These animals have human characterizations and children love them...yet what children don't know is their parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles are killing them and even some have gone extinct...on our watch. Does everyone know the while the whale hunting was happening Greenpeace was there making a balloon. The only ones actually helping and stopping in many cases stopping the whale hunt and Greenpeace would NOT even give The Sea Shepherd much needed fuel for their ship? Honestly I am not sure what Greenpeace does any more. They are much too peaceful in my eyes. Capt. Paul Watson was a co-founder of Greenpeace yet was too direct action for them and was kicked out. FACT!

And while the direct action aspect of the whale hunt is important, it's also important to make sure there's a grassroots movement in Japan to force the government to stop whaling. So not only was there a balloon, global warming organizing, coal plant lock downs, and much more, there were activists arrested and locked up in Japan for exposing the illegal hunt and there is now intn'l pressure from human rights and environmental groups to stop the hunt.
