  • The 23rd Centurty?

  • Very cool! Huge Star Trek fan myself and I liked this.

  • I love the Cold Case theme at the begining !!

What is the song from 2:24 and 2:53 through the end !?

    Where can I find this.

  • @ewtng I have listed the names of the songs I used at the end of the video.

  • Nice editing job and interesting choice for a sound track.

  • gay music. doesn't fit star trek 2.

  • This was good, gives the movie a fresh sort of feel, but somehow it tries to cast the film in an action drama genre that it is not akin to. I kept waiting to see Nicolas Cage or Bruce Willis show up somewhere. Overall, it was a good job, may have been better if it was a minute or two shorter.

  • Centurty?

  • I took a Final Cut Pro class a couple semesters ago.

  • This is quite possibly more than I ever could have achieve.

Did you use Final Cut Pro ???

  • @ewtng Adobe Premier CS4

  • Wow... in a word EPIC! I think this is one of the best tribute trailers I've ever seen for this film, and excellent job throwing the audience off by showing the "dead" characters at the end. The final shit (Spock's coffin) in conjunction with Kirk's "I don't believe..." line is priceless... you really captured the unique brilliance of the film. I sure as hell hope you got an A lol. Keep up the good work.

  • @WhySoSerious0331 Thank You

  • well done, hope you got an "A".

  • the music from the beginning is the cold case theme

  • Hey, what's the song that play's from the beggining? I think i've heard in some other movie but i can't remember which from. :)

  • Oh, I remember doing stuff like this at school! Except we had to compose the trailer music as well - damn, I miss gcse music class...

This is great - I hope you enjoyed making it

  • century is spelled wrong

  • yeah i know. one of the reasons i got a 97% good looking out thought. lol

  • THIS IS EPIC!

  • Trailers don't give away the entire story lol

  • LOL and it doesn't but Trailers should tell a story too.

  • No. Trailers are designed soley to get the audience to sit in the seats and watch the movie. The MOVIE is there to tell a story.

The best trailers are the ones that entice you to see the film, without giving away what happens in the film. Less is more.

  • Well, to be fair, this doesn't really give away the WHOLE STORY. I mean, you have to remember that you've already seen this movie.

Like, the intro video to Persona 3 (game) tells you the whole story....you just don't know that until you've already seen the whole story xD

Besides, this is better than Nu!Trek's trailer, that advertised itself as a straight-up prequel, only for it to turn out that it's an AU with a screwed up Spock. xD

  • What is the name of the theme used for this song again? Thank you

  • VERY GOOD JOB!!!

  • haven't seen you in a while Zuko...welcome back...you need to some of you and your boyz...dam....MORE......where the hell is puck

  • Nice !!! GW Zuko

  • i really really liked it! very good job!

  • very good, but its kinda long for a trailer

usually a trailer is about 2-2 1/2 minutes

  • yes they are on average but there are trailers that have gone up to 5mins long such as Titanic. I was going for a epic style length.

  • i see

really? damn i never knew that

longest trailer ive seen was about 3 mins i think

but yeah, this was definitely good for epic style, after all, it is a great movie, one of the best movies of all time. it definitley deserves an epic style length trailer :D
