  • I love women in uniform...

  • communist can not die

  • somebody! make the dubstep remix of that great song please! i would download it!

  • watch?v=f3JObwKp8sU

    acoustic ver. :)

  • Great music. Stalin destroyed the Soviet Union. If Trotsky had succeeded Lenin the Soviet Union would probably still exist.

  • @fidomusic Stalin destroyed the Soviet Union? Where do you get your wisdom, from your butt?

  • @ElenaXVI Stalin industrialised Soviet Union, but he killed almost 30 million people of his own population! Read Aleksandr Isayevich Solzhenitsyn's book The Gulag Archipelago for you to see the horrible things Stalin did.

    But the music still great

  • @MyraiTrunks Industrialization hurts, and huge backward Russia had to make 200 years of progress in 10 years, so yeah, to make as much growth as possible people were badly taken cared of, to say the least. Yes, many lives could have been spared, but Stalin wanted to strengthen the industry and the army as soon as possible to prepare for the future big war, it's not like he woke up one morning and said: gee, I think I'm gonna start killing people, it's fun. He saved YOUR hairy ass from Hitler.

  • @ElenaXVI You are just repeating the propaganda of the Communists. My grandfather was from SS, so he was killed by Stalin and not saved from him. Puting that a side, the URSS was always obsolete in it's industry, they got a lot of factories but they did not word well, not only that, when the Germans attacked, they saw in first hand a lot of red lies, there were a lot of roads on the maps of USSR that did not exist and the appartments were made from clay!

  • @MyraiTrunks He was sended to gulag, not killed*

  • @MyraiTrunks Yes, poor Germans had no idea that what we have called the road they can ride on something)))

Houses of clay - oh what a wonder. Very good heat insulation, among other things, in the summer - cool in the winter - warm.

So where's the Communists lie at this examples ?

PS Yes, and again about roads - look at the map and count how many German's in the Soviet Union territory could hold.

  • @ElenaXVI

if he put troops on the front lines instead of letting Hitler in through Yugoslavia, many Russians would've lived.

The man, like Hitler, was a stupid tactician.

  • @MyraiTrunks Ever read Robespierre's "Report on the Principles of Political Morality"?

  • @ElenaXVI No. I have read a lot of books about the Soviet Union, even Perestroika and others, I reccomend for you to read the books of Dmitri Volkogonov that was a general in the time of Stalin and died in 2001 or something like that.

  • @MyraiTrunks So?

  • @MyraiTrunks I'm not repeating communist propaganda, it's a historical fact. WW2 would never be won if USSR wasn't an industrial society and yes, Stalin did the terror industrialization because he knew a WAR was coming. You can use fancy words like "propaganda" but it won't change the truth. Sorry.

  • @fidomusic Neither one of then would do justice, study please.

  • 1:21 made me lol. :P

That aside, this is a truly epic song, regardless of your political views.

  • There are many versions of this song, and the lyrics that are posted beneath are incorrect to this particular version.

    Fail.

  • It's truly intelligent that lyrics below video don't match those in video,

    EPIC at 1.21

  • nie wiem co się dzieje?Moje córki się ze mnie śmieją

  • jestem zauroczona tym chórem. Słuchałam koncert w Zabrzu w 11/10

    Jest niesamowity. Słucham go ciągle

  • Why is it when I look at all the versions of this song, one I was taught as a child in AMERICA with joy and love, there are always those bashing my country? The Cold War died...why cannot you let the past heal. No good ever comes from wars - your side or mine. I am marrying a Russian man. I am a child of the Cold War. Warmongering and hate has no place in these times. Remember the mistakes of the past lest you repeat them. Do you want more blood spilled on your fields? I do not.

  • pronunciation

  • I don't know Russian and haven't a clue what they are saying ,, but I love this song so much . Mighty Russia .

  • @chazchazfbi

The point is that Russia isn't mighty, but USSR was...

  • @superd1Ck Bullshit !!!

  • Guys, just try to read "Tha capial" by K.Marx, you'll discover a lot of new, interesting things about your "democracy"

  • @superd1Ck *Capital, of course, sorry

  • Glory and honour ,the world honours the

Soviet blood that saved Europe,Spam and Studebakers from America ,Soviet tenacity brought the beast down.

  • Trust me pal ,the world laments the demise of the soviets, the whole iraq afghan wars would have been avoided.Us foreign policy on the mad rage wouldnt have happened..........ya yest sovietski giroy...jesli sowtr voina ,yesli sowtra pachod....

  • if the sound quality is better...

  • can't anyone write the lyrics in english

  • @hzmmzh do you mean the translation ?

  • @fikamar27 yes

  • @Giaguaro2003 Behind communism (socialism) the future... It will be erroneous to believe that democracy to live forever.

  • @TheFelixMang

Man, don't get ideas of socialism or communism. It's not against democracy.

You may wonder, but there was elections of gensec in soviet union (but due of soviet system corruption there was only one candidate). Idea of socialism and communism are based on democracy.

Communism are not aganist democracy, but agaings Capitalism. When group of rich "elite", using "democracy" as cover and manipulating public opinion using TV/Press - thats called CAPITALISM.

  • @clouster75

    You're right, But

Russian socialism was better than any democracy, just because democracy doesn't exist, neither in USA, nor in Europe...

  • @superd1Ck wrong... you forgot switzerland. democracy exists

  • @seehofer20

Women got their voting rights there completely only in 1976 are you kidding? USSR was actualy MOST democratic and free country EVER existed

  • @MarshallJukov damn. it's not that i don't like communism. i really like the ideals of it. but like putin said: Whoever does not miss the Soviet Union has no heart. Whoever wants it back has no brain. end of discussion

  • " Whoever does not miss the Soviet Union has no heart. Whoever wants it back has no brain. end of discussion"

Thats simly stupiest phrase i ever head. Of cource that bastart putin does no wants USSR back - he do not want to give away billions and billions of $ and real assets he and his kind STOLE from people.

However PEOPLE of Russia WANTs USSR back - because we lived back then EXPONENTALY more FREE and PROSPEROUS than now

Actualy even now USA didt reached level of life we had in 1980

  • @MarshallJukov

xD... i don't know what's funnier. your ignorance or your pronounciation skills.

  • @biuri1922 pure child. go to mami for lolli pop

  • @biuri1922 LONG LIVE JEWISH SYSTEM?xd

  • Beautiful. Hail the CCCP!

  • @ExposingTheGOP

CCCP may have been quite a hellish country to live in, but they had top quality music education and therefore great musicians and other artists!

  • @Mikey84

What a nonsense... So, everyone in USSR, who couldn't sing, was executed? Funny.I mean, why hellish?

  • @superd1Ck I think you misunderstood my comment a bit. I meant that even if USSR wasn't that good in some things, they at least had super great music education system.

  • @RomanRUS163 I'm sorry, but could you please translate your post in English? I don't understand Russian at all...

  • @Mikey84 I wanted to tell that in the USSR was a lot of good...(Promt translate)

  • @RomanRUS163

  • Arrgh! I have now downloaded three different versions of the Cyrillic lyrics to this song, but none of them match what the Red Army Choir, here, is singing. If you click on "More info." the lyrics shown there do not match the choir, after the first stanza. (thanks, anyway, for trying gesandor)

  • Yes, there are many stanzas in the full song but usually the Choir skips some.

  • @ganzveruckt - (nur fuer dich!)
  • :::

  • What a beautiful song! I love Russian folk music. Can anyone please provide a link to the lyrics in Cyrillic? I have found what seems to be only the first two or three stanzas, but not the entire song.

  • Youtube doesn't allow to write original lyrics in Russian.

  • Why not?

  • I don't know it exactly, but they say there is the restrictions for non-English languages.

A few hours ago I was trying to post the lyrics of this song in Russian, and this text was more than 500 symbols. So I had devided this text on two parts.

But youtube didn't allow me to post the second part. =)

  • Because they're capitalist bastards.

  • This is cool :D I love choirs. I'm not Russian nor do I understand Russian but I'm faving this.

  • Could a good fellow translate this beautiful musical piece to those who don't have the knowledge of the Russian Language?

    Thanks a lot!!

  • Field-field,

    Field, wide open!

The heroes go through a field

Ah, it is the Red Army heroes!

    Girls, take a look,

    Look at the our way

    Winding a long road,

    Ah, yes merry way

  • Girls, take a look,

We are ready to meet the enemy,

    Our horses is fleet-footed,

    Ah, our tanks is fast

In the sky behind a cloud

    Threatening pilots are wathing

    Our submarines swim quickly

    Ah, yes keenly watching Voroshilov

  • Let the farm

    Amicable work is boiling

    We - patrol today

Ah, yes, we today on guard

    Field-field,

    Field, green field!

The heroes go through a field

Ah, it is the Red Army heroes!

  • Oooops. I am sorry, but i am translate only version of this song. And on this video we can see classic version of song, that have little less politic... There is no words abou tanks and submarines :) , but this secound verse about girls are crying because of sad about men who...hmmm...

  • 1992? Is this performance a kinda farewell to Communism and the Soviet Union?

  • A beautiful song, and a big nation! I hope to visit Russia in future.

  • It,s a catchy tune... its a wonder Boyzone or Westlife have not covered it :-) a sure fire hit :-)

  • nice song, only one thing that bothers me though, why is the volume so low???

  • maybe you should turn on your speakers hahaha DUMBAASS

  • This song is about motherland. This is not about politics. And it's great in all kinds.

  • SHUT UP. THIS ISN'T A FORUM.

  • Yes. There was a concert of Leningrad Cowboys and Red Army Choir in Helsinki, Finland , in 1993 . According Wikipedia in 1998 it was named to following title : A. V. Alexandrov Russian army twice red-bannered academic song and dance ensemble.

  • 1992 and there was still red army ensenble?

  • Blod Russian wariors Have saved all world

  • no stfu.

  • Devushki glyante, glyante na dorogu nashu!

vetcya dalnyaya doroga, Ekh, da razveselaya doroga

  • WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH this song is really sweet! Literally sweet.

  • I like the German marches, but this song is just amazing!

    More then just a song.

  • I agree workergirls. As the U.S has become the very evil it has been trying to destroy (for those who contradict this, your a fucking manipulative antichrist). Communism is really the only governent which is for its for its people (if you have a civic virtued experienced executive).

  • Long live communism

  • Capitalism and fascism are two sides of the same barbarian coin....

    Long live great communism !!!

Death to fascist and capitalist monsters !!!

  • SSSR TURKMENIZTAN

  • the best song ^^ 5/5

  • Such a powerful song, i love it!

  • There are some hot women in this clip :)

I love this song, such powerful stuff :)

  • The masters - spasibo ochin horasho!

  • It's just a manner of choice, when there's no war goïng on soldiers can either :

    1) Compose and sing nice songs as the red army did.

    2) Hang around in the nearest Mc. Donalds as the U.S. and Russian army do.

  • The conductor is G. Gordon Liddy???

  • such power i love the red army choir

One of the best versions of my favorite song!

  • why the hell is it so soft

  • Yeah, I too want it harder )

  • i recon its the way it should be , starting with soft and kind and ends with a power up :) i realy love it

  • I know. I put my computer at highest volume. Even then it is hard to hear the beginning.

  • You are not supposed to hear the beginning.

This represents soldiers marching through the field, first they are far away, and you can hear them better and better ... then really loud, then right the opposite untill u finally can't hear them. It's like an episode of movie, pictured in the song itself. Not everyone understands that.

  • OK, I understand why now, but I still think that we should be able to at least realise that the song has started.
