Yeah a bum who is the player with the second most rushing yards in a single season and was only 39 yards away from breaking Eric Dickerson's record. And held the record for most yards in a game until Adrian Peterson broke it by one yard. (296 for Peterson vs. 295 for Lewis), He might not be a good person but he is a damn good football player. Oh and he has a Super Bowl ring.

That Brings up a good point. Every Running Back needs Blockers, and the only reason Davis wasn't one of the top 5 running backs was because he had newer players around him. More importantly, he had a new offensive line, wich could really affect a running back's season. I'm glad we got such a steal so late in the rounds.

i hope clemson is smart enough to give the ball to davis appropriately...he has the ability to take over any game, he will not be denied. if they first make sure to let davis establish himself each game, he will be the constant they need all season to ensure there are no foolish letdowns. The other facets of the offense will explode upon a young but talented o-line that begins to dominate as they gain confidence behind davis' stability and greatness.
