@Jbizzle305 i had same problem i bought soul calibur first and i got sick of it after 1 week and so i retunred it for sf4 and ive been playin it since then ...dont make that mistake just get sf4 from the begining
The tournament edition is well worth the cost. It's very sturdy and has a higher build quality compared to the SE. I haven't really played with the SE stick much, but it's okay. If you're a fighting game buff, it'd be a disservice if you got the SE stick.
If you are worried about the SE breaking down buy better parts and swap them. I bought an SE stick recently and its performing quite well actually and if i want to exchange the parts the total cost will only be around 40 dollars, so il be spending like 120 total for the SE while the TE cost like 150.
Yes, I'm in Britain and we didn't get any insleeve artwork - black and white manual too.. *Sigh* Once again, Europeans pay more for the games and get less - nice one Capcom!
Awesome unboxing! The lack of insleave art was a disappointment for me although apart from burnout i dont know any 3rd party ps3 games which have it! and its always a disapointment! and the manuals black and white!
I haven't got Street Fighter IV yet, in a matter of fact the only thing I have close to Street Fighter is Tatsunoko vs Capcom for Wii other than playing previous Street Fighter games on an emulator. Do you think I should get it? Fighting isn't my favourite genre but it's in my top 3.
If you have some friends that you can play against, then yea I'd say get it. We're kinda treating it as some sort of party game where we bust it out when we feel like playing it and so far its been working great
i've been hearing that only people in the united states (excluding canada) are getting the in-sleeve art. with europe, i'm not sure if the collector's ps3 one has it. i think one other person who's posted on here mentioned that they didn't have the in-sleeve art either.
The lack of sleeve art doesn't really bother me, but I think the grayscale manual gives a very cheap impression. Even newspapers are in color, so why not a manual of a €60,- (= $75 US) video game which also happens to be Capcom's flagship product.
Agreed. I think Capcom and other Japanese companies should realize that the European market's being underserved over the past decade or so (delayed releases, no collector's editions, etc). We believe that Square Enix's buyout of Eidos is not necessarily a move to get the IPs Eidos owns but to be able to have a distribution arm in Europe. If that's the case, we're hoping their EU releases will be more frequent.
Did you open the bonus disk yet? I remember watching a shaky unboxing somebody did and for the hint book, it looked like a standard dvd size book. When I opened mine, it was the size of a PS3 book. Just curious to see hows your look. I was thinking maybe I got a PS3 version of the hint book.
I'm enjoying it. There's been a couple of battles online that I've experienced lag with, but I think its because these people were on college networks. Overall, it's a nice old school experience that reminds you why you played SF2 to begin with and is a good intro to fighting games
It's basically a switch that controls what the joystick controls. The options are as follows: DP (or D-pad), LS (or Left Stick), and RS (or Right Stick). This is usually used for games that don't support the D-pad, although most fighting games usually do.
