I've loved this song for a long time now, and I just realized that the reason I like it so much is that the lyrics describe me so well. At certain points in my life, I've had these same feelings.
Earlier last year I read a theory where they connected Paradichlorobenzene, used in mothballs, and connected that to mothy/Akuno-P.
So I thought.
It's a brainwashing song. Since we watch it, we are the moths attracted to the Paradichlorobenzene, the song. Therefore, we are already brainwashed. We, somehow, as moths, were brainwashed into listening to this.
The one writing "I'm jealous" at the end was the "stray cat" Len was talking to, in Antichlorobenzene Rin made promised the cat she could make things better, while the screen said "... jealous cats and pigs filled with hate" or something like that. Later she killed the "cat"/found the cat dead/the cat committed suicide because Rin could not keep the promise, in the end Rin's inability to change the wrong in the world drove her insane. And at one point Rin and Len meet (not sure how that works...
I asked my science teacher what paradichlorobenzene was and she had no idea other than it being dangerous due to having benzene in the name. She teaches up to year 10...

This song is so thick with irony. It is a song about a person going through an existential crisis, trying in vain to make make sense of the world and find their place in it, trying to come to terms with sides of the human nature we'd rather not acknowledge, and yet it it is sung by someone, or rather something that is not human. Len is constantly asking "What is the meaning of this song?" when for Len, the only reason to exist IS the song, he "lives" for the music.

There is so much different meanings and things it's trying to tell us but it has no importance. The only important thing which is also our question from Rin and Len's songs. "What is this meaning to this song?" That means there is no answer because it keeps talking about different things and they can all mean differently to everyone. This song has brainwashed me. I'm put "PARADICHLOROBENZENE" everywhere...
I wrote it on my arm, it's on my wall, it's my facebook banner (fun to make btw), I learned to spell in in 5 seconds, I'm always singing just the word paradichlorobenzene, and I'm always listening to it. Or maybe I'm just addicted to the song. Hm.

But yeah, most of the time you kicked in the teeth by those "wonderful, kind and loving" people once you get a hold on what you want/need and have the things that mean the most to you.

The people that are truly like that and untainted are children that have been sheltered. Besides that I don't think that any person is truly more kind than they are sick and beastly, unless you're one of the perhaps 100,000 out of the population. A rarity.

@kagamineRenari Humans are physically weak, but cmon, we're on the top of the food chain. We (most of us) live comfortably. I don't understand whats so bad about some of our emotions. My emotions shape me to who I am, and getting rid of an emotion wouldn't make me human anymore. What I don't understand is why humans, instead of adapting to the environment like every other animal, change the environment to our needs. Idunno. Like Rin said, I don't know what is good or bad. xD

@kagamineRenari I'd say that this world is very beautiful without knowledge of science. I like to think clouds are ...something, rather than particles of gas. We could interpret things ourselves. Living in delusions (one way to put it) But yeah, some thing are better left unknown. I always thought we were corrupt but have you ever understand that we're just.. humans? @kagamineRenari Well...that is science. I don't think I could completely accept it yet, so I'm agnostic, rather than atheist. As for us being "mere humans", us thinking that way, makes us humans. We are the strongest species on Earth. So why do we compare us to "God", or "gods"? Always was wondering. When I was younger, I would sometimes have a strange moment as to realize that I'm actually alive. Don't have it as much anymore, need to fix that. This is philosophy, psychology,etc

If your talking about benzene the substance, it's somehow related to gasoline and other petrochemicals but it has a sweet scent hence, labeled as an aromatic chemical. It's also carcinogenic.

3: I'm not sure for this one, but I think it's a chemical with a smell (just guessing)

To finish for XiaoKyonko: All the while, he starts seeing himself and his works as being so pathetic that their very existence is sinful, even his own feelings about how his works are torn down. That's my basic interpretation. My interpretaton is partly influenced by my own experiences as an aspiring author and poet. I know how it feels to have your works torn apart by over criticism, and it really can tear you apart, both mentally and emotionally. Anyways, that's it. ^.^

@XiaoKyonko It 's open to interpretation. My personal interpretation is thus: Len, in this song, is a poet or author or artist of some sort. He wants to create a great work, but is constantly torn down by people being overly critical. He looks at the works that inspire him, and is filled with jealousy because he feels so inferior to their creators. The feelings of helplessness cause him to question why he's alive, and he goes insane, hurting himself. I'll finish on the next comment (out of space
