  • u did that logo with catasia....

  • @Ramzz2936 Did you mean Camtasia? If you did, then no, you are wrong. I made my Musicarta logo in Photoshop.

  • @ukcnitro @ukcnitro Sorry about the awful spelling in my last comment. I was on an iPad during a very bumpy car ride - typos are tricky to avoid :)

  • @ukcnitro Think about the setting that you are changing. You are taking away a limitation. So, you're not changing your Internet speed from your provider, to u are merely taken away the unnecessary limitation imposed by windows so that you are running at optimal speed, what you have paid for. I this way webpages and other internet mediums should, indeed, be faster. I hope I was able to shed some light on this for you. Have a great day!

  • hey, its me, nice video bro! just a question, why do you have that solid theme instead of the normal one?

  • @pspkider There are a few reasons:

    1. It makes the computer faster.

    2. Although my computer is so powerful that changing to the classic theme makes hardly any difference, if at all, to performance, my older computers benefited greatly from using this theme instead and, as a result, I have become accustomed to using this theme, actually preferring it to the normal Windows 7 one!

    3. I hate transparency - it's just ugly (I am aware you can turn off transparency separately though).

  • @Musicarta ah i see, i am guessing you don't like many science fiction stuff either like in movies...

  • @pspkider Hehe, they're not my favourite type of media, no :)

  • Thanx for helping.

  • @TheKgparmar You're most welcome. Thanks for commenting and have a great day!

  • When i double click Network I dont get Folders it gives me Files with Prohibits on the names

  • Thank you.....its really help me

  • @Shell64mCp You're most welcome. Thanks for commenting and have a great day!

  • Lol: 3.81 Mbps Download, 0.57 Mbps Upload

  • @ProphecyPwns Sorry, I'm not following. What's funny about listing your download and upload speed? Is that before or after? We have nothing to compare it with.

  • @Musicarta Oh sorry, after your tutorial. Which I found very helpful! Sped up my internet connection by 1.2Mbps!

  • @ProphecyPwns Wow, thanks for sharing these great statistics with us - that's superb! Sorry if I came across as somewhat agitated in my previous comment :)

  • @Musicarta No problem! I didn't think you sounded agitated, just right for my being an idiot and forgetting major details! If anything, I'm sorry

  • @ProphecyPwns That's most kind of you; thanks for taking time to continue replying. Have a great day!

  • @Musicarta does this just speed up your actuel broadband

  • @ProphecyPwns really :-/

  • @kingsamrat1993 speedtest . net/result/1749654652.png

  • @kingsamrat1993 i follow the steps but not work for me , anywaz thanks !

  • Thank You!

  • @ImpishEight4 No problem. I'm glad you found the video useful! Have a great day!

  • Before:

    Download: 1.89

    Upload: 0.271

    After:

    Download: 1.94

    Upload: 0.344

    Not a big improvement :(

  • @FirstGenerationGames But an improvement none the less! You can't expect there to be a sudden massive increase in speed. Just think of what you have just changed: you have removed the 20% limitation so there difference is going to be considerable, not massive. Surely any increase is a good increase, considering this process doesn't take long? :)

  • Does this work with a Wireless WiFi connection?

  • @Amir8PRODUCTIONS Yes, it doesn't matter whether you are using a wired or wireless network.

  • my speed went down :(

  • @GuitaRHer095 Impossible. It is a complete coincidence that your internet speed happened to become slower (because of a different reason) as this particular time, and that's presuming that you're not just imaging it. Did you actually do a speed test before and after? Please do two internet speed tests, one with it set at 20% and the other with it set at 0%. Feel free to comment back with the data.

  • in window vista is can't open that"gpedit.msc.

    so how i want do?

  • @ctfana90 In future, please watch the video carefully and/or read the video description before posting a comment of this nature. I state very clearly in both instances that this setting can be changed in all versions of windows APART from:

    XP Home Edition

Vista Home Basic and Home Premium versions

    Windows 7 Home Premium

Any versions of Windows that were released before XP.

I hope I was now able to shed some light on this.

  • Man,I have Windows XP and when I opet administrative templates I hav eonlz folder windows components, and when I open that I have 3 folders its named: Search,Windows Media Player and Windows update...Please help...(Sorry for my bad English) Thanks !

  • @igorcarful No problem; I have understood. Try this: Right click 'Administrative Templates' (in the left margin of the group policy window) and click add/remove templates. You will then see a dialog box with a list of templates. Click Add and this should open the Windows\system32\inf folder and list a number of .ADM files. From this list, add in Conf.adm and System.adm. Close the Add/Remove templates box and you should now have the requied options, the network folder included. Have a great day

  • cant find Qos for windows xp home

Vista Home Basic and Home Premium versions

I hope I was now able to shed some light on this. There's nothing you can do to change this setting in Windows XP Home.

  • @DeathXLight28 You're most welcome. I always try to help out my subscribers/viewers whenever I can to the best of my knowledge. I'm pleased that you appeciate it and that I was able to help you out. Have a great day!

  • hey on my ad. template.. the only folder that appear is Windows component.. i cant find the network .. :||

  • @DeathXLight28 Try this. Right click 'Administrative Templates' (in the left margin of the group policy window) and click add remove templates. You will then have a dialg box with a list of templates. Click Add and this should open the Windows\system32\inf folder and list a number of .ADM files. • @Musicarta wow thanks !

  • @adityagandotra1 Thanks for commenting and subscribing; I really appreciate your support!

  • thnx man it workssssss,i've subscribed u.....

  • press start( on keyboard) + r and it will bring up run

  • @Mr5AM5UN9 Yes, that's one of many ways to open the run dialog, others being: - Shortcut in the start menu of many machines - Shortcut in the Accessories sub-menu - Searching "run" in the Windows Vista/7 search box and hitting enter. - Typing "c:\WINDOWS\system32\rundll32.exe shell32.dll`,#61" into the command prompt and hitting enter (only works on 32-bit machines and on some operating systems).

Did I forget any methods? If so, don't hesitate to let me know.

  • Windows 7 RUN IT AS ADMINISTRATOR...

  • @LollerJoller If one is using Windows 7 Home Premium, no matter what you do (including running as administrator) you will not be able to run gpedit.msc. Quite simply, if you have Windows 7 Professional or Ultimate, you will be able to run gpedit.msc.

  • its not working on mine... :(

  • @TheAarrick More specific please.

  • ive waited 5 minutes to see your 2 second intro

  • @valdivia562 Your internet connection is simply too poor to stream video. If it's that bad, you should be contacting your internet provider - that just isn't right. If you are only a particularly slow broadband (or god forbid dial-up) package, you should consider upgrading. This video will increase the speed somewhat, but it is not a miracle worker. If your internet is unbelievable slow in the first place, this video will help but it will not solve the problem.

  • @Musicarta i have the supposed to be fast verizon fios internet

  • @valdivia562 As I said you need to contact Verizon then as something isn't right. Although unlikely, another possibility is that your computer is very poor and is limiting the connection.

  • @DJIronSmile

Windows key is the key with the windows logo!

  • @vanbagdi he meant windows activation key

  • my windows couldn't run gpedit msc !

so at lest my i know the intro music and i will be grateful to you ?

    like.

  • i have just done it on windows 7

  • @MrSuperastrix and did it work?? cos i got windows 7 tooo...!

  • hey friend, i`m using window 7 home premium. i cant get the directory of 'gpedit.msc'. is it mean that my window cannot change the setting?

  • @alan880513 Hey i got Windows 7 ultimate (home premium) too, but it works fine for me... make sure:

    1. You've opened the 'Run' thing, Not the search bar in start thing

    2. Make sure you spelled it right it's gpedit.msc

    3. Make sure you presses enter or the 'search' button

    4. If done it right, There you go!

    5. Thanks for readying XD

    Hope I helped :D BYEEEEE...!!!

  • @alan880513 The operating systems than can run 'gpedit.msc' are clearly stated in both the video and description. I'm afraid that Windows 7 Home Premium cannot run 'gpedit.msc', only the professional and ultimate versions of Windows 7 can complete this process. Sorry that I could not be of more practical help but this is simply not possible for you.

  • @Musicarta i think mine is a fake version of window 7 and it can still run it :3

  • how much faster will the internet run, and what's the difference between having 20% or 100% would that make the internet run even slower ?

  • @Musicarta thanks

  • where is windows key?

  • @DJIronSmile I can't see how this is relevant to the video, but the windows key (on your keyboard) can almost always be found just right (directly next to) your left 'Ctrl' (Control) button. I hope I was able to help you out. Have a great day!

  • @Musicarta "Windows key" is not that. "Windows key" is A.K.A a Serial Number...

  • @SSBMsounds Oh I see, you meant a Windows serial number. Windows key can mean either, so my presumptions were not incorrect. In addition, I can't really see how this question is relevant to this video, but I will answer it anyway. You can find your product key on your computer (usually at the back or on the bottom) or on the installation disc holder inside the Windows package. You can also check your manuals that came with the computer.

  • @Musicarta I didn't ask the original comment, I just replied.

  • @DJIronSmile It's the windows button on your keyboard... the one which is used to oped up start

  • HI mate am jayakody from sri lanka...thnks and. i would like to provide any accommodation if you want to stay here...jayakodydj@yahoo.com.au

  • what number i but in that box?

  • @NgRaEr I say and demonstrate very clearly in the video on exactly what to do. Please watch the whole video again carefully in future before asking questions. I'm always happy to assist my viewers with problem but not when it is something that I demonstrate very clearly in the video itself.

You should put 0 in the box for the fastest internet speed.

  • @Musicarta thx dude i sub for you

  • @NgRaEr You're very welcome. Thanks for subscribing and I hope you have a great day!

  • works on ultimate 64

  • @sk84lifejd Indeed, this is what is meant by:

Note that this setting can be changed in all versions of windows apart from:

    XP Home Edition

Vista Home Basic and Home Premium versions

    Windows 7 Home Premium

Any versions of Windows that were released before XP.

Windows (7) Ultimate is not listed and should therefore work. Thanks for commenting and clarifying this. Have a great day!

  • nice

  • @dkverma000 Thanks; I'm glad you found it useful. Have a great day!

  • works for me on win 7 ultimate 32

  • It doesnt works on WIN 7

  • @dotaboy37 Please read my previous comment below which lists the operating system and versions that this process works on.

  • where is the run button ?!? -,- i've got win7 !!

  • @YazzDrugzzz I've got Windows 7 too and it is used in this video! It's just you don't happen to have 'Run...' in your start menu! Just type run in the start menu search bar and hit enter.

  • @Musicarta thanks man :D

  • @YazzDrugzzz Your very welcome; I'm glad I was able to help you out. Have a great day!

  • I clearly say in both the video and description:

Note that this setting can be changed in all versions of windows apart from:

    XP Home Edition

Vista Home Basic and Home Premium versions

    Windows 7 Home Premium

Any versions of Windows that were released before XP.

So yes. This process does work with all versions of Windows XP APART from Windows XP Home Edition.

  • Is this working on windows XP??

  • @KadirKeskinmaher1 Yes, this process works on Windows XP (all version apart from Home).

  • no change man

  • @TheGopi15 Please consult the comment that I have made previously which is currently in the 'Top Comments' section with 8 likes. I see little point in me formulating another response similar to this one.

  • i wonder does that people from you know that internet guys... are they gonna know that my internet speed is faster??? than ofcourse they are gonna send bigger bills to pay for the internet....cuz i am 11 and my dad would not like that .... xD

  • @MMandMStv No, don't worry about it. Internet speed and actual data downloaded are very different things. Data that is downloaded (from loading web pages, watching videos, downloading files etc.) is the only thing which is sometimes capped on internet contracts. In addition, not all contracts necessarily have a limit. Anyway, internet speed (what this video changes) only affects the speed at which you download the data, not how much you download. As a result, you can do this without worrying :)

  • @Musicarta ok thank u very much

  • @MMandMStv No problem at all. Thanks for replying and have a great day!

  • @MMandMStv Continued... Think of it more like this: before following the steps in this video, your internet speed is being limited by the settings on your computer. By changing the setting, you are telling your compouter to run at maximum internet speed - ie. the speed that you are paying for from your internet provider. You're not increasing the speed to above your contract as such, you're merely running at the speed which you are paying for. I hope that cleared things up. Have a great day!

  • thank you nerdy british guy!

  • @waddakhan Lol, thanks for watching and commenting!

  • thanks man it helped cause when i play Modern warfare 2 its fast now on my pc

  • @coolban241 Glad to hear it. Thanks for commenting and have a great day!

  • @Musicarta No Problem

  • @coolban241 i play Modern Warfare 3

  • @TheWarhammer13 sweet me to for pc

  • Thanks!!!! :P

  • @TheRealmOfBenadze Your welcome! Thanks for commenting and a have a great day!

  • @xxXBrutalBassXxx What do you mean by "is it save?". Did you mean "does it save the changes that you make to the settings?". If you did, then yes, it does.

  • its so hard to watch the video its so slow it keeps buffering I have been waiting for 5 minutes

  • @nerdygirl50 As I've said in previous comments, if it's that bad, you should be contacting your internet provider - that just isn't right. If you are only a particularly slow broadband (or god forbid dial-up) package, you should consider upgrading. This video will increase the speed somewhat, but it is not a miracle worker. If your internet is unbelievable slow in the first place, this video will help but it will not solve the problem.

  • @nerdygirl50 it's because the video has [HD]. and that's why its very slow!

  • @cadavillo1 No, this is completely false. The video on YouTube has the option to play in full HD (1080p) but that doesn't mean that watching it in 360p (or 240p and 480p for that matter) will be any slower than a video that was rendered in SD (Standard Quality). That is why YouTube has the option to playback in different quality settings, else that option would be pointless! In addition, I have already answered that comment about 3 weeks ago with possible reasons for nerdygirl50's internet speed

  • @nerdygirl50 increase your internet speed

  • Thank you!!!

  • @SuperHobo1234567 No problem; I'm glad I could help you out. Thanks for commenting and have a great day!

  • i cant even watch this video omg !

  • Jesus fugging christ, I can't even get passed the intro to this video, it buffers every 2 seconds. Literally.

  • @iLuke182 Blimey; if it's that bad, you should be contacting your internet provider - that just isn't right.

  • gud

  • @swaraj19333 Thanks :)

  • hello....i double clicked network and then appeared two files.....offline files and network connections....what should i do next...in those files i didn't found anything about badwidth

  • @Jasmin721 sorryy i guess it was some kind of mistake....i just repeated what i did before and now it appeared.....thanks a lot man....enjoy ;)

  • youtube.com/watch?v=I37ni49O7u8

    hopes this video helps!

  • i is not work for me

i have normal speed of my bsnk broadband

which is 65 to 75/80 kbps but i want to increas it

this trick is not work for me

  • @gauravrock72 As I clearly said, this isn't 100% effective. However, the majority of comments here have noted that they have seen a considerable increase in their speed. Don't forget that the speed change may be so minimal for your particular connection that you did not notice it. How do you know that 'this trick doesn't work for you' by the way. Did you do an internet speed test before and after the change? If so which one did you use?

  • Thanks this works. It didn't speed up really fast like before because my sister is using the internet with 20 TABS.

  • @videomakingstudio Thanks for commenting; I appreciate it.

  • yes

i speed up my internet speed really

    thanks

  • YOU NEED TO RESTART THE PC ???

  • @TheVasilezation I don't think you do unless it prompts you, but I wold anyway, just to be sure.

  • thanks :) works for me in a cybercafe

  • @doublesnake18 Great! I'm glad I could help you out. Have a great day!

  • @Musicarta thanks ^^

  • @doublesnake18 You're most welcome. Thanks for commenting and have a great day!

  • @assholee120 No problem; thanks for commenting.

  • thanks u it work fine

  • @Andystechhelp I'm glad to hear it.

  • thanks a lot dude..it works for me

  • when i have to type gpedit.msc ther is an error windows cannot find file gpedit.msc make sure you typed the name correctly and then try agin to search for a fileclick start button and search the file

  • @BlackMrDeath I have answered this several times:

    1. In the video (I say: "Of you get an error message similar to this one then you have either...)

    2. In the description

    3. In the comments section countless times to other people that have asked this question.

Please read the reply comment that I posted to ConorWatt1 on page 2 of the comments. In addition to what I say in that comment, you also need to be on N administrator account of that computer (the main account). Have a nice day.

  • subscribed... :) thanks.. by the way i like your accent.. :)

  • @belovebyme1 Why thank you. I suppose it makes a change from most screencasters being American =) Have a great day!

  • I did all this and now i can't play games on servers cant login into steam and cant download torrent what to do pls help

  • @BlackMrDeath This could be a coincidence as these things did not occur for me. However, to change your system back to the way it was before, have the dot in enabled, type 20 in the bandwidth box and then click apply and then OK. Restart your PC and see if steam etc. works again. If it doesn't, do what I said above again but after clicking apply, put a dot in "Not Configured" followed by OK. Restart and see if it fixes it. If it doesn't, it's a coincidence and not because of this process.

  • what would happen if you put 100% is it the same thing as 0%

  • @Juan31411 I'm not sure exactly what would happen (I'm sure the internet would still work) but one thing's for sure, it wouldn't speed up your internet connection =)

  • AWSOME

  • thnx alot man i subed u can u sub back thnx alot

  • WOOP this is awsome :D thnx subbed

  • @mclewismc Thanks for subscribing.

  • Hey,all.

After I type gpedit.msc in run,its say ''gpedit.msc'' not exist....how to fix it??

  • @bob10308 I have answered this several times:

    1. In the video

    2. In the description

    3. In the comments section (even on page 1) for other people that have asked this question.

Please read the reply comment that I posted to ConorWatt1 below. After I post this comment it will be on either page 1 or page 2 of the comments. Have a nice day.

  • Yes tnx men my browser loads fast ! I sub for the thank...

  • @marfred050198 Thank you very much! I appreciate it.

  • wont work since i have vista home prem

  • @8swordedninja Yes, as I already mentioned in the video and description. Nothing you can do I'm afraid.

  • @Musicarta The c cleaner help a bit, since i already deleted 14 gb manually last week, and 1 gb with the c cleaner, thanks man, subscribed :D

  • @8swordedninja I'm glad to hear it. Thanks for subscribing. By the way, I may make an update to my speed up video(s) as the Wind Utilities one is a bit out of date - I no longer use it. I still use ccleaner from time to time though.

  • um i typed in gpedit.msc on run and i got an error saying that it does not existt?

  • @ConorWatt1 Watch the video and/or read the description properly? Both (especially the video) explains why you would get this error... It means you either typed it wrong (unlikely) or have an operating system that does not allow access to gpedit.msc (likely). The list of operating systems that can not access gpedit.msc is in the description (and the video).

  • @Musicarta i think it might be because i am not admin lol illvgo do that and try again

  • @xlllllSADISTlllllx You may not be able to notice a difference as I said, but hopefully it will speed it up somewhat. More noticeably for me was an increase in download speed. The difference in speed for loading web pages was minimal. However, it works better on some internet connections than others, so I hope it works for you. Whatever happens, it's worth changing this setting anyway as it can only improve the internet speed, not decrease it. Thanks for commenting.

  • @Musicarta You may not be able to notice... Basically, more than likely won't work?

  • @eldiablo9604 No. It's not a fact of "won't work". I find this a very pessimistic view:

    1. As previously said, it works to different extents on different internet connections, often affecting 'behind the scenes' speed (such as flash/download speed) rather than page load speeds, but sometimes both!

    2. It's the opposite to what you said: you are more likely to have an increase in speed than not.

    3. What have you got to lose by doing this? Nothing. It' can't decrease your speed, only increase.

  • @eldiablo9604 ... Continued In addition, something I didn't mention in my previous comment. Almost all of the other comments left on this video also provide further evidence to my second point: you are more likely to notice a genuine increase in internet speed than not. I hope I cleared things up for you.

  • The 6 dislike are mac users

  • @jvill318 Agreed =)

  • @ninjasagahackcrew No problem at all. I'm glad it was useful.
