@Lajko1 My cats do the same and are "común europeos" (stray cats in Spain are called that way). Most cats do the same (and there has been about 60 in 6 years in my home). And they usually love playing with water.

This is excellent :) Had a right giggle. Yeah they sure do go nuts on catnip :) But it only lasts 15-20 min before the effect wears off so I just watch them and laugh :) So sweet.

Pidge99 - you're right! I know for a fact Stitch is aware of the difference between a dot and a mouse: he brings in mousies to play with (sometimes a bird) but he still hasn't ever found a laser pointer and brought that in! I'll have to make a video of him with mice & birds.
Be sure to check out "Say NO to Catnip - Rock version". Same opening, but the last half has some really crazy stuff of the cat shredding his kitty bed. (And for those that care - no laser pointer in it anywhere.)
Very funny spoof, but my cat really does act that way on catnip. My vet finally told me either to live in a catnip free home or be prepared to invest in a really good first aid kit and make sure my tetanus shots were up to date.

Pidge99 - you're right! I know for a fact Stitch is aware of the difference between a dot and a mouse: he brings in mousies to play with (sometimes a bird) but he still hasn't ever found a laser pointer and brought that in! I'll have to make a video of him with mice & birds.

Very funny spoof, but my cat really does act that way on catnip. My vet finally told me either to live in a catnip free home or be prepared to invest in a really good first aid kit and make sure my tetanus shots were up to date.

It is a Pixie-Bob. It is a new breed from the pacific Northwest. Really cute - some think they are a cross breed of a domestic cat and a bob-cat. They act like a puppy. The breed is now recognized by the national cat association.

this was clever and entertaining. only a real cat lover gets the humor in this. i have 5 cats and some like catnip others dont. the ones that do, act just like that!!! so just enjoy the video for what it is.
