@injinerconev yeah in the ST it uses the engine straight from the volvo s40 t5 , which is known to have weak liners which melt and and hugely reduce the reliablity of the engine if you increase power much above 330 bhp , The RS 500 has 350 bhp and that engine can take up to 500 bhp or more , but has a revised block which is much stronger with thicker liners , better clutch , higher quality oil filter diaphragm , alternator , the list goes on form mistakes learned from the ST .

Oh my God, this is like the 9000th time i've seen this ad for the Alpha Romeo, no one fucking cares, sure it is kind of nice to look at, but you could get a car for half the price which smashes the alpha across every performance test you could possibly imagine, it is just a ridiculous vehicle.

I've got the more humble Zetec S version with a diesel engine, but even that is good to drive....my mate has a Golf GTi and I honestly prefer driving the Focus....the Golf is quicker of course, but it doesn't handle as well (from my limited experience of driving my mate's car.) It's all down to personal preference of course, the Golf has a more upmarket image and it's a lovely motor, but for my money not so much fun as a driver's car compared to the Focus.
