So annoying when people compare Battlefield 3 to Arma 2. They are two different games and both are great in their own respects. Battlefield 3 represent all out scripted warfare. Arma 2 is a simulation of war, where the unexpected happens, and the enemies are not so clear.

@MrClasius This game is awesome and all the new gen GPU are allowing us to play cutting edge from a few years ago at max settings. As far as war simulation this game is very authentic, you are punished severely for making bad decisions, so much so that most hate the learning curve and give up the game. Much like real life when spec ops are asked to be uncompromising when carrying out their tasks dont die or you may just quit the game for good.

I tried BF3 open beta. Great graphics, animations, effects! - simply great game, but I didn't like running like a devil and shooting on every target while i was feel like in Quake 3 Arena with real weapons...

@gasdorf Of course man, you can expect about 45 - 60+ fps in maxed out. I have sometimes texture lag but it isn't the worst. In forrest and city fps drops slightly on my machine.

@patko1610 ok your cpu is fine, what you should do is download something called CPU-ID, i'll try post a link for you.. well anyway, this program allows you to check which specs you have in your system, after checking which motherboard you have you should just google asking if the gtx 560 ti is compatible with your system.. hope this helps.

Whats wrong with my system? I have an i7-2600k, 750w of power, GTX 560Ti overclock, 8GB of RAM, Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit and my game runs awfully. If i look at something the texture doesnt pop until like 20 seconds and when im flying or driving the dashboards, controls, etc are blurry and not visible at all. All settings are on high but it still runs like shit. The game isnt slow but the textures are slow as fuck

I've overclocked my Q9550 from 2.8GHz to 3.8GHz and got about 10 FPS up. That's why you need get better CPU.

of course processor at some points is important, but when we are speaking about the last 3 years processor, even a core 2 duo with 3 ghz is enough. we are not going to talk about pentium or something like dual core which are ancient... the most important is the gpu.

overclocking is something that i am really NOT recommending. we dont really understand what is happening when we are overclock our cpu, and its not safety to do it.
