AdventGuard33, I disagree that the early music was 'behind' (or contributing to) our generation's complacent nature. The music was a manifestation of the rebellion against the beginnings of the governmental infringement into our lives. The 60's and 70's were a result of what was started in the 40's and 50's. That early music is the last surviving remnant of what was left then of our freedom of expression. It wasn't long after that political correctness set in and took hold. Let's reverse it!
