  • My favorite is Sisko and Riker cracking up.

  • What were they laughing for at 0:22?

  • @weinmj Sisko either messed up his line or his left foot got caught in the base of the door. Hard to tell.

  • Was Quark consulting Odo before breaking something? At least, I'm assuming he's talking to the same Rene.

  • I love all things Star Trek and especially Deep Space Nine and Avery Brooks is awesome. That being said, Avery Brooks, who is awesome, has some really strange mannerisms. His little shakes and giggles are kinda wierd, but he's still awesome. That is all

  • 0:36. Crap. Quark just broke the Star Trek.

  • I would let Brooks to ravish me any time!

  • i want picard back ffs

  • @fukkuutube @fukkuutube only if you sleep with the person responsible for destroying the trek franchise JANEWAY . i think thats punishment enough ;)

  • @jaganar1

Wait, you think Janeway destroyed Star Trek? Did you miss the show who's ratings were so bad, they had to turn to literal T&A to try to get viewers up, and when it still sunk, they cancelled it?

It was after Enterprise they said they "think Star Trek needs a rest".

  • @Draknfyre RULE #1 of Trekfightclub NEVER MENTION BACULA.

that show right out the bat had HARDONS and nipples showing (sauna) #2 NEVER MENTION JANEWAY.

was in the theater for Nemisis and WEN she popped up everyone tossed food at the screen. so yeah.for them to give us a TEROK NOR movie we got shat on with a voyager series then followed by a campy harry hamlin enterprise series (i dont knw anyone who watched E after the first season btw)

  • @jaganar1

I always wanted a DS9 movie, but wouldn't it be kind of hard unless you had some whacky-ass return story because of the end episode?

  • @Draknfyre not necc :) you can always have it happen during the Dw or prior to the first shot of the dominion .

but to me we had a whole MIRROR universe to explore , like seeing Gowron being a bodyguard or having his arm chopped off by the hard core Kahless clone who had the sword due to the ferengi trading .

  • @Draknfyre and FYI i wanted a MIRROR MIRROR DS9 movie followed by an actual update to Ds9's story .

btw did you catch the nippleslip that DeBoer (ezri ) had in the first scene of the finale ??

  • @jaganar1

I frankly felt the Mirror universe was overused in DS9. By the third time a mirror copy came over, grabbed someone, and dragged them back, I was like "come on!"

Plus it would have confused the hell out of the non-Trekkie audience.

Never saw Ezri's nipple slip. You mean actual nipple, and not just a pokie? Paramount was pretty strict on constumes. Have to check for that.

  • @jaganar1

Ok, I found reference to it online, but no actual good pics. Checking the episode itself, I don't see it yet. Why would an actress go topless in such a scene? I would think they would wear pasties at least, since her breasts aren't meant to be seen. Maybe looking at the episode closer will show them.

  • @Draknfyre dude , she wasnt wearing pasties..(have no clue what those are ... im assuming its the tape they use on actresses , tho) its a very small nipple slip cus you see her right nipple (areola and all)

i hope they include everything in the BLU releases =3, including an actual alt ending for some endings .

and an interview with gowron an Kurn :)

  • @jaganar1

I looked at the video over and over again. I don't see anything. And yes, pasties are little circles they place over actresses nipples. The only thing I see mentioned is someone else saying it was tape. There is no reason for her to actually be topless (and pressed up against Basir like that) in the show. She's probably wearing tape, and it looks like a nipple to you.

  • @Draknfyre well see when i get it on BLU :) great to talk to u about it an im glad im not the only one who thinks it was the real deal .

they were reaching for the 3rd time but they have so much potential for it like KNOWING romulus /remus was conquered by the Klingon empire or that the Cardassians were the ones who went through the holocaust instead thats why kira is a bitch :)

  • You'll ravish me?! ...I might.

  • Lol, I love everyone tripping over the raised doorways. XD

  • @Sarandib22 That was actually mentioned in the episode Melora where the title character was criticizing Cardassian architecture and their need to have raised doorways.

  • I would ravish John de Lancie, no lie.

  • I still don't get what those two were laughing about - what did he say when he came out of the door?

  • Sisko was trying to say "by the time we have an open invitation..."

He messed up on the word "invitation"

  • @Energyone Yea, me neither. On another mirror of this vid people are saying Riker 'tripped', but I really don't see anything like that. I imagine one of them just missed a line completely or snickered and it just caused a giggle fit.

  • See that's why Q never went back to DS9. He found out that The Sisko could hand him his ass on a platter.

  • Nice homoerotic moment at the end...!

  • I'll ravish Q.

  • The Q and Sisko blooper absolutely slays me! Good stuff - fun times:)

  • "Or what? You'll ravish me?!"

    lmao

  • What happend with Riker ??? It looks dangerous.........!

  • @Bramborail I think he tried to go through the door before it was completely open

  • i love major kiras laugh

  • It's a shame that the 2000's haven't been able to match 90's sci-fi's. Fringe or Flash Forward doesn't even come close to a captivating script or acting.

  • "Or what, you'll ravish me?"

    "I might."

    Hahaha!

  • lol I love Avery Brooks

  • Benjamin Sisko pwns Picard & Janeway. He punched out Q, for goodness' sake...

  • "Or what? You'll ravish me?!?".... "Oh, I'm sorry"

    "Well never miiind"

  • where the scenes with Jonathan Frakes the episode with Thomas Riker pretending to be Will Riker?

  • LMAO

    I might...

  • -Ah, Rene?

    -Yes?

    -Can I do this?

    -Yes.

    *Breaks something*

    -"Oh s***"

    Awesome stuff.

  • 0:44 ROFL!!! xD!!

  • DS9 rocked, and Avery Brooks was AWESOME! Love him!

  • That's why I preferred him over Picard and Kirk -- he could be passionate about things without sounding over the top like Kirk.

I loved DS9 too -- best series, especially since it's too real. I'm cynical by nature and I think Roddenberry's vision of our future world, even if it turns out well in real life, is optimistic to the point of foolishness or naivete.

  • Why is it that every time I think I'm going to see something cool on a blooper reel, it's just actors laughing for no reason?

  • I'D ravish him.

  • "What'll you do, ravish me?"

    "I might."

    Awesome.

  • @Danskoe That was actually perfectly in character for Q to say.

  • @Danskoe wonder what Q would do? "you ravished me, Piquard never ravished me!"

  • @Danskoe Aaaand - Slash fic!

  • despite the "overacting", brooks was great on ds9.

  • "Overacting" or not, I love Brook's performances. Especially when he gets angry like in season 5's "for the uniform". ;-)

  • Or against Leyton, though I agree against Eddington was the best -- he thought he was bluffing, ha! He WILL stop you, traitor, no matter the cost.

  • Anyone who prefers Janeway over Sisko is either a chick or an idiot.

  • well that was pretty sexist...and I happen to be a 'chick' and prefer Sisko and Picard to Janeway.

  • Yeah, that was seriously bigoted. It's on par with saying, "Anyone who likes Sisko is either black or an idiot."

I like all the captains for different reasons, but I think they could have dialed down the drama.

  • Why did he get two pluses? See, that's what's wrong with people in the world! People support ignorant racist assholes like him and yet wonder WHY things in the world are so bad!

Personally, I liked Sisko, though I also thought Odo was good too and the whole Dominion concept. I wonder... who WOULD win between the Borg and the Dominion?

  • mate ure so right to much racism in the world today

  • me 2

  • @Cocknockerofl then I guess I'm an idiot to you, because I'm female and I like Janeway as well... GROW UP!

  • it was nice to have a black character on star trek who wasnt some sterile politically correct black character. sorry if it was displeasing to you.

  • My opinion has nothing to do with the character of Sisko being black. It only has to do with what I see as Brooks' overacting. It is sometimes painful to watch.

  • I agree, sometimes Brooks went over the top with it, but, for the most part, he was good.

  • Shatner was KING of the over the top but that didn't stop people from loving Kirk. Truth is Brooks also delivered plenty of powerful, quiet and even subtle moments during his time on DS9. A great actor playing a great character.

  • @supdawg9999999 Displeasing? Quite the opposite. Thanks for pointing that out!

  • @supdawg9999999

He just fitted the role, i dont think black or white. He just fitted the role on DS9.

  • @supdawg9999999 the few times they did the race thing it was pretty forced and quite stupid. avery didn't really have it in him for those episodes. he mostly had the spenser: for hire hawk character thing going well for ds9

  • @supdawg9999999 I don't think Worf was a sterile, politically-correct character.

  • Comment removed

  • @supdawg9999999 It was nice to have characters period who werent sterile politically correct characters. DS9 made me like Trek again. I hated TNG. No human beings from any century would act the way those characters did. DS9 gave Trek humans their humanity back. Flaws and all.

  • @supdawg9999999 I totally agree with you that it was great to have a real, three-dimensional black captain. And I loved that he dealt with not just interstellar matters but with stuff like fatherhood, having a girlfriend, etc.

But I've got to ask, was Geordi any more sterile or politically correct than any of the other stars of TNG? As far as I am concerned they were all pretty bland compared to the main characters of DS9. I don't think Geordi was 'singled out' to be 'sterile' because of race.

  • I liked Avery Brooks. My least fave was the chick who played Troi. Garrett Wang played his part well, he wasn't given much to work with. Best DS9 characters were Garek and Quark. Best TNG characters were Picard and Data. Best Voyager characters were Tuvok and the Doctor.

  • ....or what...YOU'LL RAVISH ME?? :P

  • I might.

  • Pahahaa!! :D

  • And who says we're supposed to say how Avery is supposed to be Sisko? He portrayed Sisko has how he felt he should. He did a fine damn job of it to. They all did. Wang brought an innocence that's rather appealing to Voyager. I honestly can't think of one bad character throughout the entire Star Trek series ( all of them ). So it could very well be that you people are just hating for the sake of hating on something. Am I a fanboy? I'm a fan yes, but not a fanatical one.

  • The Enterprise cast were great I thought, except for Linda Park. Avery was great at angry! Damn could Sisko get angry. Harry Kim is hands down the worst character to ever grace the Star Trek screen, well, him and Neelix. Voyager in general I thought was bad

  • Thank you. I agree, that each actor brought something to their characters, and even if we have our faves, no reason to denigrate the actors for doing their jobs, and well I might add.

  • Ya know, people are certainly entitled to their opinions...and Brooks certainly COULD go overtheatrical at times...But there were plenty of other times during the series that his perfomances, his delivery, his body language was a work of art. He WAS Sisko, in every way.

  • John de Lancie is funny.

  • Oh come on don`t be so hard on Avery...

Nevertheless, it was a good show, I like DS9 most of all.

  • Definitely the strongest of the series.

  • Sisko is such a legend!!

  • Haha, because the colour's that faded on the tapes, it looks like there wearing the military grey uniforms in the first season!

  • Too bad they never made a ds9 movie.

  • indeed

  • double indeed

  • A lack of visibility on the Hollywood scene is not evidence of a lack of acting ability. If you research his theatrical performances you will see critical acclaim & awards for his numerous roles.

  • I thought Wang of Voyager was the all time worst Star Trek actor. I think Beltran was second worst. Avery did over act, but I'd still rather watch his sisko than Chuckles or Kim. Blech.

  • I thought Wang was poor...in the bottom half, but not as bad as...well Brooks, Mcfadden, Sirtis...his character was also completely bland but that wasn't his fault. I never minded Beltran! Nope, I have to leave Brooks at the bottom for me and it's a distant last! lol.

  • Turning too much water into Romulan Ale have you. Clouded your judgemnt has it. The Rutger's professor was the best actor on that fine show.

  • I agree. He's a great actor. I didn't know he was a professor at Rutgers.

  • Totally agree, he over acted through out the series, very Shakespearean style of acting as if he was on stage, Picard was similar but not as bad imo.

  • Ahahaha, ravish me. XD

  • I was thinking exactly the same about Q. But he is the old generation.

  • The guy playing Sisko seems like a really cool person.

  • I just wish if they bring out DS9 on HD they include LOADS of previously unseen out-takes because it's so rare!

  • don't think they shot the series in HD back in those days...

  • It's shot on Film, so it can be rescanned in HD (in 4:3 with black borders)

  • @Titan9999 The film is most capable of HD; the Visual FX scenes would have to be re-done, though.

  • @WWIIOLgeorgh, only if it was actually recorded on film, of course...

  • @Titan9999 They can digitally enhance it.

  • @siccoyote

I can't understand why DS9 was not shot in HD. I know that HD was not available to the public but I am Certain that even back when DS9 was first filmed Paramount DID have HD technology , had foreknowledge of the HD and aspect ratio transition and Could have used it. It is not like the 16:9 aspect ratio and HD resolution developed overnight. Either way If paramount for once would show the trek fans that they care, then they will set it straight.

  • @jacobshrews207

No they didn't. The technology didn't exist until the very very end of the series, and even then it wasn't available yet.

  • I like the fact that in the first one you can hear Kira laughing...

  • When you put in that much hard work, you just have to laugh sometimes, ya' know?

  • That's Kira laughing.

  • The first part where Riker falls out the door, is that Troi laughing?

  • No, that's Nana Visitor laughing. That blooper is from the DS9 episode "Defiant" because that was the only episode of DS9 that Jonathan Frakes appeared in.

  • "An open dick!?"

    "'Ravish me?' 'I might!'"

  • TOTALLY random!

  • ROFLMAO!!! They sure do have lots of fun on those sets! XD

  • haha lmfao! "Or what, you'll ravish me?"

    "I might..."

  • What was de Lancie supposed to say there? Punish?

  • Ravage, there's a difference :)

  • He meant what was he supposed to say for the line.

  • Ravage, meaning attack, rather than ravish, meaning attack, sexually.

  • U did good

  • I thought he was actually supposed to say "thrash", though "ravage" is certainly closer.

  • YEAH!HAHA!
