • I'm so sorry about your lose. Leo seemed he couldn't be any happier with you and I dont think anyone could have loved him more then you did.

My bird is named Leo as well, but hes a cockatiel = )

  • wait how he died

  • awww .... well hes in a better place now

  • I realy liked to see your movies with leo, he was very funny. It's very sad he died at such a young age :( Do you have already a new bird?

  • i feel so bad for your loss, but if you are a pro with birds, I highly recommend a blue and gold macaw. they act mainly like a dog. if you are sad they will come to you, and right now i have a clue that youre sad so if you want one go to birdsnow.com for THE CHEAPEST birds. my bro wants a scarlet macaw and he found one for ONE dollar.i am OBBSESSED with birds and know alot about them. if you want any bird info respond to this and i will respond back thx ^3^

  • @lunerfall, a sun conure

  • I bought a sun 3 yrs ago. (turned out female). We bought her a month old to build a strong bond. But the reason we bought her was because of Leo on youtube. I was facinated how playfull leo was. Funny thing thou, I just foung out leo died. 2 years ago. My sun keeps me busy.

  • R.I.P. Leo

  • Sigh. I still miss Leo. He was my favorite sun conure on youtube. I probably watched all his videos and am still browsing them every once in a while. My sun conure also died 2 years ago so I have a soft spot for these birds.

  • Even though this was two years ago.. Leo is still making people smile and laugh even now. He was a beautiful sweet bird.. and it is so obvious how much he was loved. And he loved you..

  • I'm so sorry to hear that Leo was an amazing bird. I lost a sun 5 years ago however I currently have a 3 year old a sun who is the love of my life, she can speak several words.

  • LEO became (had) the best

    and you had the best....✿•*¨Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ

    ....✿•*¨Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒyour ... Love.....✿•*¨Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ..

    ~Tine~

  • i´m sorry,my most sincere condolences.i have one and they are wonderful.a big hug fron Spain.

  • KippTheKidd- No wonder I never saw, or, heard of anything from Leo for the past year-and-a-half as pertains to your YouTube videos.; I just came across this vdieo, a few seconds ago & when I commented on an older video of Leo, they said he passed awayt & I didn't believe it, at first.

I'm sorry to hear about Leo, too. My love-bird, Kirby died two days after 'Super Bowl 44' & I'm sure he & Leo would've gotten along, great had we ever met in real-life, or, something like that.

  • @kippthekidd get a budgie and teach it stuff please :) or another sun conure please!!!!

  • im sorry for that but, thats why i live in Florida all my animals make it in the winter every year

  • Im so sorry about Leo. i just discovered him and your clips a week ago. I have a female for 11 years now. Im tearing up.

  • What an amazing animal....my heart goes out to you....but were obviously a good parent to him.....can't ask for too much more than that..... all the best to you and your future bird friends......

  • My first pet bird, Buddy who was a budgie died really unexpectedly like that too... he was right in my hands though when he did... I'm sorry for your loss, even though it was almost two years ago. I'd go for another sun though =)

  • I am so sorry what are ways you can prevent this :(

  • @linky7980

I'm sure Leo lived a good life.; I had a love-bird for 8 years that died 2 days after 'Super Bowl 44', so, I know how it feels as pertains to losin' pets. He lived a good life, too... Practically run of the house as far as rules & limitations we had on him.: :)

  • ha it's hard to tape one of my budgies because she loves to bite the camera lens whenever she sees it xD and btw, i'm really sorry for your loss! :( rip leo

  • I lost my budgie randomly much in the same way (dead at the bottom of cage) when I was young and I always felt like it was my fault, even though I tried my best to take care of him. I think he died when the temperature dropped drastically and unexpectedly in the night :(

  • So sad to learn that Leo passed away. I've raised a lot of birds from babyhood. Always kept them free and only caged them at night to keep them safe from baby monitor lizards and snakes the sometimes came into the house at night. Eventually I let them out to mate and they'd fly away. Painful, but birds have to be kept free. Flying is the best thing they like to do.

  • I don't know what I would do if my bird were to die =[ Especially a trained bird like Leo.. I'm so sorry

  • i hate how youtube pets die, they were so young, first (or second) Flippycat and now Leo =(

    R.I.P Leo

  • how did you actually trained leo?

    ;

  • Aww NOOO Leo :"( may he RIP idk what I would do if my sunconure died I would probably break down crying for weeks :(

  • I really enjoyed watching your videos of Leo in the past, I loved your bird.

    RIP Leo

  • i am good with birds all birds they love me

  • Aww. You seemed like you loved him so much. Like I told my mom the other day (her squirrel passed), I'm sure he had an extraordinary life with you!!!

  • What Kind of bird was he? i will Adopt a bird like him and name him leo in honer of your leo :)

  • @lunerfall hes a sun conure i have 1

  • @lunerfall Leo is a Sun Conure THEY ARE SO BEAUTIFUL

  • @lunerfall A sun Conure

  • @lunerfall it's a sun conure

  • @lunerfall i'm not the owner or person that filmed the video but leo is a sun conure.

  • @lunerfall Sun Conure.

  • I cried a little. I love birds so much. I'm sorry for your loss

  • :(

  • I almost cried

  • Has the bird another partner from the same species?

  • Don´t mess my feathers up man hehe

  • looks like a really nice park there........ lovely bird as well RIP

  • :( i know how it feels to lose a bird, i've unfortunately lost 2, a lovebird and a Red Rosella. I was somewhat prepared when the lovebird died as she was eggboung. But the Rosella was completely unexpected. The rosella waited until we all got home to pass away, he flew to me as i walked in the house for his last goodbye and passed away in my mothers arms. It was truly traumatic. We don't really know what happened, we think stroke or heart attack. Maybe you should consider a Rosella

  • 0:03 watch Leo!

  • how did you train Leo to free flight ?? ive seen all ur videos and Leo's just awesome !

  • If you're thinking about getting a new parrot species, I would think about what you loved most about Leo, and compare that with other species, and what they have to offer. Indian Ringneck Parrokeets are beautiful and intelligent, but generally not very snuggly. eclectuses are the same way, and have strong tendencies towards feather plucking.

  • Oh I know how you feel my little Green- Rumped Parrotlet died unexpectantly about two weeks ago. I only had him a little more than a month and I know you loved Leo very much

  • I'm so sorry ;(

  • ive watched all ur vids and he was a great bird. i was never into birds before till my wife brought home a sun conure, his name is queso (cheese in spanish) and he is just a great companion hes more like a dog than a bird. im sorry for ur loss :(

  • He was beautiful!

  • im crying and hes not even mine he was soo human like i bet he misses you too im still crying i love animals can you get another leo plzz he was such a friendly bird :(

  • I feel bad asking this but I was wondering if you were ever planning to get another bird? If so Id like to see your training process for free flight. It would be very interesting to watch.

  • @Amandah86 Leo was so awesome because we raised him from very young and he was with me all day at work. I'm not in that situation anymore, but it looks like I may be doing it again soon! I'm not sure what kind of bird I get, but I think I'll do it again.

Any ideas? Eclectus? Macaw? Another Sun? What about an Indian Ringneck or even a BLACK PALM!

  • @KippTheKidd I would go for something similar to a sun. Maybe a Meyers?? A grey would be a good challenge but maybe not so much a family bird. Will you be making vids of the new bird?

  • @KippTheKidd Just weighing in with my two cents, I've watched almost all your Leo videos now and I read these comments and was excited to hear you may be in the bird way sometime soon. I'd like to see you get another conure, but not a sun - maybe a painted.... if not, what about a blue headed pionus? they're GORGEOUS. I think Leo should go down as the only sun, because he can't be replaced, but that's just opinion. :) Happy bird hunting.

  • @KippTheKidd I've been considering an African Grey. They're really popular right now, but I want one because of their intelligence.

You might look into mini macaws! We have an adopted one and he is awesome.

  • @jdizzle451 African Greys are incredibly intelligent - that does not make for a good pet. Some say they've got the intelligence of a 5-year-old. Try locking a 5-year-old in a cage with no formal education, no peers, and no babysitter for hours at a time - you'll end up with a nutcase. If you go with an African Gray and you want it to be a nice bird, be prepared to become a full-time parent!

  • @KippTheKidd Oh, we know! I am a stay at home mom (on my husband's youtube). We have Evie, our baby girl, and then we have the three parrots and a boxer dog. We have a rescued, plucking blue crown conure who was locked in a garage for abour 5 years, Jack, a Hahn's mini macaw that was replaced by a bulldog (he's great now, but he was a biter when we got him!), and Mango, the only purchased one of the three. She's a Pineapple green cheek conure. She's my husbands, the other two are mine. :)

  • @KippTheKidd my aunt has an African Grey and it wrecks the place up including the curtains :S

  • @KippTheKidd even ringnecked doves are good pets :) thye cant talk but they are vary cuddly and can do many tricks :D but be careful because if you get a male and female togther, they breed fast xD i am vary sorry for your loss ;'(

  • @KippTheKidd Get a lorikeet! :)

  • @KippTheKidd I pinapple conure, they are just as colorful, smaller, and less noisy. Plus, you can potty train 'em. I wanted one, but my mom made me get a blue ringneck. BAD IDEA! She is really nice, but she wont let me touch her, I'm to scared to even pick her up now, because she is so bipolar.

  • @KippTheKidd Def a ringneck!

  • @KippTheKidd naw i loved leo :( RIP Little guy xoxox. HOpe you got a good new bird :D Personally i love Indian Ringnecks.

  • @KippTheKidd U should get a Yellow Nape Amazon! If u look up Choozylady u will see a thumbnail of a green parrot. Click on it and u will see all the cool things they are able 2 do! its really cool! They can talk, sit on ur sholder, mostly everything Leo does they are cappible of doing. If i were u i would get 1 of those.

  • Thank you so much for sharing your family. I am so sorry for our loss. It is never easy losing any member of a family, and Leo was very special;we were all blessed by and are all the better for your special relationship. It was wonderful of you to share his growing up & many great personal moments. . You & he also reached a lot of people & taught a lot about how SMART and special a bird can be, as well as all your happy family (even rhode island red's!) may the 4 winds blow U home gently (Leo)

  • IM SO SORRY!!!! I just watched probably an hours worth of his videos...now I wanna cry :'( that makes me so sad

  • I've never seen a happier bird. I've wanted to get a wee parrot/let for years, but after seeing these videos I think that if I couldn't provide it with a similar level of freedom to that which you gave Leo, I'd rather not.

Watching all of his videos to find that he'd passed on was a terrible shock, it made me tear up.

But then it's so obvious that his quality of life was fantastic; I loved how more than a pet, he seemed a true member of the family.

Kudos to you for giving him such a fun life.

  • aww that sad my dog died too and he was 1 week old :(

  • U made me worried about my bird

  • Nooooooo I -3 Leo nooooooooo

  • I'm sorry for your loss.

Leo had a great life though! I could tell he was a very happy bird.

  • You have to be very careful not to expose birds to drafts. You mentioned cold and I am wondering if the bird was close to a draft. Drafts are 100 percent fatal to birds. Very sorry for your loss.

  • Sorry about your conure, was he vaccinated at all? Because I had an Indian Ringneck and when I gave her away she died from some illness. We got her from a shady bird store and she didn't have a quarantine band.

  • I was searching for Parrotlet vids when i came across Leo. He was truely outstanding.

I am looking for Parrotlet vids because I lost my 5 year old a few months ago and it still really, reeally hurts. He got sick out of nowhere and died within a week.

I just wanted to say that although it was a while ago, I'm sorry you lost your little buddy.

    :(

  • My brother had gotten a sun conure 9 months ago. A week ago he died by choking on something we got him from walmart i think. I got so used to him and I was not ready for this to happen at such a young age. We loved him very much i was crying the whole day. I know that he will always be in my heart. I might get another one :)

  • I just saw this I am sorry that he is passed . Like i said we had a lil cocktiel that was the same way. she passed from my daughter putting her lilly plant to close to her cage and poisoned her.

  • i was so sad when my lovebird died. i feel your pain man, and i was very close to my bird too.

  • I don't have anything to say, really.

  • what your saying is coming across as callous.

Anyways, my condolences. My bird, Rose (a Conure as well), died in 2005. I only recently got another bird. Although Rose is irreplaceable, Halo (My male Cockatiel) is extremely loved as well. This brought great memories. Thanks.

  • did leo know how to speak, im thinking about getting one

im very sorry about your loss

    RI.P leo

  • I've been watching your videos of Leo for about an hour tonight. Only to end up here.

So sorry for your loss. I too have a Sun Conure(there is one video of her in my uploads). I don't know what I would do if Lucky died. He's 11 years old, and is a very happy bird.

I'm thinking of you and your family.

  • HES DEAD :o

    He was an awesome bird

feel Sorry for you Brother :( <3

    R.I.P Leo

  • wow. he was an awsome little guy. im sorry for your loss.

    R.I.P Leo

    xxx

  • i just lost one of my cockatiels she was bought thru a breeder n they didnt tell us she had been born with a wild bird sickness n by the time she showed signs we couldnt save her sucks losing a bird like tht they become like family n we only had her for 2 years *hugs* i hope u had fun with leo in his 4 years he was with u

  • PS: I hope you sorry my bad English - I'm from Germany...

  • Thank you so much for shareing theese great moments with us! Leo was an amazing bird and you did a great job with him- by watching,I could feel how happy he was beeing with you and your family! I just found your videos today and I had to cry after I read that he had to die so young. I'm living with my Sparrow Erika I have found and drawn up.She is nearly 5 years now and and I am always afraid of the day when I have to say goodbye... So my heart goes out to you, RIP cute Leo

  • Michael Myers???

  • I remember, a couple years ago, finding your videos with Leo, Vergil use to chirp at him though he was only on a video. Seems we both lost a beloved feathered kid. I know the pain and I know, even after years, it still hurts, even with Lucia and Yamato here now, I still miss Vergil as I'm sure you still miss Leo. I know it's late but, I am sorry for your loss, you loved him dearly and it did show, I hope you have been able to heal some, I'm sure Leo was thankful for his time with you.

  • Awe thats so so sad he was an amazing bird ad with such freedom. You must have been devestated. He was such a clever birdie.I watched all his videos then i saw this one.I just cant believe it.My heart goes out to you.RIP lil leo.Mway:0)) xxx

  • Oh... RIP Leo! My deepest condolences. I know what you must have felt; mine died from a tumour at 7 years. Bird owners love their birds just as much as other owners love their dogs or cats really - they're all family.

  • :( Im really sorry for your birdie, but If it makes you feel any better , Leo inspired me to get a bird[: He was a great sun, seen all of your videos.

  • Sorry for your loss.

Hope you found another one to love.

  • I loved watching videos of Leo. He was an amazing bird and you did an amazing job with him. Anyone who says otherwise is ignorant. Even animals that receive the best care possible sometimes die young and there's nothing we can do about it. Don't listen to the trolls who love to stir up trouble, we all know they have no idea what they're talking about.

  • oh bless your heart to heal. i know that even after a year you're still hurt. one thing you can take with you when you die is the love you have inside. i'm sure he'll always love you. he's a special bird with God now n hoping you'll seek God too. i truly believe you can see him again. thank you for sharing and thank you for the good life n love Leo had. God bless.

  • I'd just like to thank you for sharing these amazing videos of Leo.

You may be surprised (or not!) to hear that I wasn't really a bird person before. After coming across a few videos on youtube, I became more and more intrigued. I finally came across some videos of Leo. He's one of the most beautiful birds I've ever seen in my life. He is one of the reasons why I'm so fascinated by and obsessed with birds. I'm sorry for your loss. And thank you, once again!

  • He is such a gorgeous bird. sorry for your loss

  • I'm sorry for your loss, My mom has had a little sun conure looks just like leo for about 16 years now, we were told she was a boy way back when, till he started laying eggs. I have a 15 year old Africa Grey, who is very camera shy, I try treats and it hasnt worked yet, I'll get him adjusted to the camera some day.

  • @oilrig22 It's usually because they're spoiled with seed. In the wild, Sun Conures only get seed before winter to save up calories for the cold. If a Conure gets seed year-round, they'll have weight and nutrition problems. Switch to fruit-based bird kibbles like "AvianMaintenance" or "Exact" and cut out the seeds.

Just monitor your bird carefully for a few days to make sure he makes the switch. Softening the pellets with water or using weaning food can help. He'll live 10 yrs longer!

  • @KippTheKidd

    Hello Kipp,

I feel very sorry for your loss. It's terrible man, what happened with Leo. I hope he will be in a better place now. I love Leo very much and he was the reason that I bought a Sun Conure. Thanks to you and thanks to Leo for sharing your magic moments on the net. Leo was sure one in a million...

    Greetings, Moes

  • he died? that's sad. how long do they usually live in the wild? how long did Leo live?

  • @MustNotRead Don't know how long they live in the wild. When eating seed, they live about 10 years. When eating fresh fruits, veggies and specially formulated parrot food like Leo, they can live around 25 years, even up to 35. Leo died when he was 4. =(

  • @KippTheKidd it's 25 to 35 years

  • R.I.P. Leo..

  • soft husky woooos,

    RA

  • @rararaHusky I LOVE huskies! Leo had some German Shepherd friends, too.

  • Coolest bird in the whole world , i love him so badly , your so lucky you was able to have such a bird , and congratulations of taking so good care of him, all the videos about him is awesome! :) , im thinking of getting a Cockatiel my self.

  • rip leo!! ill see u in heaven!! sorry for you guys loss.... best bird ever!

  • whats sad is because he seemed well and healthy in this video. i literally cried once i found out he died rather than just flew off for a little to chase that toy plane. i am sorry for your loss.

  • @ibanedfrmrs2 Being a free-flight bird, that's what I expected too - we were prepared for a predator - maybe an osprey, dog or a cat... maybe a car or getting shut in a door. We were aware of the risks and figured they were, yes risky, but worth it... but to be taken out by bacteria... totally not ready for that! :(

  • Coolest bird in the whole world , i love him so badly , your so lucky you was able to have such a bird , and congratulations of taking so good care of him, all the videos about him is awesome! :) , im thinking of getting a Cockatiel my self.

  • I used to follow Leo's progress a lot on here but only just saw this through the recommendations. From one sun conure parent to another, I am so sorry. I dread anything happening to Rooney and he's a 2004 chick too. They're so full of life it's hard to imagine they might just go oneday without a warning (or a cuddle).

  • I'm sorry you lost him. I'm equally sorry people havent got the brains to decide that maybe their unhelpful criticism will not bring him back. Sometimes birds just go before their time. It isnt fair and it sure as hell isnt easy.

I will remember Leo for being the most awesome little conure i got to see on youtube, i named my own conure after him.

    RIP Leo!

  • oh dear I was a major fan of leo and then stopped watching for a while, i just revisted these videos and wasn't ready to see this.... oh poor leo....

  • sorry for your loss. I enjoy watching all of your videos. I have a Sun Conure myself. Can you let me know what type of behavior or signs Leo displayed before he died? I just want to know the symptoms to look for incase my birds act this way. Again, sorry for your loss. He was an awesome bird.

  • I love how "thermiscira" knows every damn thing about a bird he doesnt even know. Great job raising the bird KippTheKidd. I watched all your vids on him and its a shame he had to go. R.I.P. Leo

  • its not the cold. birds can survive in the cold

  • @peterlaz1 not all birds can,a bird whos originaly from a tropical place even if breed in a cold country has to be kept indoors, they will not survive a certain climates, ask a vet or buy a book on tropical birds,im not rying to argue,im just trying to educate about something i know about.if you dont agree its ok.iive done my research ,thats how i know.

  • @thermiscira watch wild parrots of telegraph hill mark bittner

  • @peterlaz1 yes like the name says WILD parrots not parrots born in captivity, wtf why is it you people cant understand?if you was raised in civilization and someone put you in a jungle to live for the rest of your life most likely you would die,but people who were born in the jungle are use to it,therefore knew can survive it ,do you still not get the point?

  • @peterlaz1 istead of arguing about something like this why dont you do some research on tropical birds?if they can live and survive in any climates then they would not be just in warm countries, they can fly ,they would fly to cold weathers like ducks do.just stop the back and fourth crap and go google tropical birs and read about if they can live in cold climates.

  • @thermiscira Stop talking out of your ass. It's obvious you're paranoid and scared for birds like a helicopter parent. Kipp treated Leo well despite what happened. If someone's good friend dies I don't go over and tell him what he could've done to save him while being unrighteous and insensitive. Also learn to read, Leo was indoors for the duration.

I'm sorry you have to put up with such ignorance in light of Leo's passing, Kipp. May he rest in peace.

  • @Tiennumidori ok people like you are obviously bored and have nothing better to do but argue for no reason, first you and your dum ass friend should learn how to take care of your pets.my concern is for the birds not for dum humans who thinks they know how to treat them when they cleary dont.ive had pet birds for the longest and ive never had one died on me .so i guess i can talk.i wasent insensitive to him i said i felt bad for what happened.if you read all my comments you would of seen that.

  • @thermiscira Obviously bored and have nothing better to do but argue for no reason? Go take a look in the mirror dude. It's obvious your dumb ass is not wanted here and the fact you're still here is an insult to Kipp and Leo. So if you have any decency, leave before you make yourself look like a bigger idiot. And nice insulting me in PM by the way. Real mature. Also lol at your "stranger danger" comment. Thanks for making kids more paranoid than they already are.

  • @Tiennumidori first of all you idiot im a woman not a dude second its assholes like you who think we live in a perfect world ,who are always missung kids or finding them dead somewhere.im not saying be paranoid im saying be careful theres a different you ass.grow the fuck up and move on.look how long ago i made the comment.i mean really ,you have no life, and makes no sense.so shut your face looser

  • @thermiscira There's a difference between being careful and being paranoid. And Kipp is a full grown adult with experience with birds, not a little boy. Go on and continue insulting me, it just makes you look like a bigger asshole. Also I don't give a damn enough to be looking through your info to figure out you're a female. Boohoo, deal with it. If you want to keep up this argument it shows how much of a bigger idiot you are.

P.S. Keep insulting me in PM. I love laughing at your pathetic self.

  • @Tiennumidori im not making kids paranoid ,people who thinks like mecare about kids and animals,if you had any sense you would realize maybe i was giving the boy some advice on how to tret his bird its up to him to take my advice ,i dident say he must listen .i mean really,is it that serious to you?wtf get a life already

  • @Tiennumidori oh wow so telling kids not to talk to strangers is being paranoid?omg ,i hope you dont have kids.people in their right minds tell their kids that.but you would not understand that because according to you we live in a perfect world where theres no bad people.lol what a dumb fk you are.lol stop talking crap and go find yourself.i think your lost.

  • @thermiscira Oh and since you like arguing about tropical birds, let me give you a piece of info: Yes Sun Conures are tropical birds. But they have evolved to handle colder weather since they are known to live in mountainous areas too. I'm a conure owner myself and I've let mine play around outside in cool weather with no problems for 3 years.

  • @Tiennumidori no one is arguing i was sinply showing kipp that as a bird lover sometimes people thinks they are doing the right thing for the bird when actually theyre not.hes a young kid ,taking advice from an adult who has conures would not be such a bad thing.and if you are a bird lover like you say ,you would realize i only said what i said out of concern for the bird.how does that make me a bad person?paranoid no just caring.i care about my birds as if they were my kids.

  • @thermiscira You may have good intentions, but try to see it from Kipp's point of view. It's like rubbing salt on his wounds. If you see his other videos you can see that he is quite experienced with Leo and even raised him from the beginning as a chick.

  • @Tiennumidori you know what your right i just get mad when i see any pet dies.if i came out wrong im sorry.i dident mean to make him feel bad.i was just trying to help him.you are right he doesent have to take my advice or agree with my opinion,im sorry.

  • @thermiscira Hey, it's cool. We tend to see birds as delicate and fragile, so we do everything we can to protect them. Leo died over a year ago so let's not bother Kipp about this any longer. Sorry about this whole thing.

  • @Tiennumidori and i have the right to speak my mind if he dident want people to comment on it he should of put it so we cant say our opinion.you have yours so do i.now live with it.thats life.and you said i was paranoid?is it paranoid when you tell your kids not to talk to strangers?wtf is your problem?get a clue

  • everyone who seems concern about your birds are being attacked by you we are just telling you for your own good,we are simply saying there are too many things that can go wrong by taking it outside to fly often.i dont think you met harm to your bird i think you taught you were doing what he wanted, but i know people who has pet birds who dont let them outside and they live for 30 something years.if they so unhappy being indoor then how come they live so long indoor?

  • @thermiscira - I never felt that Kippthekids (KTK)'s responses were attacking. KTK had received some ugly comments about his treatment of Leo, one of which I think was from me, but if you watch all of Leo's vids, you will see that he was a loved and well treated bird..

  • @verticalsmurf o god again with this ,let me make myself clear ,im speaking for me not the othe people attacking the owner.that bird yes i can see he was loved by the owners ,im simply an animal lover whos also concern for the animals.i know they met well, but im saying it can be avoid ,just take in concideration of listening to someones opinion,if you dont agree ask a vet.tropical birds cannot survive in certain climates.the little parrots in new york survive because they are native to argentina

  • @verticalsmurf where the weather is alot like ours.its only an advice ,i love birds and i truly feel bad for the owner ,why are you attacking me as if im to blame?i dont get it

  • maybe its because you took him outside too much, these birds are born in captivity, they cant be outside much,im sorry for your bird but i know what im talking about i have 2 of my own which i raised they trust and love me but they fly around the house ,they follow me everywhere in the house but not outside, they can get scared and just panic and fly away,or get sick,i know you mean well but you shouldent take it out so much

  • @thermiscira You don't know where he came from or how he was raised. You stated that he could get sick from perching on a branch and other nonsense that somehow applies to this "domestic" bird but doesn't apply to "wild" birds.

His parents lived in a massive outdoor aviary in Florida, (Florida is home to many wild conures too). He was outside every day as a fledgling and he went through lots of flight and recall training.

Search for "free flight parrot", it's more common than you think.
