that is NOT TRUE! daddy long leg's poison does not affect a human, much less an insect. What you've heard is a false legend. The fangs of a daddy long leg spider are just as long as a Brown recluse, a very poisonous spider, just a brown recluse has much stronger muscles in its fangs so it can cause a larger amount of penitration. Daddy long leg's fangs are .25mm while the depth of a human's skin is .5mm to .4mm. So basically that legend is completely wrong and has no truth to it.

actually i would because a University in California did, and Mythbusters did as well, one of the Daddy long legs bit on of the show's hosts and the only thing he had was a mild burning sensation. And i just realized that the brown recluse has twice the size of a daddy long leg. they have the same fang structure, my bad. But there is no evidence of a Daddy long leg ever causing harm to a human.

The black widow is not the deadliest spider in the world; and there are quite a few people who have been bitten by them and survived. My grandfather survived a black widow bite.  If not treated it could cause a problem, but you can be hospitalized and get help if you are bitten. The funnel web spider and the Brazilian wandering spider are much more dangerous.
