this wasn't a review you just said words like great, you didn't touch on possible plot holes, like the fact if a massive robot comes to earth and we blew it up, surely whom ever created it is going to have some kind of monitoring device.

@JudgeBuddha Well the focus of the narrative wasn't where the robot came from, in regards to who made it. I like to think it was from a robot planet, like the transformers. The story was about the paranoia of the army, as I do mention how the film was set during the cold war. So there was a lot of tension between the nations. In the same sense of the film The Day The Earth Stood Still. This film makes the alien and the robot one and adds elements of friendship from ET.

@JudgeBuddha name one sci fi ET story that ended with the earth exploding like it should, but didn't because of human intervention. You cant, because logically they should all end real quick but that doesnt make much of a story does it?
