Pdanet hide tether usage level 1 has worked for me even in gaming (which has unique packets.) I use around a average of 5-7gbs of data only 1-3gbs is tethered. The rest is from the app downloads xD

Good lookin out man. Just got my plan changed yesterday from unlimited data, to that damn tethering plan. Played dumb when I called em about the change and they gave me my unlimited back. Really hesitant to tether anymore but these two apps look promising. And yes, they go after the ones using ALOT of data. I asked him what brought it to their attention and it was the 16 GB of data I had used. Lmao. ;)

What proof do you have does this really hides tethering from AT&T? Some users state they still are getting the" text of death" from AT&T after using PDANet. Just want to know if this really does work, or are you just taking the word from the developer?

@Pontihog I don't have AT&T, some people use it and don't get the text of death and some has used it and still get the text of death. Like most things in this world, not everything works for everyone.
