Regardless of people's inability to rationalize the bigotry they inadvertently express when they assume that Iraqi's are somehow less capable of managing themselves, Julian Assange very clearly lays out the crimes committed by the U.S. We should also remember that this is a story told from the perspective of the U.S. occupying militia (the documents, after all, were leaked by someone from the military).
Julian Assange is a great man. We haven't seen his kind of defiance against oppression and tyranny since the days of Ben Franklin and Thomas Jefferson!
@Strutinan to be fair, there are many intellectuals and journalists alive today who have made it their mission to expose injustices, and to reveal the truth to the public e.g., Amy Goodman, Noam Chomsky, Norman Finkelstein, Daniel Ellsberg, Arundhati Roy, John Pilger, etc.
