English accents are so retarded... you guys all sound so elderly and boring. PS, it's pants, not trousers. What, you think this is the 15th century or something? English wierdos. (¬_¬)
Well ya know, if Americans heard this, or the British heard someone who doesn't sound as British, they'd throw their wiimote into the screen and shout "WHAT IS THIS!! THIS IS UNPATRIOTIC GOD DAMN IT/I DARE SAY!! MY COUNTRY RULES ALL!!!"
If the American narrator reminds me of George Carlin narrating Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends, this narrator reminds me of the Railway Series narrators Willie Rushton and Ted Robbins.
@Barbaryotaku Ok, thank you. Then it comes in spanish too. I don't mind if the box and the manual are in english, but I was worried about in-game text and voices, because the spanish edition is dubbed in spanish. If it says "5in1" then the disc is the same. Now I can buy it safely. Thank you very much.
that's not really a brittish accent. Not all of Britain speak like that, The Welsh, Scottish and Irish have a completely different accent. And not all of England speak like that either
@MrRobertSama I didn’t mean for this to go on in typical YouTube argument fashion ;) But I’m from NI, which is part of the UK along with Great Britain (England, Scotland and Wales).
I know that pants means underwear in England, so I understand changing it to trousers for their release, but... For some reason saying "trousers" is even funnier than "pants." I guess it's because the statement is already so strange, that when I hear a word that is so unusual to me, it makes it even seem even stranger.
Wow, for once Nintendo actually tried to cater to British English? I'm American, but I still find that pretty cool considering Nintendo usually seems to ignore that kind of thing. I'm not sure what to think of the grass feeling like trousers as opposed to pants, now. xD

I imagine the British narrator was reading all this and thinking to himself, "What the bloody hell am I reading??"
Hilarious all the same though.

This is different.I could of sworn when I played the game Kirby said pants.BUT TROUSERS IS MORE BETTER IF A DUDE LIKE THE NARRATOR SAYS IT.:D
WolfTehWolfeh 9 months ago
@WolfTehWolfeh In the UK, pants are what you wear underneath your trousers. Even so, Kirby wears neither.

Doesn't he say "down the hatch" instead of "I bet it's yummy" in the American release?

Why the hell did they need 2 different narrators for the same release?

In the 1800's "pants" was considered a horribly offensive word in England. Is that why the British say "trousers" instead?
