  • this video is awful. the fact that u think u don't need extra calories to build muscle is moronic. plus, ur probably around 170lbs, so why the hell should anyone listen to u? keep on bulking

  • BOLLOCKS ! If you think you can "gain" muscle and lose bodyfat at the same time without eating an excess of calories above what is required to maintain your weight.... then GOOD LUCK... you will not build a gram of muscle. This video is complete bullshit. To build serious muscle, you need to train hard, rest harder, and eat big (quality carbs, protein, and plenty of water).

  • is there a limit on how much fat your body can burn in a week and if you eat below your bmr and gain muscle. dont get me wrong i eat 100% clean take a vit and want to increase my loss to 2lbs a week. Im at 23% bf after working hard for over 2 months 6 days straight

  • Do you people actually think that when you say "building muscle" that any actual building is taking place? No new cells are created. Like ever. Hyperplasia has not been observed in humans past pubescent growth. All that happens is an inflation of the muscle tissue that leads to greater storage of glycogen, water (mostly) and protein. If you are able to recover from your workout and get stronger, that's all the food you need. If you gain fat, then obviously that's excess energy.

  • this is dumb, forget calories...food in general=energy, if u wna start building muscle, work out crazy hard and eat like every 3 hours...including carbs and a ton of protein and water

  • You should eat an excess of 500 calories a day this way you gain a pound in 1 week. If you workout this will turn into muscle not fat. Also keep in mind that this excess 500 cals should be good ones lol. Check out my profile for a link to an article that covers a great workout program. I gained almost 30 pounds in half a year using these methods.

  • flaw!! muscles take calories to build. If you are burning fat to build muscle, where do the required calories to build the muscle come from? Fat is not equal to muscle, one cant convert one into the other. You need extra calories, just the kind of calories you take in are what are important. COMPLEX CARBS AND PROTEIN. Body fat isnt the main source of energy, this guy is bullshit

  • Good video. One thing you could add in as well is that the body builders who do use steroids look pretty bad out of season. You probably don't want to emulate them unless you only want to look good a few days per years.
