You can't call UW mediocre anymore. This is not the same husky team as last year or the past few seasons. The culture at UW has changed. It was apparent when LSU had to grind out a win against the huskies. UW is much improved this year, and they will finish at least .500.

I love LSU football more than my 2 ex wives and I know my college ball. I told my son even before spring drills that the one team besides ole miss that scares the hell out of me was washington (our opener). I knew that they were dangerous because of a great nfl bound qb and a tradition. Far as USC is concerned I will never forgive pete carrol for whining the bcs into making our 03 national championship team share the title. GEAUX TIGERS!!!!

The FSU-BYU game had me intrigued as a Sooner fan. It didn't make me think Miami will throttle us because they laid it on FSU, but it made me realize how we completely pissed that game away..

Since then, Landry has been a nice surprise. Miami will be the big test, of course. But I feel more confident than I did a few weeks ago.

The Huskies arent mediocre they're the 24th ranked team in the country now. Theres a reason USC doesnt go undefeated in the Pac-10 every year. The Pac-10 is a tough conference.

Jake Locker is NO JOKE. He, if he stays for his senior year, will be a top QB in the draft. They are telling him to stay in the pocket unless necessary, then run. Which makes the Defense try to keep a line backer ready, so he can hit locker if he decides to scramble. leaves a possible TE open to pass to. Look at Locker compared to Tebow, not on stats, but on poise, stance, and release of the ball. Tebow may be a great college player, but Locker will be much better in the next level.

i agree...i'm really surprised that so called "experts" are so blinded by their east coast bias as to over look the Pac 10 as a legit conference..shouldn't it say something when pretty much all the Pac-10 teams clean house against top tier nonconference teams but stay competitive against each other? "Pac 10 has been down for years"? The Pac 10 went undefeated in bowl games last year!

Because Big Ten & SEC teams don't do home and home series. they only meet in bowl games, which are almost always held in the south. So it's always a road game for Big Ten teams vs SEC teams. While Ohio State hasn't had much luck against SEc teams. Michigan has beaten SEC terams in bowl games. Michigan beat Teabow and the Gators a couple of seasons ago.

Let these southern teams come up north and play, and we'll see what happens!

USC is the p4p most overrated school in the nation. Every year people act like their the greatest team in football and they choke. The whole Pac-10 is overrated. All of the Pac-10 rats ride USC's bandwagon because that's all they got, but they shit on the SEC even thought we have 4 of the last 6 titles. While USC/Pac-10 only have one title in 11 years(even thought they got a bullshit tie when LSU won the title game)

Every year USC is booked as the greatest team of year, they're are awarded a top 5 spot every year and they let a nobody beat team. USC plays maybe 2 or 3 games against ranked teams every year, and they don't have to play a conference title game. and its not that hard to win a bowl game when its basically a home game against a Big 10 team which is also weak.
