Hi, This looks great, but I have a technical question...... Can you combine the video footage with seperate audio file? eg: filming a musician playing an electronic instrument where the audio is recorded through 'line out' to a desktop recording studio on my PC to ensure good sound quality. I have the audio recording gear but am now looking for a good HD camcorder to capture the video only. Will this camera suit? Im not too technically minded!!! Is this a good choice? thanks. This video was part of the reason why I bought an NEX-5 last year... and I still regularly watch it... inspiring stuff :)

I've got a few questions - how do you manually focus so well? With the new firmware it's a bit easier but this video was made before FW4 came out. Whenever I manually focus, it causes the camera to move around a lot (really need to get a follow focus I think).

Also, how did you encode the movie for youtube? it's really nice quality!

I've just bought an HXR NX5 Video camera and was thinking about buying your camera as a second for incognito footage when in situations like wedding or public places, your footage has just confirmed to me that a £400 camera can match a semi pro £4000 camera in edit. If I had been using a video camera it would have put people off. Not to discredit your artistic ability, I've been teaching video for a long time now and you my friend have the golden gift, make sure you use your talent well done.

Yes you can manual focus the 16 mm:-)

the 16-f2.8 is a very good lens.

The 18-55 zoom is ok.

Their isnt a mic input right? I saw you can plug in a special mic into the mount on the top but you have to buy it special.

Great shooting, accompanied with nice editing. The editing and particularly the 'Bloom' soundtrack made me think that something quite sinister was just round the cormer. Almost like the opening sequence to some kinda thriller/horror. I know not a new trick (Rumblefish, Sin City, Schindlers List, etc...), but imagine to occasional spotting of colour on some of the subjects, as they are 'tracked' walking through the streets. Nice one bro.
