How do you audition for Gossip Girl? Seriously? Isn't it a bit like auditioning for Baywatch with more attitude? Let me see if I have the criteria down:

1. Can play a snotty little bitch/asshole

2. No history of weight gain (weight problems like anorexia are okay)

3. A personal trainer (but if the show works out, you'll have one anyway)

4. Isn't shy about fake US network style sex scenes and can mutter ridiculous dialogue with a straight face.

5.Perpetually horny or pissed off. 2 tone acting.

@surfer53 I agree, but Leighton Meester's a good actress, and Blake Lively is great when she's not muttering the ridiculous dialogue on Gossip Girl (she was amazing in Traveling Pants), and Ed Westwick is brilliant. So at least they were smart enough to get good actors to make up for the silliness of the show.

She actually was one of the first choices for Hannah Montana but she didn't want to take the part because she wanted to sing her own music instead of the Disney stuff.

@iDance625 Not so. She just didn't get picked. Nothing to do w/ the music, she was freaking 10, and too young for the part. Even though she is taller than Cyrus, she is not as personable and came across as younger. Miley was only a little over a yr older, but was more persistent and able to pull off the comedy timing that Momsen wasn't. That said, Momsen has a great voice.
