  • If angels can get kicked out of heaven (when they were already in heaven) What makes you think God won't kick out humans out once they do something he doesn't like? I was thinking...

  • I think that was one of the best videos Ive seen by the atheist experience.

  • I believe in unicorns, if anyone doesnt agree with me ILL FUCKING KILL U AND SEND YOU TO SPINACH LAND WHERE YOULL HAVE TO EAT SPINACH ALL YOUR LIIIIIIIFFFFFFEEEEEEE. If you dont believe in unicorns i will be mad at you, just cause, no, other, reasonnnn.......

  • @theslayter01 HOW DARE YOU NOT BELIEVE IN THE SAME THING THAT I DO!!! WE ALL KNOW THAT THE ONLY RIGHT BELIEF IS IN POTATO SALAD.. IT CREATED THE UNIVERSE IN 7 DAYS THIS IS FACT. ITS WRITTEN ON MY NAPKIN

  • @wheresnajee YOUR SO WRONG, I MADE THAT POTATO SALAD, AND THE GOD THAT INSTRUCTED ME, IS THE IPU, INVISIBLE PINK UNICORN. NEVER MIND THAT OTHER MYTHICAL CHARACTER ATHEIST HAVE INVENTED, THE SPAGHETTI MONSTER IS A LIE, THE IPU IN HIS INFINITE WISDOM ALSO MADE SPAGHETTI.

  • "holding their sandwich ransom in the name of jesus". that was pretty funny. matt has his ducks in a row, and he makes tons of sense.

  • holding a sandwich ransom in the name of jesus. LOL

  • This guy mark has called under many names and either AETV is encouraging him as a POE to call or they are too deluded to understand that he is a POE which is embarassing to the community.

  • @MrConsarnit Actually, the ACA has been suspicious of Mark's allilas names, but they had absolutely no evidence to conclude that, say, Andrew is in fact Mark as they have no caller ID, so they consistently gave him the benefit of the doubt. However, on the most recent show, Matt Dillahunty finally trapped him into revealing who he really is. Then all hell and chaos broke lose on that that same episodes blog. It's kinda fun to read over, actually. xD

  • Dane Cook has really gone down hill. From top comedian to trolling the Atheist Experience...

  • @JohnGolbunny lol

  • @JohnGolbunny hahahahahahahah "top comedian" hahahah

  • He said there is a million different reasons and he didn't even give one!

  • Well, um...

  • ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST!!!!!!

  • These guys are fucking awesome.

On a more serious side, religion has stopped our advancement as a race for years, it's about time for it finally die out.

  • dude gets pwned... sighs... and hangs up in resignation... Matt rules!

But in all seriousness, that dude sounds like he is really struggling with the fact that he seems to realize that the things he believe are sooo pathetically ridiculous!!

  • they always get so defensive. Christians aren't scary lol the Bible doesn't say that God wants to punish and one

  • they always get so defensive. Christians aren't scary lol

  • @richy4bama (I suppose I should add so people don't whine about it- I realize that it is a rather moot point, since Darwin's opinion of the ideas he presented are completely irrelevant- we have, in any practical sense of the work, incontrovertible that evolution occurs, but I have a feeling for where richy4bama is going with this...)

  • @richy4bama Prove it- where did Darwin even express doubt in the theory he was proposing?

  • Matt's dialogue between 4:00 and 7:00 is genius.

  • @richy4bama, you came here explicitly to "force" the faith at anyone who would read/make comments on this video, which is probably going to be Atheists and non-theists. All your random note has done to me is annoy me, and remind me why I have never joined your religion. Toss me some evidence for your beliefs, and I'll happily look into the religion again. As it is, going to stay a Buddhist. I know he wasn't a god, and I'm happy with the philosophy.

  • I hate these "idiot" Christians. Although I love this show I think there is so much more enjoyment in watching a more intelligent and articulate ones like William Lane Craig. His debates with Hitchens are great. As an atheist and one who loves debate I find the debates on the "anthropic principle" and similar angles are more fascinating discussions. Mainly because they all lead to the conclusion that the existence has always existed. This is what BOTH sides must accept.

  • why do theists insist on threatening non-theists with the whole eternal damnation thing...

  • @richy4bama Eternal unimaginable torture? We deserve that? You're either disturbed or high. But please don't post insanity that no one will listen to anyway without even trying to tell us why we do, or how you're correct. That's just asinine, and though you may not be forcing your beliefs on us, you just came here to state your opinion and move on. That's a waste of everyone's time. If that's all you're gonna do, please do it on a video that agrees with you, here it's just irritating.

  • @richy4bama

Maybe you deserve to go to some make believe place of eternal hellfire and torment, but I certainly do not. I've done stupid things like stealing and vandalism when I was a child and most people have as well, but when your brain isn't fully developed, you can't truly be expected to make informed and rational decisions with proper analysis of the full effects of your actions.

Since my brain has fully developed, I have been a moral and upstanding person, and I'll bet you have too.

  • I think.. I think that they just destroyed a big part of his faith as well... Completely PWNT.

  • Already in minute 3:00 the fuy was gettin PWNT by the hosts, pretty silly starting a debate that you know you can't win...

  • "Oh Good"......lmao

  • 1:30 Matt, no belief can be rational and all have support in evidence. Are you really saying that thought exist somewhere else and not in the physical world? Your entire position is layered with logical fallacys, In fact, the claim of logical fallacy is in itself, a logical fallacy.

  • @BeatleEDs Uh nothing you just said made any sense whatsoever.

  • I think Jeff is a reptiloid :P

  • @maujo2009 nah, he's too stupid to be a reptiloid lol

  • Mark keeps calling every sunday. I think he's on his way to become an atheist.

  • @maujo2009 Yeah, I agree. Doesn't that make you feel good? A new brother! LOL...

  • @sned10000 You think he just made that up? Google "age of earth bible" and see what you get. Could you really be that ignorant?

  • @sned10000 Actually, it indeed does. You need to do research and learn the bible yourself. It makes multiple claims, and through mathematics, you can deduce from what ti does claim, the world would only be 6-10k years old if what it says is accurate. It's obvious you have no clue what he's actually talking about, and are totally ignorant on any biblical arguments.

  • @Delinexwow Only if you actually think god made the world in 7 days. The translation for the word "day" comes from the Hebrew word "yom". "yom" can mean a day, a season, or an indeterminate period of time. It would be more accurate to say the creation of man is 6-10,000 years old. When looking at what occurred on each of the 7 "days" in the book of genesis, it is quite obvious "yom" did not mean 24 hours. Rather, an indeterminate period of time.

  • @sned10000 Wrong. Read the bible. The creation clearly defines a day as night and day. Evening and morning. The bible specifically claims this. Either a day is as it is today, or he changed physics. Specifically gen 1:5. The 7 day creation was 24 hours each. It is quite obvious you haven't bothered reading genesis very carefully. Perhaps you should spend time reading the bible instead of claiming what others don't know about it?

  • @Delinexwow - "The creation clearly defines a day as night and day." Really? What is the definition of "a day" and where does it come from.

  • @sned10000 What I find absolutely pathetic is people like you trying to change what it says. You say it's quite obvious yom did not mean 24 hours, yet admit it can. The ONLY mention the creation has at ALL about time, is the word day, or yom, and what I have just mentioned. Night and day. The only logically rational conclusion from this at all is it was indeed a 24 hour day. Your claim isn't 'obvious' at all other than you found ONE word that MIGHT mean something different, yet doesn't.

  • @sned10000 The entire creation is fucked up and absolutely scientifically stupid...how could you possibly claim it's 'obvious' it didn't take only 7 days? You find the bible claiming the world's only 6-10k years old more ignorantly stupid than creating the entire universe in a fraction of the time it took to create earth alone? In other words the 7 day creation story fits perfectly with the rest of it's stupidity.

  • Comment removed

  • @sned10000 Biblical scholars have studied the bible and followed the ancestry stated in the bible and it ammounts to a 6-10 thousand years old earth

  • @sned10000 Isn't that date worked out from the genealogy of all the people in the bible going back to Adam. So yeah the bible doesn't have a figure in it but if you take the bible literally that's the figure you have to come up with.

  • @sned10000 Again, us atheists have to clear things up for christians who don't even know the stuff they believe in. The bible doesn't say specifically that the world is 6-10K years old, but the calculation was made based on the chronology in it, meaning the time after "adam's creation", "the flood", birth of abraham, the exodus, etc. You need to read the bible more, maybe you'll get to realize why us rational people no longer believe in it.

  • @sned10000 You might like to watch a video called "The Age of Our World Made Easy" here in YT.

  • @sned10000 Are you serious? Please tell me you're kidding. That estimate comes from looking at the lifespans of the characters in the Bible, and today (if it were true), that would make the world 6-10,000 years old. Knowing that you posted this four weeks ago, you still probably haven't been in the Atheism Vs. Christianity debate very long, or you'd probably know that.

  • @sned10000 it doesn't explicitly say that the earth is 6-10,000 years old but if you assume that jesus was born 2000 years ago and trace the lineage back to the creation of adam and eve, it's a little vague but the age from now to the creation comes out to be 6-10,000 years old. by the way, if you watch some other videos of TAE, you'll find that matt knows the bible way better than any of his callers.

  • @sned10000 sure it doesn't straight out say it but if you assume it's true it has to be 6-10 thousand years old if you infer from it.

  • Oh gods...this is hilarious!

  • he got shut down

  • Heed! Let's take notice of [The END] our time_ Mathew24:36-39

  • @plptous The bible was mistranslated many times. Take a text. The bible maybe. Any big book. Dictionnary, the bible..anything. Copy it from first sentence to the last punctuation. Draw all the details for this book (because the old bibles were awesomely decorated). You'll tell me. That after 10 000 copies...no typo? No translation mistake?

I'm not even questioning the facts of the bible themselves. I'm just considering the fact that..human wrote the bible. Mistake is in our nature

  • @beatboxpeej Re: "...No translation mistake?"

Would u reject your parents 'wills' because it was falsified? No, u would search/seek help to decode it. If u do the same for the Bible u'll receive an inheritance, 'everlasting life in paradise'._ Titus 3:7. We're free to choose; my choice is to believe & help others._ 1John1:1-4. Not to convince everyone, but just for a witness._ Matthew24:14. This video discussion is off-track. The Bible has always prove to be true only some interpretations fail.

  • @beatboxpeej 2nd Re: "...No translation mistake?"

Should some copiers/translators did wrongly their job (as many did) they will face the consequences_Deuteronomy4:1-2. This is not a reason for us though to disbelieve/reject the Bible or even God. If this bad action could influence future generations but it can't justify their total rejection of God & His Word 'the Bible'. Incredibly, the Bible is the greatest martyr of all time because God wanted it to survive and its message for us as well.

  • @plptous We are kind of orphan maybe? Let say that my parents created me. The only thing they did to rise me is to give me a book, writen by my brothers and a visit of some uncle from time to time. First, how do I know I have parents? My brothers may have lied to me. Who's that uncle? Who's that guy who pops in and say : I came to tell you that Dad and mom are fine. Maybe I'm adopted. I really could. Dad and mom are away all the time. I never knew their name. So I gave them.

  • @beatboxpeej And 2nd reply. A good example of a bad translation is given by Richard Dawkin. Apparently (I don't know if its true) the word "virgin" in the bible is a translation mistake. I would only suggest you to find a copy of an original bible in its original language and learn that language. It could be a very cool experience. Reading the original words of God in its original format. You could enjoy it. I hope you see that I respect believers a LOT because I once was.

  • wow, this guy is right on. Great speech, standing ovation.

  • MATT-SLAPPED!

  • Excellent video. I've had a very similar experience to Matt. For a long time my brother could barely stand to be in the same room with me when he learned that I was atheist.

  • Excellent speech by Matt Dillahunty, maximum respect for him.

  • Jeff Dee Rocks....I wish he was allowed to swear he would go off like Jack Black ;)

  • @plptous Why do you think the bible is true?

  • @BiffWhitebread13 This book reveals things that we could never find out otherwise. You cannot know that unless you examine it and allow it to transform your life (2 Timothy 3:16-4:1) ...All Scripture [that we know as the Bible now] is inspired of God and beneficial for teaching, for reproving, for setting things straight, for disciplining in righteousness, that the man of God may be fully competent, completely equipped for every good work

God's word, the Bible is a book like no other book

    ...

  • @plptous I think you misunderstood my question--I understand that you believe the bible is true. What I'd like to know is WHY you think it is true.

  • @plptous Yes, it's a book like no other. It's a horrendously bad book. I don't believe in it and neither do you. So instead of spewing this worthless drivel why not engage in a real conversation? Let's just pretend that you did believe this drek. How could you demonstrate your belief? How could we tell the "true believer" from a total fraud?

  • Is it possible... that they just sizzled his faith to oblivion?
