thank you for uploading the first episode. I missed it on tv, so I'm very glad to be able to watch it anyway. Obviously the BBC doesn't believe in "arte+7" (stashing broadcastings for a week online). But you can always rely on youtube resp. on williewall ........
Just put the wheels in motion to get my camper van. T5 vw and convert it.i all ways wanted to have this way of life and now my wife is on the same page.im a camera man and when I get mine I'll post some videos of our adventures. Great show and great bunch of people. I can't wait .-)
When I watched the one man and his campa on the TV i loved it and then the next day i would watch in on demand and when thy took it off i was so dissapointid...but now it is online i can watch it when ever I am bord.thanks for posting it!!!!!
Excellent... Thanks for posting... There was another tv series with 3 young Lads touring the uk who had to work for food and money... Can't remember the name of the tv series though... Anyone ??
Brilliant I missed a few of these due to the daft time they were aired, hope your putting em all on, I had a wesy same white over orange. well posted must subscribe :0)
@indydaisy1 Well I do publish a magazine on the packaging industry. But I would have thought the ink could have been visible in the food - I would not do it anyway!!
like the concept but can't stand the guy and also don't understand why these people do these shows when they miss their 'family' and ram it down our throats every 5 minutes. The idea of the show is a solo journey.
@sweetypie000 I saw most of the programme on the television except for this the first episode and I did not realise that he had a family until he mentioned it at the end of today's show. But then again, why did n't he take his family with him?
@alanheath Because it would change the purpose of the programme. This is kind of a cooker incorporated travel show, therefore taking his family would produce a completely different outcome: troubles and tantrums of the kids, disagreements between the couples, less time on him, etc.
@stupidintellect90 Maybe yes, but I don't think they would be showing the kid's tantrums and that. I can't understand why people want to have kids anyway. I would much rather have a nice dog.
@sweetypie000 So, should all caring couples stay at home and miss out on their life? What do you think actors and, as a matter of fact, a lot of other people do. When people go to work, they miss their children and partner or whoever. His is just a lengthier work day. Besides what's wrong with talking about the people you love. If he'd completely forgotten about them and not mentioned them once, he'd seem like a right arse but he does the opposite and he's a wuss?
@sugarpuffsandwich That is a very complicated question because it depends on so much. I have a T4 with a high roof so I can stand up. You could get a normal van and then convert it yourself - or just put a sleeping bag and a matress in the back - and if you are feeling like it get a portable camp stove. That would probably be the best.
I travel constantly because of my work (you can see from my videos) + so had a good idea of what I needed - remember that you may not need a van - a car may do!
Can't believe I actually left North Devon! Grew up there and am starting to regret leaving! :( This was amazing, but made me really homesick!

What an absolute display of will-power. You managed that entire adventure and never ate the lobster sitting on the dash.

I don't think that cooking the fish in newspaper a good idea as there is the very strong possibility of ink migration into the food.

@alanheath your looking to much into that :) ink migration

@sugarpuffsandwich save up, give the rat race up, find work on the road then move on, it works and will set you free in more ways then one.
