Your assumpts of making tracks in 15 minutes is downright absurd. This band obviously performs live with real instruments, as do many others of the genre. It also takes some skill to even produce tracks even worth noting, and I doubt 15 minutes can suffice.

I can agree with you that ABR is a good band in such a shitty genre (other bands of metalcore come to mind, like TDWP, AILD, maybe Underoath), and TC is alright (not a fan of melodic, more into mathcore and deathcore)..

@Sykmos how "good" the music actually is. i like good music and i like bad music. this happens to be bad music that i do not like. i base my definition of good and bad on how much talent it takes to make the music. making shitty beats on a computer and adding one lined, unoriginal vocals to it is bad. its barely music. its just noise that entertains. drake, lil wayne, wiz, hannahmontana, (tons of other shitty mainstream artists) shouldnt be allowed to call what they do "music." including this.

@DPMAN2424 ... but making assumpts based on a select few of bands is not smart. You need to open your mind to other genres. Indie, avante-garde, experimental, dubstep, house, Drum and bass, even classical and jumpstyle.

And when you speak of screams, me and you may think they take talent, but to other people who are not familiar with the genre they will not. You are not familiar with this genre, so it is the same scenario. Vox only adds to the genre because part of its basis is in electronica.

Mainstream music is mass produced and overproduced, hence why it is mostly crap. This is far from being mainstream (the whole industrial/goth movement is mostly the same). There are other assortments of this genre that are much better than this band, but to make an assumption on the whole genre because of one is ignorant.
