John Paul II that if our child is a boy, we'll take our baby's name from "Karol" which is his real name. And yes, our child is a boy, and he was born on January 15, 2012, the 17th anniversary of his last day here in our country. Thanks Bl. John Paul II for your intercession, to God be the glory!

we,who have lived to see that visit(live or in tv) are very lucky,it'll probably take alot of time to happen again.though,i'm no religious person,i was once religious and felt great during the papal visit.
we're also lucky that time we're having great reconstruction of our nation and we had better leadership that time than the next 2,which made the papal visit more llke a granduer in our history.
this is just not like a song but a prayer for each one of us... we have to share our love so that we reach the peace that we had in every nation and evry countries...

I was there! Stayed at the Luneta from Saturday to Sunday just to be able to attend the closing mass. The 1995 World Youth Day was the best event ever held in the Philippines. It was a show of force from a Catholic nation and an amazing celebration of faith. I will never forget this experience as long as i live. I love this song!
I do really regret that I was only 5 years old way back then when this event took place. Thus, I didn't have the opportunity to see the pope. My parents were busy in their respective jobs and did not even mentioned it to me somehow.
the first and the most memorable world youth day...although it was short lived because on march 1995 flor contemplacion was executed to death in singapore.. and in may 1995 senatorial elections was not peaceful...
but truly this was one of the most memorable events that took place in manila..

I was only 9 when Pope John Paul II visited Manila. I wanted to attend but my mom did not let me because there are too many people plus no one will be there to accompany me. I just watched it on TV at home. This is probably one of the things that I will forever regret because that was the only chance for me to see Pope John Paul II and I let it slip away ;-(

we,who have lived to see that visit(live or in tv) are very lucky,it'll probably take alot of time to happen again.though,i'm no religious person,i was once religious and felt great during the papal visit.
we're also lucky that time we're having great reconstruction of our nation and we had better leadership that time than the next 2,which made the papal visit more llke a granduer in our history.

this has truthfully true... pope john paul the second was one of the greatest person i know... being there with him in the world youth day in 1995 was one of the things i will never forget! this country of ours is truely blesses with such honor from his visit... thought he had already gone to heaven his legacy still continues.... just do respect the current pope just with in respect to the seat of peter... lets not judge the catholic religion base on one persons fault.... lets just pray

I got goosebumps every time i heard this song, i was grade 6 then and during my graduation we sung this together with my profs..so memorable...I remember that i envy my older cousins who are in high school and college, they are the delegates, but those times are so precious... thank you for uploading :)

I was there! Stayed at the Luneta from Saturday to Sunday just to be able to attend the closing mass. The 1995 World Youth Day was the best event ever held in the Philippines. It was a show of force from a Catholic nation and an amazing celebration of faith. I will never forget this experience as long as i live. I love this song!

I do really regret that I was only 5 years old way back then when this event took place. Thus, I didn't have the opportunity to see the pope. My parents were busy in their respective jobs and did not even mentioned it to me somehow.

the first and the most memorable world youth day...although it was short lived because on march 1995 flor contemplacion was executed to death in singapore.. and in may 1995 senatorial elections was not peaceful...
but truly this was one of the most memorable events that took place in manila..

nagpadala na po ng invitation kay Pope Benedict ang UST na pumunta dito on 2011 for UST's 400th anniversary. Reply na lang ng Vatican ang hinihintay regarding that. Pagdasal po natin na matuloy ito sa 2011. :)

I was only 9 when Pope John Paul II visited Manila. I wanted to attend but my mom did not let me because there are too many people plus no one will be there to accompany me. I just watched it on TV at home. This is probably one of the things that I will forever regret because that was the only chance for me to see Pope John Paul II and I let it slip away ;-(

coz that was the last moments that we have with our dad...
im just happy that we all experienced the happiness of seing the p0pe in our own country,,because our whole family felt blessed...
