if you don't have one already, i would reccomend the 3D led maglite
classic maglites don't break all that easily, They're heavy and chunky, but are bright enough to serve general purposes, and can take drops. Furthermore, even if it does break, the 25 or so bucks you spent on it is nothing compared to dropping a priceless surefire/ streamlight
Great idea. As an ex officer, I have had times where slamming a baton against a car window did nothing. I have seen other officers beat their mag lights on windows and they dont break. Love this idea. Just think, you are in a submerged car,,, you want the officer or fireman to be able to easily break your window and get you out, yes??? Good product. I hope every department buys them.
