300 Diorama; Lighting and Sound Effects

@SoonToBeUSMCSniper This is a great idea. I thought about doing this at the beginning of this year. Would have been a wrap up of all the projects I did last year. I am going to think about how I can do this in a fun and interesting way.

Not sure how much this diorama cost me. Probably around $100? without the miniatures. Those are expensive! This is a big diorama though, that's why it's so expensive, plaster, terrain materials.

what is the point of a diorama?? the artwork is really cool, it makes a really cool set, but why make a 300 model, why not just appreciate the comics and the movie? i can understand it from an artistic point of view, but why make something epic into a model??

Regarding the sound, perhaps its just youtube messing with the quality. Find the sound you want, use Sound editing program to record the sound you want.

do you make the control panels your self? and where do you keep all your projects?

The control panel I use in this project is an empty plastic panel I bought from Radio Shack. I drilled holes and mounted the various switches and lights and wiring. My projects end up different ways, I keep some on a shelf, this one is in my work room. Some projects I give away and some I donate. I have a lot of projects! Somebody told me I should start a little museum!!

Thanks, I am currently doing a big wall diorama. Got the first video for it up. And I am pricing out the wood and hardware needed for a diorama that is 12 feet by 8 feet. That one is going to be magnificent!!
