  • Tony Jaa 's Muay Thai in the world.

  • Tony Jaa is awesome, I really hope he can get into a movie with Jackie Chan (as a main character not supporting or a stunt double for someone else) before Jackie retires.

  • best fight technique

  • Tony Jaa please please please please please please teach me..... maynard.cockburn@gmail.com

  • Too speed for me

  • มวยไทยคือศิลปะการต่อสู้ที่สวยงาม

  • This maybe a routine, but you better believe that's just so he can show off the REALLY fancy techniques. I can tell just watching the guy move he's got INCREDIBLE core strength and stamina. If you fought him in real life there'd be no fancy moves, just a quick well placed grapple or strike and you'd be either crippled or in a coma for the rest of your life.

  • first time watching this dude , i think his really close 2 Bruce lee damn sick shit

  • hell yeah

  • i love his moves it was so cool

  • He's a little fucker.

  • HE IS NO JOKE....THAT KICK WILL SEND U IN A DEEP COMA...(((REALTALK)))

  • @SDupe44 Just wanted you to know that there is a history of magnificence beyond JKD. MMA is a sport where in dark ages, death was normal and ancient renaissance bad asses actually killed with their knowledge where Bruce Lee won a few competitive boxing matchs. Fighting systems were different and with reason, kept secret. My other point was to not underestimate. Had you known JKD is a foundation of women martial arts, you might of not insulted one's intelligence in previous responses. Now sleep.

  • AWESOME video! I think true martial artists can still appreciate this even learning from another system.

  • If you know about Wing Chun, its origin started with women, Yim Wing Chun in a time after the destruction of the Southern Shaolin Temple. If you go to China and ask to learn Wing Chun and JKD, you will be ridiculed. All what you speak of is the External side, once you learn the INTERNAL aspects of it all, I think you would be smarter in your response. Basically JKD came from Wing Chun which its roots came from women martial arts.

  • @HANGER187 Cool story brah...Did you know stupidity started with guys...Crazy eh..ohh and we invented the Japanese language too..do some look'n about Hiragana :)

  • @davidgsr2k How about staying on topic? Its nice that you know something irrelevant to the subject...just like an idiot would.

  • I met tony before

  • @Jaminham101 I meet you'r mom before

  • @davidgsr2k U r a sour little shit arent you? Want to fight? I do.

  • tony jaa is a very good and qualified martial artist.i think u all agree

  • that Chop Some Bong is a killer move.

And that's no Pho Phuc Lai.

  • It's traditional Muay Thai

  • @iPsyd9 called muay thai boran

  • esse cara é demais, queria ser aluno dele..

  • Omg

  • is that phil nurse?

  • @xdonnix tertretret

  • mma cant compare to the efficient effectiveness of muay boran specially from a muay boran master mma is watered down and many fighter use all of ther same arts

  • @greendagger87 Depends of what you mean effective. Muay boran is listed in the true martial arts with pagkration which actually were martial arts used in war in order to kill with hands. MMA even if its really fierce your objective its not to kill or leave handicaped your opponent its a sport. Dont get me wrong i have trained Muay thai Muay Boran and MMA all of those are awesome but nothing is perfect and at the end as always depends on the person using them (as you mentioned)

  • @Tsoglani55 mma is simply watered down it has no tue purpose other than being a sport muay thai itself is rendered a sport no matter how many styles or cncepts u adapt andf use unless u fully maser everyone it has no point

  • @eeeee

    fdgerger

  • Sorry, are these demonstrations or sparring? I can't tell?

  • @PYates77 a demo....

  • Holy shit...AMAZING

  • That actually Looks more like Muay Boran. Which literally means "ancient boxing"

  • @vamtheanomaly It is Muay Boran : )

  • TONY JAA DOES ALL HIS OWN STUNTS & HE CAN REALLY FIGHT, HE IS A EXPERT IN 3 FIGHTING STYLES, HE FIGHTS IN FILMS, HE DOES NOT FIGHT AS A SPORT, HE HAS BEEN ASKED IN INTERVIEWS IF HE CONSIDEERS A CAREER, BUT HAS NOT SAID ANYTHING ELSE.

  • insane high kick

  • iam 3,778,868 viewer ...

  • I've been training hard in Wing Chun for a while now, but was thinking about doing Muay Thai on the weekends.

  • the mustang has galloped on your face. :D

  • i'm viewer no. 3,775,515 that was an awesome demo

  • I wonder if Tony has a bodyguard

  • tony ja.......the next bruce leee!!!!!.....xd

  • asd

  • @SDupe44 there is no point of jet kone do.the point is bruce is good not jds.he has 5 best, timing, speed, faking, improvisation and lastly and the most important one he is energy bomb.no jds can give u that.

  • Tony's elbows, THHHHEEEEYY'RRE GREAT!

  • Comment removed

  • Now do you believe in 7' 6" round house kicks because I-once seen a 116 kilo pretty fit man do one once to relieve some tension & avoid an argument & he'd never once trained for it so obviously he was a gifted natural unlike Tony Jaa who seems a gifted natural with the 7000+ (?) hours training to go with it...

I-would SOOO love to go to China Thailand Indonesia Malaysia & Brazil too...

I-would SOOO love to go to China Thailand Indonesia Malaysia & Brazil too...

    Japan too... (Nice women)

  • sdupe jeet kune do is basically mma it is the most comfortable fighting style u make it ur own

  • some of the moves ressembles southern gung fu like white crane, hop gar and lama pai. and all his locks are seen from chi na or just some modern self defense. he mixes it very well and very creative.

  • What martial arts does Tony Jaa practise?

  • @GuessWhatIsMyName Muay Thai

  • omg everyone knows that the muay thai muay boran and mae mai muay thai is an martial art called legend of eight limb something like that and yeah mixed martial art isn't good enough i have been in mma training and when i got to thailand i go to learn mae mai muay thai and i will just say that a people who think they can beat tony jaa yeah right it's much harder to train muay thai artist then mma and now i know that in my experience that we mma fighter are nearly not as good like him!!...........

  • wowwww tony jaa with long hair,

  • that's muay boran ... if you think he can't hurt anybody you're wrong, muay boran was meant for killing people, this is truly an art

  • Really nice Demo ! :)

  • oh men you would be fucking amazing if you could fight like tony jaa, bruce lee and Ip man in a combined way.. OM fucking G !! LOVE TONY JAAA

  • thumbs up for phil nurse :D

  • schüch

    boa

  • You can be an actor and an martial artist, for example Bruce Lee (Long career of wing chun, was owner to many schools and creator of Jet Kune Do) or Jean Claude Van-Damme (1st dan black belt in Shotokan karate, fight record etc.).

But Tony Jaa and Jackie Chan are just actors. Even tho' they might have learned something (tony jaa muay thai, jackie chan kung fu), it's basic stuff you learn on the first lesson. It's obvious this is acting, cos' you don't move like that in muay thai or in any sport.

  • @Joose93 there are different forms of muay thai. just because most people have one thought of muay thai doesn't mean that there is actually just one! BTW, jackie chan was trained in kung-fu & gymnastics since he was a kid until the age of 18/19 under some grueling circumstances (from 5-6 am to 10-midnight over & over again!) There's a movie that details the training/living environment of the peking opera schools for little children;he was trained by other highly trained kung-fu practicioners!

  • @Joose93 Indeed Kakuichi is right. Tony Jaa hasn't just leanred basics for filming... He himself said that what he does in Ong bak is an ancient form of Muai thai called Muay boran, which is not like the muay thai in the rings. They did this to make the movie more spectacular, the movements more enjoyable to watch. Jackie Chan is trained in various styles of kung fu. Jet li has been doing wushu for 30 years. I think if it were needed all three would be able to kick your bottom pretty well. :))

  • @Teemeah Yes. Ofcourse. As i said they have learned something but have they ever accomplished anything in martial arts? Basically no.

You can't even compare for example Tony Jaa and Jet Li. Or Bruce Lee and Jackie Chan.

Ofcourse i give respect to everyone of these actors i mentioned, but you have to get your facts right gentlemen.

  • WTF this? I wanna see him fighing for real, not doing gimnastics.

  • @GranKnight87 It's a demo, dipshit!

  • Tony Jaa is an acrobat not a fighter, in real life i mean.

  • @samprimmer1 watch the making of the 1st ong bak & see how many people he actually knocked out/injured accidentally on set while filming that movie! He had trouble controlling his power & speed, lol!

  • @kakuichi Yeh because these people weren't trying to hurt him and accidents happen, speed x weight = force, no doubt he can execute Muay Thai techniques superbly . Put him in a real fight though and he wont be anything special, I assure you of this.

Why don't people understand that Tony Jaa can only move well, but FIGHTING, like actually implementing his moves in a real Muay Thai match is a whole different ball game.

Why are there no video's of him in a real match?

  • @samprimmer1 You get a like from me, but I'm not supporting your opinion. He is doing Muay Thai Boran, taught by the only left grandmaster in Bangkok. Muay Thai Boran is a dead fighting style, it's very old... it was taught to kill people as fast as possible. Most of MMA kicks are from Muay Thai. Maybe you know Bren Foster, Taekwondo fighter, world champion, strongest kick and fastest kick of the world.Search a fighting video of him. It must be a reason for this. Force it's not all.

  • @ThaidogFight Basically my point is that Tony Jaa looks amazing on camera but in a real fighting sport like Muay Thai or MMA he would not be very good like everyone seems to think just from watching his films.

I agree, force is not all, a Karate round kick is something like 350pounds weaker than a Muay Thai round kick but a Karate round kick is 30% faster (muay thai has a wider side step = slower)

Anyway I can't wait for the day Tony Jaa enters the ring Vs Ramba Somdet or 1 of the other greats.

  • @samprimmer1

That's right he is no superman...

but it's in all asian fighting sports like that, that the people look like weak (because they aren't big).

Force is very important, but like you say, speed is also important, the angle you hit your enemy, the point of the body you hit. I do Taekwondo for abaout 10 years now, red-black belt, go to competitions very often,... Taekwondo = Speed+Force+Angle of the kicks... it must be the same as in Karate :))

  • @samprimmer1 because he is not a fighter. He is a stuntman. He was trained in gymastics, stunts. Many people who train in martial arts will never fight in a ring. Does that make them bad? Jet Li never had a fight in his life. Martial art is an ART. Jaa is a martial ARTIST, not a fighter. His job is to mesmerize viewers with his speed and grace and not to get his bones cracked in a ring. He never said anywhere that he would like to fight in a ring. Why do people try to assign things to him then?

  • @Teemeah he a real fighter dumb ass go read his bio

  • its toni makkaroni

  • esta e a arte q os grandes guerreiros lutão não é uma daça nem um monte d movimentos sem sentido é uma luta

  • On top of the idiots that don't understand martial arts, they're too stupid to realize that he doesn't practice traditional muay thai. He trains in an ancient style known as muay boran. A fighting style developed for warfare. notice the strikes he does in other videos. Elbow to the sternum, downward elbow to the skull, etc. he does know traditional muay thai but his specialty is boran. He wouldn't be allowed in MMA anyway because he does a lot of moves that would be considered illegal in MMA

  • Tony Jaa... The Thai Chuck Norris.

  • atention dumb ass you tubers who think tony jaa isnt a fighter let me asure you he is not a mixed martial artist but he still can if provoked kick your ass stop bull shiting and talking about he cant really fight cause you wrong any one who trains in martial arts up to a near mastery level can fight but thats when provoked that why most martial arts are labeled self defense stop spewing crap on the internet if you dont know what yore talking about besides you cant compare mma to muay Thia

  • @myspaz13

I love mma but the majority of the fans are just nerd trolls who have a hard on for brock lesnar, i wouldn't get upset over them

  • @myspaz13 that was mae may muay thai, the deadly art ;)

  • Damn. That was impressive. I couldn't believe how easily he trapped his leg. That last move was bananas too. Damn.

  • Tony Jaa is one of the best martial artists who I have ever seen!

  • is there a real video, of tony jaa or bruce lee fighting for real? like till someones k.o?

i think it would be a great fight between tony and bruce. my martial arts heroes!

  • Why the fuck are we comparing martial artist and mixed martial artist? I don't think you want to fuck with either. I wouldn't fuck with a trained mixed martial artist, and i wouldn't fuck with anyone proficient in their martial art - trust me, you'd get your ass kicked.

  • i think tony jaa....isnt a fighter...just a show off.....and likes people to see or think he does martial arts......when he only does the minimal at best

  • @JavaSpitLava you think martial arts is bashing the shit out of another person in a ring? grow up man, martial arts are not even about that. Muay thai, taekwondo, wado ryu (practiced those three myself) jeet kune do.. You name it. Every style of martial arts from the east has their own kata's. Just because MMA and kickboxing is a big money buisiness now people who don't know shit are talking shit about real martial artists.. MMA and kickboxers are fighters. there's a huge difference between them

  • @desecrator88 lol i have done tae kwon from the age of 6 until i was 12....the boxing for 5 years....and kaito of red cloud for the rest....ive been fighting since i was a squirt....i dont think the people in mma even know how to fight....they are all too hesitant and scared to even approach each other......and besides i understand art and grace in martial arts....its just tony....hes not pushing himself....not at all....just a show off ....

  • @JavaSpitLava great to see we're on the same wavelength then... As for Tony.. I don't know.. it's a little bit too perfect i guess.. so i can see your point;) i do really like the 'kick compilation' video from scott adkins:)

  • @desecrator88 dude....look up sesshoumaru....or micah karns.....these dudes do some crazy stuffs.....as for martial arts goes....the best fighter i know...is eshan shafiq.....that dude murders all his matches

  • @JavaSpitLava

Funny how you call Tony a show off and then give us examples of people making lives off acrobatics and showing off. As for shafiq, that guy's style is so reckless i would not dare to call him a great fighter. He has talent, yes, but all those funky moves of his might either enable him to win but just as well lose in a particularily pathetic and dumb way.

  • @NDKfrl true....but its some of the only examples you can share with people over youtube.....becuase theres not much to offer unless you go to a real gym....do real spars...and compete.....thats where all the real action is....lol btw...it was a little contradicting though....all i ment from it was tony isnt pushing himself like sesshoumaru....and micah....as for eshan....hes the only dude who actually fights.....not shows off....

  • @JavaSpitLava You sir are an idiot. Yes, he just does all that fancy shit because he doesn't know martial arts, what a dumbass.

  • @jdkeller83 no what i ment was....most likely, he doesnt know how to handle a real fight.....hes just a traditionalist...nothing wrong with that but he not pushing himself to being greater then he is....hes being a little too safe....im not famous.....but im better then this....

  • tony jaa dance group..

  • Ugh, I hate how people assume that because people fight (professionally) in the ring that they're master fighters in the street. Even Muhammed Ali admitted that he'd get beat up in a street fight. In a street fight all the rules of the ring don't apply. That being said, any MMA fighter or Actor is better off than a layman in the street.

  • the guy with the long hair always gets the head kick

  • By the way, i dont hate on Tony Jaa. He's a good martial artist for sure, its just that people saying he would kick the ass of someone who basically lives off fighting (for real, not for the silver screen) that irks me.

  • Also, by the way, saying Tony Jaa would woop any UFC fighter's ass is also saying he would woop his own professional countrymen fighting Muay Thai at the pro level. It won't happen, those guys will kill him in the ring or on the street.

  • It's amazing how unknowledgeable people are when comparing Jaa to professional MMA fighters. He is an actor who does crazy flashy moves on screen to make people go wow. UFC fighters, well, they fight for a living. Its their livelihood. You telling me someone who trains >6 hours daily would get wooped by someone for trains for the screen? Sure, Tony Jaa would woop your average man on the street, but professional fighters would woop his ass. Badly.

  • It may be acting but "So that a man thinks it, so that he does it" You can tell him no different would you want to fight him?

  • Tony Jaa would beat many UFC fighters, but so would Mohammed Ali or Bruce Lee in his time. This is just Tony Jaa's time

  • wow! :O great warrior!

  • you realize this is fake right ?? it basicly wrestling

  • i wonder how this guy will go in a real fight against real professional when its not cheroagraphed not hating just saying

  • คนไทย

  • I love the vicarious comments from people who don't know martial arts or MMA but speak as though they're qualified and have a right to make any comparisons whatsoever. Listen up all you XBox zeros. It doesn't matter if Anderson Silva can beat up Bruce Lee because the point is Silva is better at MMA and Lee is better at Jeet Kune Do and YOU are better at none of the above. So, what say you go back to playing XBox with your equally unqualified friends and leave the real world to real people.

  • @SDupe44 bruce lee = jeet kune do + wing chun

  • @SDupe44 Totally Agreed,.... My only deal with MMA is the founder himself said he started MMA with Bruce Lee as an inspiration. When everyone who knows Bruce and his philosophy. That fighting for money was not what Bruce was about. Its fine too use him as inspiration but ppl who dont know him think he would be the kinda guys too go into MMA which i not the case. I agree that they are good at what they do and there is not point in fighting over who would be better.

  • Comment removed

  • @SDupe44 didn't bruce lee help develop MMA?

  • @SDupe44 bruce lee is faster than silva and has better attention so anderson silva is just beginner in that.but tony is good in shows he is not real fighter but to be good in shows is also very great.in that he is one of the best of best:).its art like any other and not small one:)

  • @SDupe44 Anderson Silva does have a Akuma/Gouki doll in his house of street fighter, How about that!!!

    ( -.- )

  • Comment removed

  • @SDupe44 Hey now, don't completely knock XBox, I personally enjoy some gaming, and I do martial arts. I've been doing karate for 7 years. I've also done some MMA. And I'm trying to get down a Muay Thai style. Once I have the money and the time, I might train in either Krav Maga or Jiu Jitsu. (Tony Jaa's my hero by the way. :D )

  • Comment removed

  • @SDupe44 I was just joking a bit. It really gets under my skin too. I laugh when people think they're so bad-ass, even though they've never had any fighting experience. Kind of makes me want to kick their ass. :D

  • @SDupe44 Cool story bro.

  • @SDupe44 I think they mean that Lee would beat Silva in a real fight. Not that Bruce Lee is better in mixed martial arts or other way around. :P

  • @IntaCrock silva has not in the level of bruce he is level of good fighter.if the man like bruce would have trained himslef in mma he would be best there also no doubt.he has head and knows how to train and what is useful what is nonsense and most of all he has that dynamic energy and creativity that allows him read opponent and us
