I don't care what everyone else is saying but your cover brought a tear to my eye. So what if the meaning behind this song is a little obscured? The emotion that you bring to this cover, especially at the end, is astounding. The best musicians are the ones who can take a song they admire and bring a new meaning to it and make it their own. You know, some of these comments are exhausting. Gavin writes his own songs. I heard his albums first and that's what led me to his YouTube channel. So he covers songs. He's trying to get his name out there. Sadly, without a familiar song attached to his name, he won't get much play because no one knows who he is. So, this song isn't the same as the original. But it has his own flair and passion, and it's beautiful even if it does sound less raw and emotional than Bon Iver's stunning original.
