people talking about retri palas being bad, that is simply not true, I have done over 20k DPS in raid with my retri.. there is some luck involved ofc! but with retri, there isnt really a rotation, more of a priority system.. and it takes some skill to master it!

@lotto3k Maybe you need to actually play a retri pala before you comment. Rotation is Crusader Strike - Judgement - Consecration, and Exorcism/Templars verdict when you proc it. Theres no other "new" way of doing it effectively.

@ingofreak well isn't the lore a "make as we go along" kind of thing? :p It just dissapoints me that a game that I left 4 (maybe even 5) years ago delivers a boss encounter of an exact copy of Thunderaan, only with a clitchy-looking fly-in-space-of-nothing fight. The game is supposed to change, that is what an expansion is supposed to do, but actually if you started out in 2004, the gameplay, and the models were pretty much the same as now - with the exception the flying without wings thinge.

@ingofreak my problem is mainly with the size of the model. Thunderaan and Ragnaros were its max max, and the clumsy way in which the people that made this boss ultra-huge realy makes it show its flaws: the blade goes through the ground texture when it hits something and even its cape goes through the ground + the super magnification shows the buildup of textures. It looks awful!  With a game that earns about 50 million a year you d expect people to make a better model in .. maybe 5 years?

Yeah, Raid Bosses don't really have a level.

Technically, they're Level -1.

But "Boss" Err... Level ?? (Boss) is a special level really-- It's [Your Character's Level] +3.

They have static HP and Attack Power, but a dynamic level for all other purposes (such as hit)

They make it -1 for the fact that if the level is too high for the players, it would be like 99% dodge, 99%parry 99% miss and 100% chance for the boss to hit you. like a special catagory for bosses and it shows up as ?? no matter how high of a level you are.

I don't care how much they say they "balanced" 10 and 25, they haven't. 10 man is still a joke. It renders a lot of position based fights, i.e. Ascendant Council, irrelevant. Paragon and Premo are probably the front runners for 25s right now and will be for a long time.
