Don't know about battery life, LEDs take such little power that it will be years before I'll need new batteries. Not sure if they have a summer vest or not...
As we stated in the review, probably not when blinking, but probably ok when on steady. At very low speeds in fog or poor visibility, blinking probably ok. But the point is, if it makes you more visible or even saves a life, the legal issue may be a moot point.
Holy crap! I know you can never be too safe and all, but damn, that shit is corny lookin as hell. I'd be more afraid a plane would mistake me for a landing strip wearing that thing. haha
I know, I know, you look a lot more corny splattered across the hood of a Ford Explorer, but honestly this is a bit much. What's next, sirens?

that would be great for fire dept and police. maybe even paramedics. but why would a biker wear this, other then police biker
