@Goatmon Yes because the Wii version is in 16:9 Widescreen, progressive scan improves the graphics noticably, and the controls work far better than the gamecube controls.

@Johnnymushio Yes but almost nobody has a component cable for the Gamecube. 99% of everyone who had a gamcube had the standard composite cable, where as Wii gamers with a component cable have a much higher percentage. I personally saw a big leap from playing standard Pikmin on GC, to the 16:9 480p Pikmin on Wii. And that doesn't even include the superb leap in the quality of the controls.

It would be cool but I highly doubth it, plus while the Wii doesn't dominate the Gamecube as far as graphical power it has slightly more graphical power than the Gamecube and Nintendo will probably want to push the Wii's power with this new Pikmin.

Im 23, u just stated what i already said - You need a gamecube style controller for certain games as the motion things are useless. Only thing i can say there good for is the sports & the wii fit. I don't like it but Xbox is a million times better than wii for gameplay / style / graphics and xbox cost £80.00 less! It's all about PS3 anyway best system !! ;)

for FPS wii is the best, sports and for casual gaming because its work like a mouse. For versus game you need a classic or gamecube controller.

I don't have classic controller but I have almost all NTSC-U on wii... and the only bad contols title only for me was about 5-10 games.

Man, you don't even know what you are talking about.

Most games use the same control scheme, joypad/joystick to move and action buttons to perform moves; the wii just adds a pointer and simple secundary motion controls for some games, which works very well for games like Metroid Prime and Super Mario Galaxy.

Now, if your son is so retarded that he can't concentrate on pushing the button and moving the remote is his problem but Wii has many good games with simple and common control schemes.

The only difference between Super Mario Galaxy and it's precesors is the pointer and spining, Metroid Prime pointer controls are not new wither, just more complex, New Super Mario Bros. uses almost the same control scheme platformers have been using for decades, RPG's like Tales of and Arc Rise Fantasia, keep using the same control methods of move and select; figthing and racing games like Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Mario Kart Wii can also be controlled equally to their previous installments.
