i love these kinds of videos, not because i get my jollies by watching another creature be eaten but because there is always some "white knight" who thinks that nature and evolution have got it all wrong, i have personally seen a group of 4 or 5 tigers kill and eat a nest of mice, not once in all my years of dealing with animals (in the wild) have i ever seen a wolf or a salamander eat vegetation because it was their primary diet.

Theres a chance the mouse can bite it, as a snake. Incase you didnt know they are meant to be insectavores. Insects move.
Thats why you hold them in forceps and wiggle it to reanact the movement.
Works with everyone else. Dont know if youve ver heard of komodo calcium powder, but that gives amphibians calcium so you dont need to feed mice. As a diet on insects is much healthier.

Its the food chain, the meathod of delivery in a way is better, since I've seen Tiger Salamanders catch Pinkies and the baby mice die slowly. I work at a pet shop, I know. Won't go into detail but directly into the mouth is probably better then being thrown around by its leg for two minutes.
