@RageDeth Well i don't think Mustaine fucked up. Firstly, their lifestyle was crazy. Drugs, bitches, booze, that was too much for a 16year old boy, even Loomis, I think. Then, they got Friedman, who is one of the best players ever, and played most of the greatest Megadeth songs, and contributed to their huge success. Finally, it allowed Loomis to play with Dane, and they formed NEVERMORE! :D Which is the best metal band today, in my opinion, with Dream Theater and Opeth.

Just like if dave mustaine never got kicked out of metallica, then there'd be no megadeth, and the classics from most of the great metallica albums would have been different. Stuff happens for good reasons.

Not in terms of note choices or feel, but in terms of technique, Nevermore is several grades up from A7X in terms of technicality, solos included. This isn't to say A7X aren't good at what they do (they aren't my kinda thing, personally), but they are simply not as technically proficient as Nevermore are. Not one member of A7X has been heard to play anything as difficult as what the members of Nevermore have.
