  • Expect to blow those

  • Great system, doing the same thing with my Chevy silverado, I'm jw why didn't you put the amp in the amp spot on the box? Haha. Good set up though.

  • @Sportsfannick the slit in the middle isnt an amp spot... Thats the Port...

  • nice, my car has all kenwood excelon speakers with 2 kenwood subs and a 1800watt monoblock kenwood amp and a 1200 watt multichannel amp. its loud ASS FUCK!

  • Wow you had a good one on that.

  • Chujowo to pierdzenie a nie bas :(

  • Don't worry about a fire theres firewall under the carpet of the seats its pretty damn hard to get that s'not burning from heat alone

  • systems alright but your a retard for putting that amp right against the seat ur jus gonna start a fire or jus completely melt it so u might wanna change that

  • @camillesboy Lol...I've had the system for nearly two years and no fires with the amp in the exact same position...sooo....um...yeah.

  • @ArmoredPersonel48698 would you recomend these subs? cause there only 78 bucks and i want something that will hit hard and last a while

  • وي وي يامجنون << داخل غلط

    \yuo are crezy

  • ur system is nice, i got the kenwood headunit, door speakers, and the newest version of the 12 inch subs. front door speakers have 300 watt amp, and the subs got 2600 watts of power. this is all in a single cab truck, and it fuckin pounds.

  • @Mikebue11 They're good subs. They make one hell of a good starter sub. Mine have been beat all to hell, and they still hit pretty hard. I have to baby them nowadays due to that. Oh well, time to upgrade. :D

  • can you install 2 kenwood kfc w3012 and kenwood kac 8105d into an acura tl?

  • @JL92994 If the alternator and battery can support it.

  • @ArmoredPersonel48698 War eagle!

    t(-.-)t

  • the box is not the right size i believe

  • love kenwood..love ya system ...i envy you

  • @33joeboy33 As much as I love the Kenwoods, they've got to go soon. Suspensions are way to loose and I've beat on them way to much. Time for and upgrade.

    *insert evil laugh*

  • jesus christ.. talk about motion sickness...

  • Fukk Dude Are yu on Crackk..!! Stay Still...But Nice Setup

  • Crapy sond.....

  • what's better, one of these or a Q Power QP-SILVER15 15inch?

  • Im getting one of those subs..Do you think a 700 watt amp is enough?

  • @Flysohighx21 is that 700 max if so it should put out 350 rms if its a very efficient amp. It will push the subwoofer, absolutley. I had one of these in a sealed pre fab box on 600+rms and people thought i had two twelves running on 600 watts rms. Just make sure you know what your doing get the right amp and box. oh and dont lower the ohms on the subwoofer ever if the amp is stable lower than the subwoofer.

  • I would invest in some window tint haha

  • i had two of these with a kenwood x1200m running 1200rms at 2 ohms... they were pretty decent but dropped bottom ALOT

  • I'm not gonna rate the quality because I have two and the same amp plus another 1250 amp for my inside speakers a crossover and a capacitor and I dont think it hits as hard as it should! Now I been told it hits harder that I think it does and in the summer I got pulled over by the police and they were a block behind me I don't know I need more than 400 watts rms I'm going with fi's there 2000 watts rms! He's young he's got a better set up then the average person

  • k your setup isnt bad for the money...but its sooooo weak haha upgrade man. diggin the deck though i need a new one....

  • dude i just got 2 of those kenwood kfc-w3012's 1200 watt and a kac-9105d 1800 watt class D mono amp in the back of my ford ranger extended cab and they hit like crazy

  • @Lambrogini11 i have the same exact thing. im waiting for it to come in the mail. do they bump hard? i love bass :D

  • how much are those?

  • @215rant i spent about 500$ on the stuff i have when it was brand new and on sale

  • Nice setup, bigger amp tho i just blew mnbe cus i had them wired at 2 ohm. No big deal i do miss them tho they sounded great and theyre good low budget subs. They can handle 400 rms i put 450 to each and thats the end of them lol

  • @bigd077770 I put 450 to each and I've been pounding them for over a year now and they're just now starting to show signs of abuse.

  • do you go to pinecrest highschool?

  • @matteddy43 I used to...graduated Class of 2010.

  • mejor ponle un brutus hifonics ise oiramejor

  • @ArmoredPersonel48698 Haha lucky man! I graduate in 2014.. Lol but our high school is bad ass so I am enjoying it :) Oh and nice subs you got there! I am thinking of getting one for my suburban.

  • your system is really nice but your car is really gay.

  • sealed is louder!!

  • damn dude, did you do this yourself? or professional? even though it sounds like you used your phone to record looks good and sounds legit

  • Your not ugly at all

  • You spend all that money and take all the time and effort to install that to do what - play distorted sounds? That's not music. But then you're probably not interested in music - just thumpa-thumpa sounds and vibrating body panels. Hopefully you'll grow out of it.

  • @briguy1971 it probably doesnt sound like that in person. blow into the microphone of a camera and play the audio back. it will be all muffled and cracking cause the audio levels are too loud for the camera to adjust so it clips the audio. its the same thing with bass. it gets too loud with too much air pressure and shit and it causes the audio to clip like a bitch.

  • @briguy1971 its the camera mic not his system hopefully youll grow into technology and realize not everybody wants a dumb ass like u crying

  • @AlexanderLeDoux

C'mon man, no reason to harp on people that don't see the fun in bass.

He knows it is the camera mic, he is saying he hates bass...

    Also, ported it louder. :D

  • @thierryanna Thanks for your input.

  • Yup, white country boy thinking he's an urban "gangsta." And what's the point of hearing that crap 20-30 feet away? Just so you an impose yourself on other people? Make you feel powerful or something?

  • @briguy1971 In response to both of your posts, last I checked, this video was recorded with my phone. Secondly, the shit wasn't tuned at the time. Thirdly, you ain't got shit on your channel. Why don't you, get a job, get a camera, get a car and/or system, record something, and then prove that my system is shit. I didn't buy this to blast people's hair around.

  • @briguy1971 Actually no. Us "white country boys" just happen to like this music. We aren't trying to act "gangsta" and no we aren't trying to "impose" or make us feel "powerful" we just like the sound. So get over it.

  • @cburchell58 I listen to damn near anything. I'll play rock, hip-hop, old school hip-hop, R&B, etc. Yes, I listen to more Hip-Hop than us white people should listen to, but I don't care. Car audio is a hobby for me. Gotta do something to keep me from going crazy.

  • deez subs bang fo tha buck... i had two then got 4 man i love em.. den dey got jaked

  • nice setup!.. i have 10 speakers all around the durango and looking for a nice sub setup.. im either going Kenwood or Rockford P3s.. what you guys recommend?? ive had more use with rockfords but really looking into kenwoods now.. never owned kenwood subs

  • @comandercool101 kenwood is good just try something new.

  • aha. damn, tint is a forsure. anyways, fuck that dragon guy, doesnt know what hes talking about. i had the same stuff, but only one and it rocked but sadly i was mudding and i kinda ripped the styrofoam (spelling?) around it. but the amp is 1000 watt max, and it slams so hard. love kenwood

  • @BRETTWARD1 They're good subs. Lately I've been pushing them hard as hell. Pushed them a little to hard on my way home from school today. Started to smell a burning coil former. Gotta love the smell of hot smoking electronics.

  • @ArmoredPersonel48698 Haha oh yess. especially the smell of new subs breaking in

  • @BRETTWARD1 If you smell burning electronics, with no smoke, you're doing it right in my opinion. People come to me to break their stuff in.

  • @ArmoredPersonel48698 Yeah same here. and well shit, you making money off that??

  • @BRETTWARD1 Nah...I generally do it for fun. Keeps me entertained and out of the house.

  • hold fuckin camera mazafucka ! shake it like fuckin psych ! cant see anything !

  • Nice setup man. You need some tint to hide those beasts, don't want them stolen ha.

  • @yismaster ain't that the fucking truth. Lol. I'm thinking between 15 and 20 on the back windows and 35 up front. Don't want to go as dark as 5 on the back, although I wouldn't mind it at all.

  • @DragonWagon6 Go take your bullshit elsewhere man. You have nothing to say considering you have no proof in regards to a system. How do you know what kenwood sounds like when you don't even have a system? If you do, prove me otherwise by posting something. And to call me gay? Lol. That's original. I play what I want, I couldn't give two shits what you think about the song. Go back to your basement, so that mommy can feed you.

  • @DragonWagon6 That's nice to know.

  • i had the exact one and it pounded my ears out lol

  • i just put kenwood in my silver Cr-V too lol

  • We have the same system minus the head unit very nice

  • a sealed box sounds better with these

  • yup imma make one too once i get my capacitor cuz i dont wanna fuck another alternator and battery.

  • @ElTunerBoi I can't wait until I get a new alternator and a bigger battery. :D Can't wait until I can afford my next system. 2 18s on 1500W.

  • @ArmoredPersonel48698 thats way to much for me man.. ur going to need noise canceling headphones man, a friend of mine cant hear very good now cuz of the system he had, way to loud. well good luck with ur 18s

  • @ElTunerBoi Haha, way ahead of you on that. Already got a few pairs here at the house.

  • @ArmoredPersonel48698 finally uploaded a video of my kenwoods check em out

  • @ElTunerBoi should make it a video response.

  • i got those subs and i know they do better than that, i got em hooked up on a rockford fosgate 800a2 amp and they sound amazing shakes the seats n shit, Play this songs swing my door by gucci mane, and ride on 4s by j dawn then ill guarantee u they,ll really bump. that wasnt a very good song

  • @ElTunerBoi Subs were tuned back during this video not to mention I didn't know many songs that had good bass back then. Just picked a song and played it. I've gotta start doing some more videos.

  • Only problem I see is that it looks like your box is too deep and you might be losing some power. I currently have 2 3012 12"s and a KAC-8104D amp which I am going to upgrade to the 1800 watt one you have. I also need to upload my 8 gauge power/ground to 4 gauge or possibly 1/0 gauge. Nice set up though

  • @gOpAcKfAn7 the 9104D (I don't know what the new model is) doesn't take 1/0 gauge. 4 gauge maximum.

  • i have the 3012's 12 inch subs, i cant wait to put them in with my 800 watt kenwood amp// sealed box and 4 gauge setup..vids to come soon.

  • you didn't handle camera properly

  • @tarunprad Lulz, okay.

  • Who really cares if alpines are the best? You can get 2 of these for 100 Bucks on eBay, while you can barely get 1 cheap alpine sub for that much... 2 Ken's are way louder than 1 Alpine.

Nice set-up bro. Sounds great. Just ordered 2 for myself today. :D

  • @ShamPainShower Thank you. Kenwood's, are great for their price. Best bang for the buck if you ask me. Only reason why it ran me a little under one grand was due to the fact that I had to buy the tools, and I bought everything with the extended warranty. Damn glad I did. Means I can push them all day everyday and if something goes poof, I can ship it off and get a new one for like 3 years. :D

Let me know how your system goes and post a video of it if you can. Video response...ftw.

  • @ArmoredPersonel48698 Kenwood's are for sure the best budget Subs. Solid brand and not many stories of blowing them unless your a complete dumb ass. Lmfao

I'll for sure post a Vid response. May not be that soon, I'm still looking for an amp, and it's looking like I'm gonna build my own enclosure. Did you buy your box or is it custom? Thanks.

  • @ShamPainShower I bought it. Didn't have the time nor the wherewithal to make my own. And I actually blew one. Sent to Kenwood, it was a faulty sub. Go figure. But damn, gotta love warranties.

I love 'em. Sound good, hit hard for their size and price, and they're durable as hell. I played some of the hardest hitting bass through them I could find. They took it like champs. Not some 10 second burp of music. I'm talking about 30 solid minutes of torture.

  • @ShamPainShower Actually, you can get one 12" Alpine Type R for about 100$. And 1 Type R actually hits harder than 2 kenwoods

  • @ChrisGugliuzza I would like to see your proof for that one. I can guarantee it doesn't.

  • @ShamPainShower My friend had 1 12" Alpine, now he has two. I also have 1 12" Alpine. We compared it to my friend's 2 Kenwoods( one guy had 2 10's and one had 2 12's) We all agreed that the Alpines hit harder(and it wasn't pushing the limit either) The alpines also hit harder than my friend's Kickers

  • @ChrisGugliuzza Your tests are flawed though. You are forgetting the amp plays a large role in how hard they hit and how they sound. Keep trying.

  • @ShamPainShower Did I mention what amps we all used? I use a Kenwood 1000 Watt Mono D Block, @ 500 Watt at 2ohms. The kenwood is rated at only 400 watts I believe.

  • @ChrisGugliuzza If you are using the same amp as my friend, Which I am guess, It is 300 Rms in which case you are not giving the sub near enough the power that it takes. The type R is 500rms. Also, Kenwood amps are quite terrible. Thats also probably all you could afford though. If you think you have such a great sub, why would you buy a half ass amp that can't even push it properly?

  • @ShamPainShower What are you talking about? My amp is 1000 watts and gives out 500 watts at 2ohms. And why are you bashing on how much I can afford? What, you want me to buy a $1000 amp to just power one sub? Get real. I have a Ford mustang, I'm not sure what car you have, but most people get expensive audio for their POS car. Also, I'm not being cocky about my sub, it's just well known in the car audio world that the type R is probably the best for its price. Reason why theyre 2x price of ken's

  • kenwood has a better quality sound than alpine but alpine is louder

  • you got the same deck as me in this vid . lol. gotta love it too

  • yo i just got a 12 inch 400 watt rms kenwood sub for 60$

  • nice man i just got these today

  • @ITPsandstar I love 'em. Best bang for the buck if you ask me. Can't get much better for the price you pay for them. Great for a budget system when Sony's just wont get the job done. :D

  • too much money spend and didnt even vibrate rain off the front windshield...in a CRV? guess somebody has to buy kenwoods stuff, go alpine!

  • @bashboyblueangel haha...wow. This system isn't designed to rip the car to pieces.

  • dude nice....but no Alpines the best

  • @esk1m0bob Haha...okay.

  • CRV is the way too go man!! u think a sealed box would sound good in a crv? also how much did u pay for ur whole system? (head unit, subs, box, amp, and those speakers + all the little bullshit u gotta buy for setup)

  • @CALIbudz1523 Sure. A sealed box will give you tighter and cleaner bass. And how much? About 1 grand. Bought it all with extended warranties. :D

  • theres my old shit haha anyways i got myself a 12" 3012 and that fucking retard down there is stupid xplod doesnt have any excursion at al i got a shitty slim one for 50 bucks its origanly like 96 at best buy and it sucks ass another thing i got my kenwood hooked to my kenwood reciver and its gettin about 100 wats = total bull shit but it bangs SOOO loud excursion doesnt matter at all jew

  • @lolerproductions Motor force, surface area, power handling, and the box are the biggest contributors. But the excursion is key for hitting the lows well.

  • do you really have to change your front speaker to put sub on your car?

  • @uniqueforreal Nope.

  • god kenwood subs are a waist of money id rather have xplod atleast xplod has 1- 1.5 inches of excursion

  • @GEARHEADGUY92 The W3012 has over 1 inch of full excursion. 13.8mm one way. And, show me which model has over 1 inch of excursion. All I see is 6mm.

  • whats the rms to each sub

  • @DJsnow187 400-450...if I remember correctly.

  • Lol its ok dude i was just asking. what kind of subs would you recommended ?

  • are kenwoods that good?

  • @Monte24s Sorry for not responding quickly, but, to answer your question...Kenwood's are nice. They're a good mid-line sub. Good for a basic system, but there's no way in hell I'd use them in a competition. They heat up fast, and are prone to bottoming out. They definitely don't like the lowest notes. But if you tune your amp and head unit right, and drop them in a fairly good box, they aren't half bad. Not the best, and CERTAINLY not the worst. Hope that helps.

  • @ArmoredPersonel48698 what would you recommend that is cheaper but hits harder than this thou? cause i wanna buy these but the old kfc-w3011's sound pretty good too? which one?..

  • @sxymotoracer7 Browse the web. I haven't looked at budget sub's in a LONG time. Setting my sights on some quality products at the moment. I'd avoid the W3011's as they are the older models of the 3012. But either or works. Same power handling (I think), just a tad different.

  • nice

  • you sponsored by kenwood or what

  • i also have the same setup, geek sqaud tuned mine but the subs seem to not be able to pick up the real lows too well, same problem with any of u guys?

  • @Adonut319 I tuned mine myself. Check the LPF on your amp and headunit. Also, check the bass boost.

  • @ArmoredPersonel48698 well can u give me the info so i can switch? thanks

  • @Adonut319 Huh?

  • nice setup eventually once I get my career on track id like to go full kenwood you can check my videos out to see everything in my car but im very satisfied with the kenwood 12" yours sounds real good

  • hey man i have the same setup as you...i was wondering what you have your lpf frequency, bass boost and input sensativaty set at thanks denny.....

  • @DENNY2222 I'd have to move some stuff around to figure out what it's set at. If I get the chance, I'll let you know. The boost isn't set that high, I know that much.

  • @DENNY2222 Yo i have the same setup as well. Only difference is i have an 1800 watt amp. All i can tell you is that i keep the bass boost on both my ipod and deck completley off. I have already blown a fuse and that was without any bass boost. Its unecccesary really. I just bought a bigger fuse tho so i can keep crankin it!

  • @cola141414 If you're running an 1800W RMS amp, you're going to fry your subs. 1800/2 = 900W which is 500 more than what the subs are rated for. You're seriously pushing it.

And yeah, I had to upgrade my fuse when I got my new battery. Haven't posted a video of that yet. Haha.

  • @ArmoredPersonel48698 not 1800 rms dumbass

  • @kevinthematthews Didn't say it was. If I did, point it out.

  • @ArmoredPersonel48698 it was a reply to you saying if you were running 1800 rms to the subs they'd blow you were talking to cola141414 he wasn't talking about rms. i hate when people talk about peak power makes their systems sound good when they really aren't. sry about the misunderstanding

  • @kevinthematthews Ah...thanks for the clear up.

  • Hey man i have the same setup as you two kfc-3012 subs, and a kac-9104d amp.I was wondering how you have yours wired, and what you have your input sensativaty, bass boost, and lpf frequincy set at...

    Thanks,Denny....please help....thanks again....

  • and i have the same amp as you the 1800 watt

  • @Ahenakew911 Switch to an 80a fuse. That's what I did. I recently swapped the old battery I had that was basically on it's last leg with a Optima Yellow Top. Started blowing fuses left and right with the 60a's in the block. Went through 3 in less than two days. Upgraded to an 80a fuse, and haven't had an issue since.

  • Hey i recently got this amp to power the two 1400 peak power 3012's , i think i had the amp hooked up at 4 ohm,s ( 2 to each sub ) and i i blew 8 fuses in one day, i belive it was draining to much power from my battery, did you have this problem?

  • is that the 1800 watt amp, and what kind of gauge of wire you using, 2 gauge?

  • Yep. 900W RMS at 2 ohms, 1800W peak. And 4 gauge. That's the biggest you can feed to it.

  • hey does this amp have a bass knob?

im looking at it but it does not state it has a bass knob let me know plz i need a amp to power my cadence zrs 12(1000rms) this amp is 900rms at 2 ohms i know. let me know about the bass knob plz

  • It does not.

  • the only thing open now is your rear hatch....hehe

cool vid i bought those subs too.

  • They're good subs for the price that they are. Good budget starter subs. They're not BTL or W7, but they pound for their size and price.

  • w7 are a waste of money cuz a full size suv barely has the room for one of them , they sound like shit in small cars and trucks , i had a thaoe and i didnt even have enuff space that one w7 needs

  • Do you have another amp to help your door speaker's or is it just off the deck?, and if not don't u think you would get better sound out them if you hooked up another amp, thats what iam gonna do with my 6 speaker boston acoustic sound system

  • @Ahenakew911 the head unit puts out enough for the 6.5s that I have. No real need for another amp.

  • can you replace your old speakers with those ? or you have to buy that big box cuz i dont have space in my truck to fit that huge box

  • @DonDrummer hell no. These subs are almost twice the size as my door speakers. Replace your door speakers with some component speakers or some 2-way/3-way speakers. You'll need a box for these subs, no doubt. If you can fit this size box into your trunk, make a custom one, or get someone to make one for you. Check out Crutchfield or Sonic Electronix for some ideas for speakers.

  • these subs rec at least 2.5 cu ft of air space but mine sound great with 3.2 cu ft ported box with 1200 watts rms to them

  • what kind of box is that and how much was it. i need 1

  • @mobrien4187 Generic pre-fabbed. It's about 2.8-3 cubes total...3/4" MDF. Probably 50-120 bucks...depending on who makes it.

  • did you wire the subs in parallel cuz the xmax is almost 14mm on those subs and there for sure not felxing that much. with that amp hooked up to those subs in parallel u should be getting the full 400 watts rms those subs can handel. pls comment back cuz tht was the exact setup i was going to get and id wanna be disapointed

  • @derekches I'm using a cell phone, so it doesn't pick up the full flex. They're getting 450 watts. They're wired to 2 ohms which is the lowest that you can wire two of them to. If I said I had them wired to 1 ohm in this video or others, I'm wrong. I wired them to 2.

  • Hey Bro, Im getting these subs and I was confused...how do you wire them up as 2 ohms? Also, if I just wire them up regular to my 2 channel amp, will that be at 4 ohms? Thanks.

  • @damon323 the12volt(dot)com and click on sub wiring diagrams. If you're using a two channel amp, hook them up independently and you should get 2 ohms...never been a fan of hooking up subs to a multi-channel amp. I'm a monoblock kind of person.

  • Right on man!! Thanks for showing me that website!!

  • @damon323 No problem.

  • something else you might want to try in addition to this is doing what's called "parallel wiring." This brings down the impedance from the previous 8Ω to 2Ω. I can send you several different diagrams of different choices or wiring if you wish, I also have a video explaining how to do parallel wiring. When I re-wired my system I got some very noticeable changes just from a simple wiring change!

  • Right on man, that would be awesome if you can send me that, thanks!! I thought if I hook two 4-ohm subs up to a two-channel amp, I figured I was just running it as 4 ohms. Do I have to have to have dual voice coils in order to run 2 ohms?

  • @damon323 No...you don't. Two SVC 4 ohm subs wired in parallel will result in a load of 2 ohms. Two SVC 2 ohm subs...will result in a 1 ohm load wired in parallel. Two DVC 4 ohm subs wired in parallel/parallel (each coil set is wired independently) will result in a 1 ohm load. Two DVC 2 ohms will result in a .5 ohm load or an 2 ohm load when wired series/parallel.

  • Please forgive my retarded question, but what do you mean "wire them in parallel? Wire them normal to each channel or like a bridge kind of wiring?

  • @damon323 Parallel for two SVC subs means:

A total of 4 wires are needed. Sub 1 has +/- and sub 2 has +/-. 1 wire for amp pos(1) to sub 1 pos. 1 wire for amp neg(1) to sub 1 neg. 1 wire for amp pos(2) to sub 2 pos. 1 wire for amp neg(2) to sub 2 neg.

the12volt(dot)com for more help on that. Click on subwoofer wiring at the top.

  • also is that the lower the ohm load the more loud the sound will be but 1ohm loads are pushing subs to the extreme many times the subs cant handle that amount of force on the VC's and get too hot way faster and blow. 1 ohm loads push out more distortion if you do not have an additional x-over than the built ins on the amps. also just because you wire 2 subs in parallel you DO NOT add the total wattage of the subs combined. Series adds the total watts not parallel. AIM me at eagleclaws525

  • @Meldium I know how ohms law works.

  • as long as the amp is 1 ohm stable and cea complaint 1 oh will do no harm to any sub.

  • uhm its not just basic math. it depends on how you hooked the subs on your amp. you must realize something about ohms, how many voice coils per woofer, and how you wire it up on your amp. not many people know this. if you say its 900W in 2ohm on one channel (Mono) on the power amp, you must wire the subs to 2 ohms. means if they are 4ohm dual voice coils and you are hooking them up in parallel yes it drops the ohms to 2 ohms per sub. so if you do that with both in 1 channel you'll drop to 1ohm

  • i got the same amp and sub but how would i set my gains and bass can u pls tell me pls
