What I don't like about this DLC ending is they don't tie up those two dlc characters with this ending, they may do so with the killing her ending, or the letting her leave by herself but who knows.

Toegoff's adventures have long entertained me and have made a solid mark in my heart. I often find myself thinking off Dragon age and Toegoff when I walk in the forest and by the sea of my cottage. Toegoff you will be missed and if only the parts could be downloaded somewhere so I could watch them in 10 years or so, restarting the adventure. I sincerly hope that Dragon age 2 will prove itself worthy off Toegoffs lets play=)

Are you going to upload this specific play-through into Dragon Age 2? The reason I ask is because since this LP still has the glitch about Morrigan's Ritual, are you going to replay Witch Hunt again with Toegoff now that it's been patched? I don't know exactly how it will work but it would suck if Dragon Age 2 was uploaded with the incorrect story of Morrigan being denied the ritual by Toegoff because of the glitch in the last DLC.
It's strange how, with the new patch, if you performed the ritual with Morrigan you can't go with her through the mirror. At least I haven't found a way. If anyone knows how to do it I'd love to hear how.
you should do the conversation with morrigan again, they patched it so that you did do the ritual with morrigan in redcliffe and it also autosaves after you're done talking with morrigan so that it imports properly into Dragon Age 2
well i actually never got to finish the game because i had to install it on my bros computer because my screen was brocken, but i did feel a bond with my dual wielding pwn master named haedren :D

Anyway I agree we made a special bond with our warden and as much of a bad-ass they want to make Hawke of DA2 sound, he/she still would've died if our wardens hadn't stopped the Blight. So yeah our Warden pawns all.

To add to the Dragon Age vs Mass Effect discussion, I think the reason why they are introducing a sort of established character in Hawke is to enable them to craft a better story experience. With a blank character, like in Dragon Age: Origins, they can only do so much to truly integrate that character into the story.

i think what you mean is that you will be playing your chacracter your warden in origins, and in Dragon age 2 you will be playing your version of Hawke, not your own character and i agree, i found it harder to grow attached and close to Shepard and i found it terribly easy to form a bond with my Warden :S

I thought that the ending clif hung. It also left a good opening for fanfiction. I do read GOOD fanfiction. I think the ending did just what I wanted. This is almost exactly it. 'cept it realized I did the ritual and I went with morrigan through the portal. I loved it. Though it was very short. The ending was the only reason I bought it.
@Chubbs70000000: Yeah, your decisions such as who ended up on the throne, what you saved, what you destroyed, who or what you sided with, will be in DA2. I've also heard that we may see some familiar faces. Overall, I'm excited for the sequel but I'm disappointed at the cliffhanger that Origins left behind, and I'm not happy about characters being voiced. We need Mass Effect 3 for that.

Morrigan's line about a "harrowing to come" might be a possible reference to Dragon Age 2, as several of her lines are similar to Flemeth's lines in the Dragon Age 2 "Destiny" trailer

I have to agree with everything you say Toegoff, DA2's direction and setting is very disappointing. Hawke might be a amazing character, we will never know until it comes out, but I will always remember THE Grey Warden, MY Grey Warden. Without the "Origins", DA become very generic and limit players imaginations. What Bioware is doing is very selfish if you ask me. Forcing us to give up on our Grey Warden, and play someone we know nothing about.

I dont think that this story is through. If you look at the original dragon age trailers, the 'custom' character is a warrior with magic, his eyes glow blue. During the new trailer for dragon age 2 the 'custom' character bears a resemblance to the character in the first trailer, near the end his eyes glow red, as well as the fact that morrigans mother, flemeth, narrates the commercial. I am not a nerd who has no life and plays all day, this just came to my mind as i was watching this.

I'm going to make Alistair a king now so that he will appear In a cut scene In Awakening. Maybe the blow was somehow teleported to the baby somehow? It dosen't make sense though.

I agree. I'm attached to my grey warden. I couldn't capture the "joy" I suppose, from playing with any of my other characters. It's sad that you have to finally say goodbye to your warden, because now it's officially the end of their tale.

There is. At least sometimes, (maybe all the time? idk...) she acts as if you did not agree to the ritual, even if you did. Which, of course, could be a big factor in why you are tracking her down...
I took the very same ending Teogoff, but with my longest warden Raiko or has ppl call him 'The Unloved'[ (i gave him that nikname cuz was goin mad insanity after Golems of Amgarrak which i imported him from not origins.
to Kimarous Here's what Raiko would've said to his companions:

My boss battle broke. After the second wave of drakes. He bugged and just stood there. Good thing. It was only my character and the mage left. So I got the nightmare achivement. Yeah I was more busy attacking to relised my dog and elf girl died.
If you play this and it doesnt glitch...it doesnt leave too much unanswered...besides they said Morrigan will be a major story line in that one so yea.
I didn't like the ending so many questions unanswered and the fact that questions were made in the dlc that weren't answered like why did the statue say it wasn't going to talk to the person again, what happened to the book, did the portal even work, how did Toegoff survive if he didn't sleep with Morrigan, and a ton others
@MajorRochey N, Dragon age 2 takes place during and after the blight. If im not wrong it starts off at lothering where you and your sister are trying to escape to the north because of the comming blight. So you will have no connections to the warden but you will meet flemath again.

1. The place you are in is called "The Nest"?
2. You still have Finn and that Elf and your dog as your party, NOT Morrigan
3. There were 2 friendly-npc marks on your minimap... who could they be?!

Unfortunately, the DLC is sorta glitchy on reading your data files so Morrigan has a habit of messing up the details/reading the wrong info.

@Chubbs70000000: Yeah, your decisions such as who ended up on the throne, what you saved, what you destroyed, who or what you sided with, will be in DA2. I've also heard that we may see some familiar faces. Overall, I'm excited for the sequel but I'm disappointed at the cliffhanger that Origins left behind, and I'm not happy about characters being voiced. We need Mass Effect 3 for that.

no matter what, ill manage to make my character in DA2 my own story, it will be possible, if only I can somehow manage to block out the voice or something, but I will do it! Yes, some of the game features are disappointing, but im still really excited for it.

I think they've patched up the glitch. My character was one of the ones rumored to be bugged but I still have the ritual ending.
And yes, I choked up at this ending.

@ghostkai666 yea, Morgan doesnt have to have a son. if u choose to sacrifice instead of ritual and then kill her, she is nvr pregnant, hence no son

I already miss Erik the dual wielding Warrior City Elf. Everything you said about the 'Warden' is true, people are just not going to be attached to Hawke because, frankly, he's not us. He's some guy we happen to control. Commander Shepard works, but I dont see how he is going to

I have to agree with everything you say Toegoff, DA2's direction and setting is very disappointing. Hawke might be a amazing character, we will never know until it comes out, but I will always remember THE Grey Warden, MY Grey Warden. Without the "Origins", DA become very generic and limit players imaginations. What Bioware is doing is very selfish if you ask me. Forcing us to give up on our Grey Warden, and play someone we know nothing about.

I am curous as to Morrigan's reaction to you if you did not romance her or was female. Anyway, thank you so much for this. Your reaction was funny. I've been waiting for this to be posted. I do wonder though if it isn't the ending for the Warden Commander but instead his and Morrigan's journey helps shape Freleden's future with the sequel(s). Does this happen after Awakening?? It still boggles me that your character is still alive despite you may have sacrificed them in the first game.

I dont think that this story is through. If you look at the original dragon age trailers, the 'custom' character is a warrior with magic, his eyes glow blue. During the new trailer for dragon age 2 the 'custom' character bears a resemblance to the character in the first trailer, near the end his eyes glow red, as well as the fact that morrigans mother, flemeth, narrates the commercial. I am not a nerd who has no life and plays all day, this just came to my mind as i was watching this.

@cutiepe2ce Yay I guessed correctly :3 Ah something similar happened to me. I started over long ago though and my noble human 2h warrior Is lvl 17 now so i guess it's ok. I'm going to make Alistair a king now so that he will appear In a cut scene In Awakening. Maybe the blow was somehow teleported to the baby somehow? It dosen't make sense though.

My ending was another, Morigan didnt take me with, just left something on the ground for me,but they didnt showed me what was that :( Sad that is the last DLC ,see you in 2011 ^^

@sajian It is true DA2 is following the story of a Hero,Hawke just as Shepard in Mass effect. There's the wheel dialog,we get a variety of options and choices available? i hope they do it properly =D

I agree. I'm attached to my grey warden. I couldn't capture the "joy" I suppose, from playing with any of my other characters. It's sad that you have to finally say goodbye to your warden, because now it's officially the end of their tale.

I took the very same ending Teogoff, but with my longest warden Raiko or has ppl call him 'The Unloved'[ (i gave him that nikname cuz was goin mad insanity after Golems of Amgarrak which i imported him from not origins.
to Kimarous Here's what Raiko would've said to his companions:
Raiko: F*k u, f*k the book i rather f*k my love than that piece of sh*t. and finn keep my dog i'll probably never return.

My boss battle broke. After the second wave of drakes. He bugged and just stood there. Good thing. It was only my character and the mage left. So I got the nightmare achivement. Yeah I was more busy attacking to relised my dog and elf girl died.

I didn't like the ending so many questions unanswered and the fact that questions were made in the dlc that weren't answered like why did the statue say it wasn't going to talk to the person again, what happened to the book, did the portal even work, how did Toegoff survive if he didn't sleep with Morrigan, and a ton others

@MajorRochey N, Dragon age 2 takes place during and after the blight. If im not wrong it starts off at lothering where you and your sister are trying to escape to the north because of the comming blight. So you will have no connections to the warden but you will meet flemath again.
