Man this vid didn't show up in my sub box. Good video. I read the article, and I didn't really read anything that I wanted to see. The article didn't really strike me as EA wanting to give a true sim experience. It just seemed like excuses of why a football game is so hard to make. I really hope they are headed in the right direction, I feel like they are focused on all of the extras, when they should still be focused on the core.

@ShakeDown2012 All day Fam. Competition is needed with anything for the simple fact of different ideas. Look at what HomeFront and Crisis 2 did in the shooter world, they borrowed ideas from COD and Battlefield and still made it their own game. Madden has done that before, Madden 08 was a direct result of 2k8's abilities system.

I read the article. I think it's a bunch of crap. Sure we all love John Madden but let's face it, until someone with some clout sheds some TRUE light on this game it's never going to change much. Every EA interview is choreographed. The reviewers, bloggers, interviewers casually dance around Madden's issues as if it's not a big deal when the game clearly needs some HEAVY public criticism from legitimate sources. I mean, where's Jim Rome when you need him? Face it, the game will always suck.

That damn article is super long I got thru the 1st quarter and have to say this... its sounding like BS to me... then you get to the paragraph right before (Second Quarter: "It's Gotten to Be Another Thing") The author is giving the Madden 'game" an excuse to why its been sooo crappy... Really dig the video, fella! Each installment of Madden on current gen consoles have had the same "feel" to them, whereas on past gen systems there was a great, discernible difference each year. Also, on an unrelated note, what happened with Makeufamous closing his channel?

Madden 13 is going to be sick Doggys. Like is not going to be sim but is going to be like very fun and very intuitive. Im telling ya pick it up. You can make money if you get really good at it. I seen the Madden challenge with that guy Problem. Say word!..... Word!

I read the article and I am impressed! There are many of minds that help create the game of football. I understand EA is trying to stradle both sides of the fence with consumers. From an economic point of view I completely agree with the company not wanting to put everthing football stands for in one video game because that would kill them financially. As far as how they view the game with angles and camera views they may have been 1k steps ahead of us socalled simheads. Its all cost effective.

@ nykia31 those same drop glitchers and frauds that are on ranked online usually go into leagues & do dirty work there so all in all ON MADDEN u cant escape the CHEESE. MADDEN IS CHEESE BY DESIGN.

Another good vid SimFBall, I have a ton of fun playing with simulation gamers in NCAA/Madden. Its fun to see what mind games you have to play vs your opponent to beat them. Once you can look past that these games flaws and cheese play, You can appreciate Madden and NCAA for what they are, solid football games. Losing is not that big of a deal in online ranked, It happens. That's probably the biggest misconception in what makes someone "good" or not

@KCClassic7 I agree fully. You all know how bad a what a True Simulation, but Madden is actually playable and fun if you take it for what it is. It is a step in the right direction, and with that being said I expect Madden to now take leaps.

The thing i want them to do with Madden 13 is give teams personality... if u are playing the Giants you should be getting sacked more than when you play teams like the rams or if u play with Green Bay you should have an unstoppable passing game, but not have an unstoppable passing game with the Browns

@metgiantfan31 This already happens. I do know what you mean by personality though. The player traits that they added this year do have a effect on the game. I hope they continue to flesh that part of the game out. The CPU Controlled players should be able to do all of the moves and animations that you are capable of doing.

You see some great animations when you user WR's or passrushers, so the animations are in the game...they just need to have the AI trigger them more.

Man. I'd get this game if I was assured I'd get a solid group of cats to play with online. Online is just no fun, or the risk is too high for cheesy players to warrant a real dive into the mode. Good luck though with your league. I really hope that it works out.

I look at video game developers the same way I look at NBA Referees. If I know who they are, it usually isnt a good thing =o).

Most guys who populate the online ranked world, are frauds..drop glitchers, etc... While it is fun exposing them at times, online leagues is where the most fun is at, by far.
