@blacknish88 You sound like a newbie. Your chaingun doesn't overheat if you go fast enough. The idea being that the wind speed cools down the gun. Less heat means tighter cone of fire. And you can see the heat meter go up in the video, too.

@graydoubt cuz when i use the default rets, they appear huge, (like much bigger than yours). my screen res is 1280x800. does that have a big impact?

@germhed I tend to play at 1680x1050 (16:10). Some of my other clips are recorded at 1280x768 (16:9) to be more YouTube friendly. I don't think it makes a big impact. It's whatever you're more comfortable with or used to.

The physics in legions allow the Chiangun to heat more slowly when you go fast... Also hes a good aimer

The bar indicates how much your chaingun is overheating. The faster you move, the more the air cools it down. At higher speeds (when I chase at around 160ish or so and faster), it doesn't overheat at all anymore. The Chainsaw class cools down faster, too, I think, but I prefer Rocketeer.

I replaced the original flag sounds with custom ones I had made for Tribes 2. The original sounds are too quiet, in my opinion. I prefer to have someone be all up in my face when they take my junk. flagawareness++
