It's just probability.... even if it worked, which for me it did, there's only 52 cards in a deck and the odds are about 1/26 that those 2 cards will be near eachother, as he said one card apart, that changes the statistic to about 1/18 which means that 1 in 18 people would have got this, and looking through the comments I can see this statistic is virtually spot on.

@eduardokucharsky I actually got ~0.0059 but I was wrong nevertheless, I tried finding the chance of drawing 2 cards in succession ( (4/52)^2 ) but I forgot that the first card is a place holder so its actually (4/52) = ~0.0769 = ~7.69%

@protologix Maybe you are wright, but just to be shure I will run it by a friend who knows very well the statistics. But think about it, you can do this trick as a experiment a bunch of times, if your result of 7.69% it true, it should work 7 or 8 times of 100 intents, but you will see that it works a lot more then your result suggest.
